I normally don’t write app reviews - but to say that this version is some extreme improvement over the other I am not so sure.
This app looks and feels like it was designed as an intern project. Many of the fields and UI/UX are very unlike what one would expect.
Also there is no support for Apple Pay or purchasing within the app - how can MARTA be so far behind every other app on the App Store?
This system isn’t going to get better until those at MARTA start holding themself to a higher standard (well I say higher but right now it feels like there is no standard).
Whoever downloaded this app before releasing it and reviewed it and stated “Yes - looks good” must not know anything about iOS application development, quality software engineering, or have any UI/UX experience. Many icons clip over themself, the load times are still very long, and if you were to ask me what time is a train arriving I couldn’t tell you.
Here’s to hoping when Breeze 3.0 comes out in 2033 (and we then have to make another account again) that we might get Apple Pay. At least then I’ll be able to complain about not having NFC support (coming in Breeze 4.0 in 2043 - new account needed of course).

The app is pretty bad at the moment. It’s supposed to be a better function for those who use the Marta system. Prior to this new app every now and then I wouldn’t be able to buy a ticket because of technical issues through the old breeze mobile app. However, since this app has gone live I have not been able to add anything to it. I have not been able to use the app and I am commuting daily on the Marta.
I have to make sure I have cash on me now so that I can load a breeze card. It’s quite inconvenient and the original app no longer allows you to add anything to it either soo it’s just out of service. Someone should really take a look at the app and fix it because it’s inconvenient to it’s users at the moment and not as effective as it was supposed to be.

This app introduces the concept of ids for uniqueness in such an obstructive manner it is unusable.
You need to add as many ids as you want to have for unique riders - none of this is well documented. To add an I’d you have to have a Marta card for them (isn’t the point of this app to not have a physical Marta card?!?!??) or you have to have a unique payment form per I’d to authenticate.
Well I could add a couple with each on a different card from my Apple wallet. When you activate a ticket you need to assign it to each separate “Id” and once you do that you STILL can’t make it work at the turnstile.
The old app let you activate as many tickets as you liked and you could swap through them with the flick of your thumb and Sheppard your party through the turnstiles.
This version of the app fails so badly at this scenario which can’t be uncommon. Who decided this arbitrary identity scheme was a good idea - you either have a ticket for each person or you don’t why would it ever matter in any way that would force an average family to suffer through this experience. Go back to the old app or fix this.
