Dime is the exact thing I have been hunting for for quite a long time and for a bit it was working great. Unfortunately, for the last month it will not open. I have tried deleting Dime and redownloading, restarting my phone, opening it from different places and it immediately crashes as soon as I try to open it.

This would be 5 stars if it would still open Dime but unfortunately since I cannot use it I had to take a couple away.

It wouldn’t be too much to have added the most popular budget in the world, the biweekly budget. But without that and the ability to mark the beginning of a budget period with a balance, Dime doesn’t have the capability to handle full budgeting tasks. Really wanted to support it tho! I’ll stick to my really fancy spreadsheet for now.

I love the simplicity and layout of Dime. The only thing I am missing is the option to add different accounts where I keep my money like cash and bank, and an option to show how I transfer or move money between them. Please add that feature and Dime will be perfect

Dime is super well designed! Very easy to add new transactions and beautiful to look at. I would love the ability to hide/disregard the time when adding transactions because it is often irrelevant and when trying to include past purchases I often don’t remember the exact time I made them at

Love the simplicity of Dime and the UI. The only feature missing is the option to automatically rollover amounts to the next period on a per budget category basis and overall budget. Otherwise awesome app!

I enjoy using Dime to help track my cash and credit spending. I like using it. However, I would enjoy if there was an option to put in a balance, like what money I had originally before the expenses or income.

Usually I don’t leave reviews but tracking expenses app are so complex. I think this one is great and there is only one feature lacking: add the possibility of tracking income as well.

I do really love Dime but I don’t know where or when all my recorded money were gone! I had some records they all disappeared! I had to record them again.

Again I love Dime but hope this bug get fixed. ❤️

I've used lots of budgeting apps, but this app is by far the best. So much customization, a simple user-interface, and it's very easy to add your expenses as you get them. Highly recommend Dime for everyone.

Thank you for free, simple and useful app. I entered my expenses with your app.
One issue is that i have to pay loans each 31 days but there is no option in Dime . We can choose 30 days at the most.

I’ve never felt more in control of my finances. Manually putting in expenses and seeing the spending plots really helps me be mindful of my spending in a way that automatic expense trackers like Mint don’t. I also like not giving out all my financial accounts details to one app.

I’ve tried so many budgeting apps and found them too complicated or expensive, downloaded this and instantly loved the interface, it’s quick and easy to use. Early days so definitely has room to grow but is absolutely a 5 star app

It is beautiful, functional and easy to use. One suggestion is that you should give income feature where person can see how much he is spending in a month and savings he has left after expenditures. It will happen if the user has the option to record its income. Hopefully, it would be implemented soon. Looking forward to that.

Dime is amazing. If you can’t afford the bigger budgeting apps Dime is for you! Dime is very simple and I definitely recommend for newcomers into budgeting and adults that budget. It appears clean and had a minimalist layout and not very complicated. I appreciate the solo-developer.

This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for!! A simple expense tracker, easy to choose the categories (right now I have a giant one called Other but I’m looking forward to breaking that down!), with the bonus of budgets. If you’re the type that keeps meaning to track your expenses, buying a notebook or starting a memo on your phone, and then promptly forgetting of getting overwhelmed, this is for you!!

I downloaded and deleted a bunch of budgeting apps before finding this one! It’s really great, well designed and nice to look at it and, importantly, intuitive! Functional but without being too cluttered or complicated. Great if you don’t need to or want to sync your accounts in real time but also super easy to import csv. Great app!!!

I can’t use the “automated” budgeting tools like Mint and YNAB bc they don’t support my bank. So over the years I’ve tried many different manual solutions. this app has been by far my favorite. It focuses on the essentials, and has such a great UX. It’s so much more impressive when you realize it’s developed by just one person!

I've been using it since the end of last year to track my expenses and oh boy, thanks to Dime I feel so in control of my spendings.

The design is very clean and it's so easy to use. Props to the dev for this useful app and for his quick responses on bug reports.

For starters, it’s free. Like 100%. NO paid subscriptions. And it’s honestly the best one I’ve tried even out of the paid for ones. The creator really thought of everything. It has been helping me cut down and be more aware of purchases. I’m on track to save $800 this month where as before I just kept wondering how the heck I kept spending all my money every month! 🤯 now I can see EVERYTHING, every category , every transaction and I can choose what to focus on which makes me less likely to spend while I’m out. LOVE Dime!!!

I've been looking everywhere for an app like this, and it's perfect!

I've been using Spreadsheets for budgeting, and I'm always told to use a budgeting app. But every one I've used requires connecting a bank account, which I absolutely hate.

I hate combing through transactions, deleting ones I don't need tracked, renaming them, or whatever else.

Dime does none of that. You choose what to name it, what category to give it, what to include and what not to include. It gives plenty of charts and information, without pushing it in your face. There's no subscriptions, ads, or paywalls.

Absolutely perfect.

Finally found a budget app that perfectly fits my needs. I have wanted a very simple budget app that lets me add expenses and categorize them. Having transactions on 5 different credit cards made consolidating all my expenses when they happen in one place difficult. Dime lets me do that with ease.

I tried many of the popular budget/expense tracking apps (YNAB, Mint, etc.) and found them way more in-depth in features than what I wanted. this app is perfect - simple expense tracking with a clean interface! Helped me quickly track how much I was spending on food! I’m sure the developer will continue to add features (which is great!), but the presentation is perfect! Thanks!

It achieves what I want. I’ve use Rocket Money and it doesn’t give me this level of customization that this app gives. The interface is intuitive. In fact, Dime makes budgeting seem fun!

I’ve used a lot of apps and this app is the best one I’ve used. It’s simple and gets the job done. I love that it doesn’t overcomplicate anything. Not to mention the UI and animations are beautiful. I highly recommend anyone use Dime.

This is probably the best budget app i found. I enjoy that it doesn't offer the ability to add income as that seems unnecessary. I do hope that there is a watch app eventually down the road.

If i could change one thing i would remove the requirement of emojis when creating categories.

Also as of right now there was a glitch i was getting where all my entries weren’t populating in the widget.

Aside from that, its a Apollo tier app. I hope the dev continues to improve it.

Works neat. Minimal UI. Developer looked into the iCloud synchronization I reported quickly and patched the issue. It’d be great if you could include an income tab/section in the future.
