You have to tap every single image individually and must only hit a specific tiny icon on each image. Same level of tedium as downloading iCloud images via browser on a Windows Desktop. Garbage.
Didn’t work at all for me

Between my iPhone and a PopOS box, no files are being saved. It shows in the history, but the destination file is not written to disk.
