This used to be a great app, but they seem to have switched business models recently and it is now essentially useless. They used to reward you for going to your favorite places, but now you can only go somewhere once and then you get barred from receiving or trading for claims at those places. Instead you get worthless NFTs or $10 coupons to online clothing stores that charge $50 for t-shirts. In the last month I’ve received one such clothing coupon, a “pet rock”, an April Fools joke, and several countdowns that simply lead to nothing. I guess it’s up to you whether you think those kinds of rewards are worth letting Claim scrape all your credit card activity data. It’s also an insanely buggy app. Try proposing two trades in a row and your phone will start to overheat

I downloaded Claim a few weeks ago and it needs some major updates. I have put in my venmo multiple times however it still says put in your venmo on the front page to be connected. It also tells me to link my card which I have done so when I click on it, it’s already done. Customer service is horrible, they aren’t helpful and take forever to respond. They this app the drop is on Thursday however me and all my friends get it on Friday. Lastly there has been twice now where I get the drop notification, click on it, and got nothing. Super frustrating and honestly not worth it.

I used a this app that suppose to refund me $10 on my card but it’s been over a week and have yet to receive my credit. I contacted customer support days ago and have yet to hear back from them(yet they this app to be a small team so idk why it’s taking them forever to respond back). I’m also not a fan of having to link my bank to Claim given that they can go through all of my transactions. Plus I can’t use another card if I wanted to(like I had a gift card but couldn’t use it due to me having to use that card). Long story short, they take forever to give you your credit and customer service is non existent. When I finally get my credit I see myself deleting Claim .

I love Claim for food deals. But when the only options are for some random merch that is $5 off with $25 minimum purchase (for example, a pillowcase), it is a bit useless. Also, you must order directly from the website (most of these items don’t have their own store), so even if the discount covers the item, you usually have to pay $$ for shipping. I have linked my card and shopped at most food places on it, leaving mostly unwanted merch options left - not sure I will be using Claim much longer.

Claim has been a total game changer for getting better acquainted with the local food scene near school for me, and l've loved how easy it is to use! The customer service team is also super responsive any time a glitch comes up, which isn't frequent to begin with. Will be continuing to share Claim with friends too and get them in on all the fun deals this app offers!!

I downloaded Claim through my friend, and it’s been a great way to try new places and save money. it’s nice to get a handful of friends to have Claim and you can schedule hangouts around where your claims are! I would like to see more food/coffee claims as sometimes the merch claims aren’t applicable to myself or what i’m spending money on. overall, I think this is a great app to download as a college student, especially if you’re a foodie or coffee addict like myself!

I've recommended Claim to a lot of my friends and we all really like it. It shocks us that such good deals are available to us for free, but we are really grateful for them! The system is fairly straightforward and the interface works well. Overall, highly approve!

I learned about this app on Tik Tok! And I must say that Tik Tok still has yet to disappoint me! My campus didn’t have access to this app until beginning/ mid summer of 2024, but until then, I’ve remained on the waiting list patiently waiting for that email saying that my campus can utilize it! I have been using this app ever since, saving so much money while also trying different foods on campus that I didn’t want to risk wasting my hard earned money on. With Claim, I don’t have to worry about wasting/ losing money, or only eating foods that I am used to. I can freely be the average college student looking to try all the new restaurants and shops on campus without any worry at all.

this app has been my go-to app for free food ever since I entered college!! What’s so unique about Claim is that it tailors its rewards towards restaurants, chains, and stores that are around your college campus. I’ve been able to discover new places around campus and eat at both new and familiar restaurants without spending a dollar.

I also love how using this app feels like an experience, compared to other apps that just hand out discount codes. You can trade rewards with other users, and Claim also has a “Drop buddy” system where you and a friend can get the same reward so that you can enjoy them together! The whole concept is so user-friendly and fun, I definitely recommend!!

I am a huge fan of this app! Claim gives me coupons for free food around my university — I love the food, and it’s great to try new places. Plus, as a grad student with tight funds, this app allows me to eat out a lot more than I otherwise could! I enjoy trading rewards through Claim and always look forward to the weekly this app reward drops. The this app team is always helpful if I run into an occasional issue.

My only feedback is that this year this app didn’t give out food rewards during the summer (instead it was online merch credits). However, grad students (and some undergrads) are on campus all year round! I’d love to continue getting food rewards in the summer, not just during the academic year :)

i really enjoy Claim! when i’m in DC it’s very helpful and allows me to try out new places! though i wish that for the other/travelling category, there were things in the common category that aren’t shopping! maybe general food chains that may be available in most places?

Put all my friends on it :) it’s a great app for college students honestly. Free food and items without any incentive is actually incredible. Their team is also super nice and hardworking. When Claim was new and I faced some issues, the team was so quick and kind to help. It’s so perfect now!!! Just download, you won’t regret it.

Claim has given me an excuse to try new places around campus! It really allows me to treat myself for free with each this app reward, and they pay you back via venmo with a pretty quick turn around. Highly recommend :)

Not sure how their business model works but I’ve been getting free food so not complaining! Only thing I would change is that they sometimes have rewards for makeup and clothing brands that I have no interest in, but the food rewards are great!

Claim was recommended by a friend and I’ve been the same since. I’m always so excited to see what my reward is for every week. I have recommended Claim to many people and they all give positive reviews back. If you want free things that are close to campus, get Claim!!!

I love Claim. I was very hesitant at first because of providing bank info and I didn’t understand how you could possibly get so many free meals it seemed too good to be true. Claim is designed to expose you to new places by providing you a certain amount to go spend at a new place each week in hopes you will go back again. They give you weekly drops and you have a week to use them. I always look forward to what I will get. The team is very nice and is always thankful for suggestions or ways for improvement. I got to speak with my campus ambassador Jared and he does a great job of explaining Claim and answering any questions. Definitely try Claim if you haven’t already!

this app has been really useful for me! Obviously getting essentially free food is great, but I’ve also really appreciated having a reason to try out new restaurants since I usually just stick to a routine of places I usually go. The trading function also plays a big part in its usefulness.

this app provides rebates for purchases at local businesses and restaurants near campus, as well as some online retailers. Weekly drops of rebate coupons are exciting, and often there are multiple options so you can always choose one you will actually use. It’s a bit scary at first to purchase not knowing if you will be paid back, but the venmo usually comes through within a few days. Anything under the coupon value is reimbursed in full, and anything over is reimbursed the full value of the coupon! A great way to try new places, or get money off on purchases you already make! And what college student can’t resist free food!?

Every week this app drops you a reward to a place you haven’t been. Thursday (Drop day) is my new favorite day of the week because it means free lunch or a shopping trip over the weekend. Love that I can trade anything I won’t use with other people too. Thx devs!

You’ll get rewards as soon as you download Claim . I got a free Playa Bowls purchase for signing up. I used to frequent Playa Bowls when I lived in Cambridge but have not been since moving to NY. Thanks to this app, I went to the one by my office in NY and rekindled my love for their pumpkin smoothie (and may have been back a couple times since hehe). Highly recommend Claim.

this app has the best deals on brands that I shop at, and it’s so easy to use - it’s already connected to my credit card and gives me cash back when I this app a deal.

Also… customer support is truly incredible. The team responds so fast to ever suggestions. This team is shipping updates SO fast. They are going somewhere. Watch this team!!

this app offers deals and “free food/stuff” by Venmoing linked cards. Claim is easy to navigate, the customer support is so quick, and the turn around in transactions is efficient. I’ve never had a hiccup with Claim that hasn’t been resolved in a couple days! Would recommend for those in the Boston area!

I have used Claim for the past 6-7 months and it’s a great way to get rewards near the Campus, discover new brands. And the best part is trading, where you trade rewards with your friends to get something relevant to your need.
Another thing super cool is Venmo being attached to Claim and you getting your rewards seamlessly without having to show any voucher. Must try for everyone!

Claim is great: well-designed, visually appealing and has literally no downsides — you get free food/stuff once a week, always great options. Great customer service. I recommend to everyone!

It would be great if the trade option can automatically be like an option trade to all people who have the wanted item, rather than a 1:1 trade. That is a small detail though. Everyone should have Claim!

I love Claim especially because of how easy to use it is. You have to do barely anything to set it up, and then cash back is just added to your Venmo account. The “trade rewards” option is also great because I don’t eat at all of the places in Claim , and it gives me a chance to change my reward. The quests still need a bit of work, but besides that Claim runs pretty smoothly!

Good app with nice UX. I have used it pretty regularly since the spring and have definitely felt like the discounts and new places/products have been fun and worthwhile. Trading for the rewards you want is definitely the ways to get the most out of Claim. I wish there was a way to propose an open trade to the community (or maybe like a trade bidding process?)— this could make the community trading even more seamless.

I LOVE Claim!! I have redeemed so many rewards for referring friends or receiving rewards from Claim weekly. I’ve explored places around Boston with the rewards I’ve been given and as a student it’s so worth it! I love being able to try different places or even use rewards at restaurants/business I already shop at. Also their customer service is amazing and they truly want the best experience for users of Claim . Highly recommend!

I wish I would have heard of Claim sooner!! As a grad student with little to no disposable income, my weekly this app is what I look forward to every week to treat myself. Claim is so incredibly easy to use and I even had trouble with a this app disappearing and customer support helped me out asap. I cannot say enough good things about Claim and have gotten several of my friends to join as well, we all love it!!
