MicroBook: read book summaries Reviews

Remember the boring books or teachers and professors that went on and on, and with a short attention span you learned nothing, well, these awesome summaries are to the point and give you what you want to know about the book! I wish we had these when I was in high school and college!!!

I’m a single mom and don’t have time to read a whole book...ever. This is great for anyone who doesn’t have a lot of time but still wants their minds stimulated. There are a few glitches here and there, but it’s free and definitely a huge positive in my life.

The title says it for itself — I’m not the person to be complaining about an app but I really did have a lot of faith in this one as a highschool student with a lot off useless books to read (I’ve read them in the past such as Frankenstein or Lord of the Flies so I just need to remember the main plot) but there are roughly less than 100 books in MicroBook which is only about Marketing & Business and yada yada. Just sad and disappointed at the moment.

Idea of app is excellent but it is a little buggy. There I have finished only 2 books. But in my profile it says 5 completed books and. The second finished book was The Sleep Revolution. I marked it as Done. But in the Read section it is showing another book as finished. I hope you will fix these bugs.

I just downloaded MicroBook . I was able to get through the introduction and add a few books that was interesting to me. However, now, when I try to click on a book either in my library or on the home page, MicroBook freezes and doesn’t do anything. I’ve tried restarting my phone and re-downloading MicroBook , but nothing works. Sad I can’t use it, as it seems like such a genius idea! :/

There are so many books to read. This may help you choose which ones you should dive in!

BUG:: App freezes on highlight action.

BUG:: App does NOT remember book or read time.

BUG:: Also every time I close and re-open MicroBook , I have to go through the initial staging journey identifying my interests and re-selecting books.

FEATURE REQ:: I should be able to highlight a line of text and copy or “Look Up” on the web.

These are fundamental requirements in the scope of the application. Can’t find streaks and all that when it doesn’t even remember where you are in any book. Got a ways to go to get to the level of other apps similar to this.

From the glaring typo in the very first screen to the lack of content, I found MicroBook unusable. The UI is nice and clean, but only for iPhone, not iPad. The opening screens led me through choosing some subjects and then suggested 2 books. Only 2? There was no way to just browse the offerings. This whole product in general, including MicroBook , has a long way to go.

I just downloaded MicroBook and the first book I began to read was very confusing. The confusion stems from misspelled words and bad grammar.
I stopped reading after a few minutes because I questioned if the content was correct.
Very disappointed. I quest if I want a legitimate summary book app, I will have to pay for Blinkest.

It's a very nice app. My daughter loves to read and this is a great way to introduce her to some of those childhood classics. Thank you for making this available.

I love that MicroBook takes the best of the books and puts it together for me in a quick read. Absolutely love

Reporting a bug here. I finished a book but it is not showing in the “read” tab. Still shows in the “to read” tab.
Great concept btw.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for to help me get through my reading list.

I think if there would be more books available then it would get a 10/10

Only had Goose Girl in it and nothing else. Also, had issues with turning the page. It would turn multiple times and when I would try to go back, it would keep going forward. Needs much work.

MicroBook has numerous errors such as getting things done synopsis under 4 hour work week. Not surprising because it’s free unlike the less so less upkeep I figure. Go spend the monthly rate to get a much larger list and a better overall experience. I know I’m going to. Cheers.

Sometimes it works badly with memory. So the application crashes. Also there is no search and other functionality!

I downloaded and deleted MicroBook several times but I was never able to actually open any of the content. The cover looks good but there is no way to see what’s inside.
