This app is clunky at best. The way it monitors text messages is by essentially putting a virtual Mac server on your child’s phone titled Bright Canary-XX. This has caused all kinds of issues with iCloud. It asks for a Bright Canary password which doesn’t exist, so I essentially can’t add my child’s iCloud account to any other devices. I’ve reached out to the Bright Canary support email multiple times over a time period of a few weeks, and gotten no response. There is no other way to get in touch with them. As far as the performance of the app, it doesn’t show all text messages, so you will only see some messages from your child’s phone. Wish I would have never installed this app.

This app worked for 1 day. Then the text monitoring quit working. This will make it so you have to completly delete your Apple ID and erase device in order to use iCloud again.
In response to the support response below, I did reach out to support multiple times, over the course of weeks multiple texts and phone calls, I was not provided a resolution whatsoever, support was not helpful. So, the response of “I should have reached out to support” is invalid. I did exactly that. Do not waste your money on this garbage app.

I tried for a week. It worked for less than a day. I contacted support seeking help. I received a response with actions and a question. I responded and included screenshots. No response. I even asked to extend the trial so I could work with support to try to get it to work but still no response. I would highly recommend not committing to a year with this company unless the solution works for you. Similar to other reviews, customer support is hit/miss.
