The latest update has a bug that crashes ShoppingList when trying to type a price on an item. Running iOS 13.3
Please Fix It !!
Also why do one has to have a DropBox account to sync, when with the old app could sync via Bluetooth? Why it doesn’t support iCloud?
Tried using AirDrop and it doesn’t work.
Why did you disabled the old this app app? DropBox must be paying you, while we get screwed.
Crashes when scanning items. Would be useful if it worked. Nothing stellar about its functions. Would be a 4-star app if it worked.
Not that good looking anymore
How can I get it back
The new update is terrible. I now CANNOT open ShoppingList at all! Please fix ASAP!!!!
Love ShoppingList until today and have been using it for years - yet the last update ended just in a spinning wheel of death. Pls fix
I love ShoppingList but with the last update you can on longer delete products. Otherwise I would rate it 5stars
I have tried a lot of shopping apps and by far, ShoppingList has been the most user friendly app. I only have a few suggestions. Prices change often at the grocery stores, so it would be nice if there was a faster way to add/change a price. Maybe a tap and hold to update a price. My other suggestion, which would really help would be a function where you could put in you areas tax rate so ShoppingList can add it on. I know it is hard to determine what is taxed and what is not. However, when changing an item, a check mark box with the word taxed might work. Not sure if these suggestions are possible but it would really make it the PERFECT app for me and others I know.
Add dark mode .. more people will buy ShoppingList.
This is a very nicely designed and useful app and totally worth the price...! But it's also missing a few features to make it even better...
For instance, I can't save units that are not already in there -- like a crate of (whatever) or a barrel of (something)...!? Also it would be nice to have an option to set up more than one list, for different occasions -- I buy different stuff at a grocery store than at the hardware store, having different (saveable) lists would be really handy...! Actually not being able to save lists for future use is one of the bigger glitches...
Like many other users I'll be looking forward to an update, which will hopefully come soon and address a few of the subjects discussed on here...
This is the first shopping list app I downloaded in 2009 and I still use it every day. There is so much to love about ShoppingList. First it is so easy to use. I love that I can have a list for each store I go to. AND I can have the same item on multiple lists. I love that I can categorize the items for easy shopping. All my produce items are listed together. All my baking items are listed together. It makes it easy ensure I’m remembering everything in one area. I love that it syncs over Dropbox, so everyone in my family can add to the list. There are so many ways ShoppingList is helpful, and I’m sure I don’t even use it to its full potential. Download ShoppingList! You’ll be glad you did.
I love this application. You type in whatever you need (or use the pre-made lists), then in the "Category" function you type in (once, then select from) the name of the store where you will go to purchase the item (like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods), and it will list the item under a heading for that store/category. Once you've purchased (and marked) the item, the item name fades to a lighter shade until the next time you need to mark it for purchase. You can also arrange the order of the items on the list. The "pad" cleverly resets itself each time you add or mark an item. If you like to be organized, you will love this application.
I really like ShoppingList. I have been using it for several years. I appreciate that I can use many of the pre-populated list items, but can add my own, too. The ability to share the list and to keep multiple lists is great. I wish I could hold, then drag items around within the list. I don't like to use the category view, but would like to list items in order or where I find them as I moved through the store. I also really, really wish I could add bigger pictures (or that they were easily viewed without having to go into edit mode) for when I need derail visible for whomever I am sending to the store That said, this is overall a great app for my needs.
I have been using this app almost 2 years now. It's the simplest app ever. You can even make your own shopping categories and enter specific foods, drinks, etc, that you purchase. For example, I have my Shopping List, plus I created another reminder list. The second one is "Things to Do" and I use it to remind me to pick up prescriptions, make phone calls, go to the dry cleaner, purchase gifts, etc. you can create as many categories as you wish.
I will also say that if you ever have a problem or question regarding this app, you will receive quick and polite answers from this app support. I've emailed support at least 2-3 times with questions, and received my answer within one day.
5 Stars for an app I use all the time, and for their terrific support.
I love using it on my Apple Watch.
Excellent, practical and easy to use.
I love ShoppingList, its precious.
I’ve had ShoppingList for years! Still my go to, still the best for lists. I use it everyday. It can be used for all sorts of lista not just shopping. Its genius is in its simplicity. It just does what it’s supposed to :)
If you need shopping list this is your program specially the barcode Scan feature it’s saves time
I like how it alphabetizes everything. You can add things like the cost and stuff but I haven't used any other features. I just find it very convenient that it alphabetizes so I can go to the item right away.
It works fine on my phone but does not translate to my iPad. When I downloaded it to my iPad the lists I have on my phone did not come with it.
ShoppingList is super easy to use and so handy! You can choose from the items already listed, or you can add in your own items. It remembers the items you add- as well as the amounts you have associated with them- so that those things are waiting for you next time. You tick things off as you get them and it greys them out for easy viewing. The only opportunity I can see is that it doesn't save your added quantity labels to the entire list- it just attaches them to the item you added it with. It would be nice if it would, so you wouldn't have to keep adding "box" or "carton", etc., that initial time- minor issue. All in all, great app. Get it!
