Let me start off by saying, if I were able to give READIT zero stars, I would. I absolutely hate when apps get you into it and get you excited about it, then cut you off right before the best part. I had started reading a story on READIT, and at first I wasn’t too interested in it. Finally, I got to where I didn’t want to stop reading. When I finally got to where the best part was going to be, READIT was like, “sorry, now you have to pay”. Basically, I downloaded READIT to read half of a story, write a review on how crappy READIT is, and then delete it. Also, I HATE how they put a notification a short ways into the story asking you to rate it. Now, most people would just pick 4 or 5 stars because they figure, “why not, READIT seems pretty cool”, and then they get cut off and leave their rating high. I, on the other hand always wait to rate. I make sure there are no hidden schemes to take your money before I rate. This is why I rate READIT one star and I hope people read this and change their mind about downloading READIT. It is a waste of time and storage. If these problems get fixed, I might consider downloading READIT again. But, until then, I hate READIT with a passion.

I downloaded READIT hoping to get to read some fun and well thought out text stories. As soon as I get into READIT , however, I was placed in the middle of a story that I hadn’t chosen and with no way to exit. Then, part way into this story, there’s a pop up offering more for a weekly, monthly, or yearly payment. A free trial for 3 days was offered, so I thought, ok, well, maybe I should at least try it out and if it’s not worth the money I can cancel the trial. I read probably 7-8 of the stories, and decided immediately that I had wasted my time. Every story is extremely short, there’s so many plot holes in each story, some of them cut off and end abruptly, and many aspects of each story just didn’t make sense. There was even a story where a conversation is happening between two people, in real life, not over text, but READIT keeps adding text messages as if they are talking over text. These two people are standing next to each other in the story and having an entire text message conversation instead of speaking face to face. Makes no sense. It’s lazy and uninspired writing. So, not worth the money at all. I will be uninstalling READIT.

Now, if you were to ask me which “creepy chat app” is the worst before today, I would’ve said “all the apps are the same there’s nothing original about any of them.” But now if you were to ask me that question I would have to say this app. Now I don’t know if it’s pronounced this app (red-it) or this app (read-it) but either way it’s stealing the idea behind Reddit’s name. Any way there’s not much to really say other than the fact that they make you pay to finish a story. All though, there is ONE thing that kinda pisses me off, and that’s the fact that above where it says what’s new they say they’ve fixed our “main complaints” even though the only complaint I’ve really seen is how you have to pay to read stories but they haven’t fixed that. Overall, it’s a terrible app and you just shouldn’t spend money on it. I personally think that if they wanna make money, just make READIT cost a couple bucks to buy and have the rest be free.

I was really enjoying the story until I found out I have to pay to read the rest of the story and all of the stories😡 who ever made this game must wasn’t planning on anyone keeping it because that’s what’s going to happen no one will want to keep it because they can’t enjoy it🙄. I read some of the comments and what I notice is that some people addressed the same issue I addressed but still gave a 5 ⭐️ rating. Your basically saying the game is perfect but still ur complaining which makes no sense. I don’t know if people know this but the more good ratings the higher the overall rate of the game and the higher the overall rate the more they get paid. So their never going to fix the problems because people still give good ratings and whoever made the game still gets paid well. U rate what the game deserves and to be honest this game deserve a 1 ⭐️ rating simply because it is not enjoyable.

So I see all kinds of good reviews and READIT it’s self looked awesome, but when I go to use it automatically makes me read a story that I have no interest in, It won’t let see the images it’d giving for the story and every five words a ad pops up saying do you like READIT or pay a monthly subscription, to read, and see the images. Basically it’s telling me I can’t read any story’s or see the images in the 1 crappy story it lets me read unless I pay a monthly fee!!!🤬 after I clicked through the entire story, it told me to pay to fee again! I understand they need money to support READIT , but they need to give us more than one crappy story that most of use have no interest in to convince use to give them our money, some people don’t even have money to give them. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

so me and my friend were gonna stay up til 3am reading scary text stories, so we went across READIT store looking for different apps to buy. when we got to this app, we overall enjoyed reading it, but wanted to get out of the story to read a new one. but, of course, there was no exit button. so we decided to finish off the story, but once we’re halfway through it, you have to pay for a trial. and the trial isn’t exactly “free”, it hooks up to your bank account and takes money when the “free trial” is over. so we came back a few days later, and there’s still no way to get out or continue reading stories in READIT . this was one of the worst experiences with an app. i’ve seen numerous people comment over a year ago because of the same reasons and you have done nothing to fix it. so, here i am, putting it out there that you need to fix this problem before you loose a lot of customers. and, i understand if you want them to pay, but maybe add a timer for like 5 minutes until they can read again so it’s not a drastic, ever-going wait. thank you for taking your time to read my review, have a nice day.

Right, READIT isn’t a good app at all. Probably below 0 stars. I find it very annoying that you have to pay to read the FIRST-STORY. And no, I am not going to pay for an App that isn’t going to let me finish the first story! I find it very sad because I really thought I could enjoy READIT. I really love reading but this is too much. It’d be better if you’d get a premium button to read CERTAIN stories! (And make your own) Not to continue them halfway! I don’t know if with READIT you can create your own story, because again, I didn’t get any access to READIT . You guys could’ve at least made READIT so that you can read for 48 hours, maybe then you could get some sales, and that people would actually buy something.

I was really enjoying this story I was reading but it stopped me right at the good part and said I had to pay to continue reading. I was like oh well fine I will just read something else. I was trying to find a button that would take me to the other stories but then I realized that there wasn’t one. YOU HAVE TO PAY TO READ ANY OF THE STORIES. And they say well you get a week free! But I don’t want just a week I want to read stories when I want and for as long as I want. And I don’t want to have to spend 5 bucks a week for that(or whatever it costs). If you want to charge us for doing anything on ur app why don’t you just make your app cost money. I find it so STUPID that READIT if free but you have to pay to do anything on it.

When I first got READIT I thought it was pretty cool and when I got on it there was a story that I had to read before I read any other story’s after I finished reading the story I try to go to another story and it told me I had to buy it if I want to read it so I thought maybe it’s just certain stories that cost money but no that’s not the case every single story cost money so I deleted READIT A few months past i for got about so I went on READIT story and looked up scary texted story’s and READIT was the first one that pops up so I downloaded it same story was on there when I got on it so I tried to skip it because I remember reading it so I tried doing a different story and it told me I had to pay for it but this time it cost more then it did before so I deleted it a year past by I got READIT again I did the same story again tried to do a different story still cost money so I got off READIT the next day I got back on it. It would let me do anything at All so I finally deleted and I have not got READIT again I would not suggest anyone to get READIT unless you don’t care about paying for every story you read🙏🏻👎

I thought READIT would be good because of the first story. But then it stopped, and said I could have a 1 week free trial to continue reading. I didn’t want to do that because what’s the point? So I tried to exit out of the story but I couldn’t find a way to. So I closed READIT and opened it again. It went back to the same story and the ‘1 week free trial’ add popped up again over and over. I finally had enough of that so I came here to right this review. I’ll be deleting READIT when I’m done. It would be good to install a way to close out of the story. (If that’s already there for the people who did the 1 week free trial and payed for it afterwords, I’m sorry for making this comment.) All in all, I didn’t really enjoy READIT .

So when I first got READIT I liked it and the first story was cool, but then it made me stop reading and forced me to pay to continue. I feel like there should be a timer like Hooked and Yarn have, because at least then you can finish the story. You can’t even go to any home page or anything, it forces you to pay to do anything else! I’m sorry, but this is one of the worst chat story apps I’ve gotten. I would get Hooked, Tap, Yarn, or Chat Book instead, because at least they let you read something! I’m very disappointed with this app, and probably will be deleting it if they don’t let me read on in the future.

I got READIT excited and eager. I started to read a story and wanted to start reading something else. But, I could not find a way to exit the story of which I was currently reading. I do however enjoy READIT itself due to the fact of many good book genres. I just wish I could get out of the story I’m reading to continue the joy and fun for all other stories. If I could receive help to fix this problem that would be greatly appreciated. So if you like all kinds of stories get READIT. It’s amazing!

My review on READIT is 5 stars because of the dramatic entrance to let your readers actually want to read. READIT also helps our body and brain and how to react when reading a book. Now days kids do not like to read but READIT solves it all it actually makes then want to read because it is almost like someone is talking to THEM, which is like talking to a friend but this over reaches the boundaries this shows that reading is fun and even helps the environment, and READIT does just that.(I hope you reply);)

Over all it is a good app but in READIT they are always trying to get you to purchase stuff I feel like and the part where you have to tap to read another text is kind of annoying but cool at the same time because you get to go at your own pace and they tell you where to tap and all that stuff. I also just got READIT like 5 min ago and I already love it! But I was confused on why I can’t choose the story I read! Anyway I think this is an amazing app!

So I LOVE READIT but do u have to start me off on a story? Not trying to be rude but I’m just saying I’ve read “the incident” like yesterday and I’m just wondering if u could fix that bc on my screen there’s nu possible way u can get out of that story! On my iPad it would let me get out and starts me off on PICKING a story! But on my phone (what I’m using now) it wouldn’t let me get out without subscribing and I’m just saying that RLLY annoying I deleted it literally 3 times I actually counted!
