I got FlamingoCompliance to track my location for tax purposes. We have homes in both Florida and Minnesota. We just became FL residents. I wanted to be able to easily prove I was out of MN 183 days. I just checked FlamingoCompliance and after only 33 days it is totally wrong. I was in FL 29 days and in MN for 4. It says I was 7 nights in and 26 nights out of my state of residency. I’m so disappointed as I trusted FlamingoCompliance would do what it’s supposed to do. Now I don’t have the easy, accurate records to prove my residency for 2024. It’s too late to start another residency tracking app for this year. What a waste of money. So glad I only paid for a month and not a whole year.
I’ve had FlamingoCompliance installed for at least 8 months and so far it has logged 18 days even though it has permissions to run in the background.
Would now need to go back and update the timeline manually.

I’m starting to travel as a nomad and tried a few tracker apps. I found some a bit invasive privacy-wise. Others checked your photos gps… what if I don’t take photos often? Flamingo was the most promising but I had a few questions regarding my situation and needs. Flamingo’s customer service was fantastic: professional, friendly and super quick. FlamingoCompliance is all set now and I’m ready to embark on my travels with peace of mind. Totally worth it.
Finally what I was looking for! Due to my work, I go from state to state throughout the year and come tax season it’s hard for me to figure out in what state I should file my taxes. With FlamingoCompliance, the headache is gone as it counts my days automatically. I can also easily put in my previous trips to count the times I traveled before I installed FlamingoCompliance . I also like the design and how intuitive it is.
I am not one to leave reviews but I really enjoy this very useful app. I do a lot of international traveling and this really ensures I will not face hefty fines or even banishment for accidentally overstaying a trip. I hike in Europe a few times a year for months at a time and this will ensure I am in compliance. The customer service is outstanding! Thanks!
