Don’t work

Remote was the ONLY APP i found to actually be helpful until the last update. Now it does not work at all! says its connected and the green dot instantly turns red. very sad as ive tried so many and i had a 5 star review at first :(

annoying makes Remote useless

Used to work perfectly for me, now it can’t even hold a connection for more than 10 seconds at a time. Ridiculous.

Downloaded ran it, it finds the TV, asks me to name , then none of the control work

You have introduced a bug with the latest version. I just updated my app from Remote Store and now it crashes on start. However, I really love Remote and I use it everyday. I am willing to give it the highest rating once this bug is fixed.

Remote worked perfect for the first 3 days. Then automatically stopped working on day 4. I know this was not just an issue for my phone because same with my husband, stopped working after day 3. Very unfortunate because we loved Remote in the beginning.

I have to remove a device and add it back every time I go back to it. Why is Remote asking me for a “device nickname”? It found it under what I already nicknamed it? At times I get it connected and only certain buttons work.

Gets the job done for the most part when it’s actually working, but navigating within apps is sometimes difficult. The back button doesn’t always work when it’s supposed to. Sometimes none of the controls really work at all or are extremely laggy, which is frustrating.

Remote worked great for months! But, with the new IOS update, it has become broken. I have disconnected and reconnected to my tv several times, reinstalled Remote and everything and it still will register the TV being on upon opening Remote , but as soon as I click anything Remote dot will turn red signifying it lost connection.

This worked for a while till i moved and it would not pick up my tv.

Been working just fine up until this morning. It’s still connected to my tv, but every time I push the buttons, nothing happens. The indicator light goes red when I push a button & then back to green right after. No setting on my tv has changed, so I’m not sure what possibly happened. I deleted Remote & redownloaded it & still nothing.

It’s a good easy to use and fast connecting this app, itd be nice to have different theme color options and I’d also love to see a paid version with no ads.

This this app app is wonderful, most functions work on my TV running Google/Android OS. There’s one feature I wished Remote has, a functional trackpad which controls the TV’s cursor/mouse on the screen. Once the TV’s built in web browser is launched, Remote is not usable to navigate the web pages. The curser movement and scroll features of a trackpad would solve the problem; along with the existing keyboard function. This would also enable easy navigation of the TV’s Home screen to go directly to the item the user wish to launch instead of slowly jumping through the menu picks. Please add the true trackpad with scroll function. Thank you for writing the this app app, we enjoy using it.

sometimes it wont connect, BlueTooth on.
Wifi on both devices, Even when im close to my tv it Mostly says “Please ensure your tv is switched on And connnected to the same wifi network” How do i fix this?

Besides, Works great alot Helpful with a broken this app I would give Remote a 5 star if it Connected easily. Or thats just my end.

It would be better if you could add your own channels from the Google store to the shortcut menu bar. It just has a fixed group of channels and some are old. (For example, it has old, non-working HBO Go and HBO max apps instead of the new MAX app so these don’t work).

Won’t control TVs volume. Never had this issue with DroidTV this app controlling TVs volume. Nonetheless, I am able to control my DroidTV with my phone, originally what I downloaded it for flawlessly. Just not TV settings, volume, menu.

Almost purchased premium, but I’m not positive that would solve Remote not working with my TV like I want.

Wondering if you would consider adding auto-rotate functionality so Remote would work in landscape orientation on the iPad? My family member with a disability uses this on an iPad mounted on a wheelchair. They cannot change the iPad so Remote appears sideways to them.

It asked me if I wanted to update Remote and now it won’t open come on I lose my controls way to much. Can you fix this ?

Wow really worked I had all ready gave up on the this app apps but got my iPhone to connect to my vuvamini !!

Thank you for making Remote! It works so much better than Remote TCL made. It connects with ease, stays connected, does not lag, and I no longer will have to struggle to reconnect to the TV. Also, ITS FREE! WITH ZERO ADDS! The first one i’ve found and I recommend Remote to anyone who lost their this app, batteries have died and can’t get to the store right away or just doesn’t want to use the this app and prefers the ease of a phone app! Rating this definitely 5 stars. I would rate it higher if I could!

I have tried numerous other tv this app apps that I either had to pay for ;or they just didn’t work. Even some of the paid ones had major problems. This one works perfectly!! I love it!! Thank you developers!

Remote is unbelievably on point! Best one out there available for sure. After you have downloaded Remote and begin to use it you will immediately realize that you will never use or need another this app app. I am definitely a happy camper.

Remote helped me a lot my this app stipe working so I searched and downloaded so many apps but out of like 20 apps only one worked and I was so happy. This is a quick and easy way to control my tv. Everything work perfectly except the volume . But I can manually do it I need to stop being lazy.

Really good app that helped when my this app control broke, but one amazing feature the developer could add would be controls from the Lock Screen if possible? Anyways great app thank you.

Great app . There’s only one issue, MENU Button still not working on this update 🛑

So easy to use. Immediately connects to my TVs. Setup was easy. Very responsive. My only wish is that the this app had a guide button.

I have been loving Remote so much as it’s feature of allowing me typing keywords to search in app, instead of simply navigating buttons to click letter-by-letter on TV.
I encountered crash issue in previous update in iOS16 and send comments yesterday, and I notice developer updates it again today to resolve this issue and Remote works perfectly again!!

Works wonderfully. Only needs to be paired once and will Even turn the tv on and off

I appreciate Remote 's free and high-quality features. However, I would like to be able to see my downloaded apps instead of the pre-installed apps that are currently displayed on the screen.

Finally! Something that’s stable unlike google home and doesn’t ask for a subscription for a freaking this app! I would legitimately buy Remote to support you.

Remote work perfectly with my tv! There’s no bugs and it gets right to business I’m very happy I got Remote! This definitely a 5 star!

When my parents take the this app away from me I get mad but I can pause the tv with Remote I did and if they take away my phone I have Remote on my iPaid💀🤣 I’m a GENUINES!!!

Amazing application, fast and seamless connection. The layout is similar to my this app and work perfectly.

Working well on my tv for which many other similar apps are not working.

I don’t leave reviews on any apps but this was necessary‼️ Remote works better than my actual this app for my TCL that my husband lost 😂😂
