I was initially excited about the concept of BristlesAI, but it needs significant improvement, especially given its price point. Frankly, I'm not sure I'd use it even if it were free because it simply doesn't perform well.

The painting feature is frustrating to use; it's hard to get started, and the colors appear transparent despite setting the opacity to maximum. The AI design function is disappointing as well. It keeps generating very similar designs, and the upvoting and downvoting feature doesn't seem to influence the results at all. I also wish there were options to specify the style, colors, and other preferences to guide the AI in generating designs.

BristlesAI 's examples suggest it can produce realistic results, but my experiences have been quite the opposite. The outputs look like poorly done filters rather than polished designs.

I’m puzzled by the positive reviews claiming frequent use with clients. After experimenting with different pieces of furniture, I didn't get any results that I would consider useful or presentable to a client. Sketching by hand would yield better results.

I was really looking forward to using BristlesAI and wanted to love it, but unfortunately, it is far from usable in its current state.

BristlesAI seems like it’s in the early stages of being created. The paint brush only works when it wants to, tape is very odd to use and when you do finally get the pain to work, it looks like the old school computer painting program from the 90s. It’s good they offer a free trial because I would have been so upset if I spent money on this. Also, the AI designs were hilarious. It turned one of my wood dressers into wicker….like am I supposed to do that? 😂

I’m not upset you have to pay to use but I’m annoyed it doesn’t say anywhere you have to pay in order to use everything. The subscription monthly is 3.99 so it’s cheap but I wanted to see if BristlesAI was good to begin with but in order to know you have to pay or you cannot use it. I was just looking for a basic app that can help with reimagining furniture but I wasn’t looking for one I had to pay to imagine. Nothing wrong with wanting money for your app you put effort into designing. But let people know you have to pay to enter so they don’t have to waste time downloading.

Not a fan of apps lately that are vaguely represented as free but when you go through the trouble of downloading it’s a 7 day trial that forces you to cough up a sub. If you get to cancel within those 7 days your stuck paying for some inferior application. I recommend using desktop apps or going directly to the numerous ai websites to do something like this and get ideas. This gives you some convenience because you are doing it by phone. Good luck.

In my free trial it worked like a charm. Projects loaded quick, quick to get new ideas. Now that I’ve paid for the subscription it’s taking forever to load. So much so that I just give up & close BristlesAI and forget about it. I’m disappointed to say the least. Great app when it works…

BristlesAI has a lot of potential, but in its current state it’s just super tedious to use. Painting in the lines if you want multi faceted colors is a pain, even w edge guard and taping. Copying assets one by one with multiple clicks is tedious, especially things like pole wrap are not easy to keep the exact same size. Not being able to get a good photo of other assets online to work w BristlesAI is frustrating because you can’t get rid of background. I really hope it gets better as I would try again for sure.

This has terribly generated ideas that look like deepfakes from 2016 some of the designs are outlandish and just don’t make sense and it will only give you a max of like 6 ideas pressing and then the generate button does nothing. Considering how much the subscription for this was i feel really ripped off. The only plus side is being able to paint and build your own piece but even then your options are terribly limited. The colors are few and things you can do are a handfull

BristlesAI has great potential and is a highly sought product for furniture refinishers. Its a bit pricey though so I think the features need to be flushed out better to command this price point. I am testing it out with the 7 day trial. The AI generator has not worked for me despite trying numerous pieces of furniture, I get no results. The taping is a bit cumbersome and could use an offset so you can see where the points are getting set. Some of the tool names are not very intuitive and work clumsily. I cant find where to delete a project. Working on layers is not at all what I would expect. There is a lot of guessing on the part of the user as to how to get this to work. An AI background remover would be great. Id love to QA BristlesAI for a free subscription.

I cannot say enough about BristlesAI! I just started using it and love it so much. I was able to do a great mockup of a set of end tables and the end result mirrored the mockup. I found it very user-friendly and I am already planning my next project!

Awesome way to get brain storm your ideas without spending a penny. What was even better was having the ability to even improve on my initial ideas.

Just downloaded BristlesAI and it is stuck on the how did you hear about us page. My phone iOS is up to date.

I have used BristlesAI for over a year and I love being able to show my husband the vision I have for my projects before I start working. BristlesAI is very user friendly and is perfect for flipping furniture or designing spaces.

I flip furniture as a hobby and I work with clients a lot. BristlesAI is perfect for helping me work through different designs to see what I like best as well as for mocking up designs for clients! I’ve found that clients can’t always imagine things in their head so this gives them the ease and comfort of knowing what they’re getting and it comforts me to know they like it before I’ve even created it!!

I’ve been using BristlesAI back when it was just a web browser version and it just keeps getting better and better! The developers are constantly putting out new and improved features that I never even thought about having but make my life easier. They are great at implementing feedback, responding to questions and I am so impressed with BristlesAI’s abilities. In my opinion it is pretty intuitive, there was a learning curve at first like most design apps. But take the time to learn and play with it! I promise you will not regret it!!

I flip furniture and do a lot of customizations, BristlesAI allows me to help my clients decide on color or stain and design and easily edit it to their liking.
It has a learning curve for usage but after a few weeks of using BristlesAI , I think I can consider myself a super user!

Before I had BristlesAI I was using the marker tool on IG to share ideas about paint colors on my pieces and I couldn’t really share that with clients. Really love the paint feature and how I can choose paint colors from a photo. Painter’s tape when I am doing a different color or stain on a row of drawers. Only thing is I want to go straight to changing the colors sometimes, but to get the colors to look right I have to erase hardware first. Is there anyway to make paint go under the hardware automatically? That would be awesome and save me time. Still really helpful comparing options and sharing designs with clients.

It is so great to help lay out your design choices on furniture refinishing or a room make over. I love how you can use everything real colors, hardware, accents etc…. It is easy to use and the short tutorials are so helpful. They listen to feedback and constantly adding in enhanced features. Can’t imagine not having this now to help bring my ideas to fruition.

I absolutely love BristlesAI!! I am a professional furniture flipper and I downloaded BristlesAI to help figure out my designs before starting a project. It is so easy to use and a very fair price. It is also a great way to create mockup designs for clients. I love moving around different types of hardware and really seeing what will look best on my furniture. If you don’t have BristlesAI already you need it!!!

I am loving the Bristles app! There are many great features on BristlesAI but one of my favorites has to be the AI idea generator. It's like having a personal creative assistant at your fingertips, offering a constant stream of fresh ideas wherever I need a spark of inspiration. It has certainly helped me discover design solutions I would have never thought of on my own! This has quickly become a go to app for me when redesigning or setting up a new space!

Bristles is a game changer! I use BristlesAI to dream up designs for future furniture pieces to refinish. It has saved so much time on decision-making when it comes to how a piece will be refinished. I can upload a client’s piece of furniture, digitally refinish it in Bristles and then send to my client so they can see what their piece will look like once completed. They are always adding new features to make it even more precise. You can even let AI design your furniture or room for you! 10/10 recommend!

I’ve been looking for a tool like this for a LONG time. I use this for home design decisions—I can test out a new placement of a picture before hanging, a new furniture arrangement, or new paint color. It’s useful in so many ways—and QUICK. Sometimes I just use it to satisfy my curiosity—what would XYZ look like in this space?
