Completely Inaccurate

I got this app to track my location for tax purposes. We have homes in both Florida and Minnesota. We just became FL residents. I wanted to be able to easily prove I was out of MN 183 days. I just checked the app and after only 33 days it is totally wrong. I was in FL 29 days and in MN for 4. It says I was 7 nights in and 26 nights out of my state of residency. I’m so disappointed as I trusted this app would do what it’s supposed to do. Now I don’t have the easy, accurate records to prove my residency for 2024. It’s too late to start another residency tracking app for this year. What a waste of money. So glad I only paid for a month and not a whole year.
Doesn’t work in the background

I’ve had this app installed for at least 8 months and so far it has logged 18 days even though it has permissions to run in the background.
Would now need to go back and update the timeline manually.
The core value proposition of the app doesn’t work.

I’m starting to travel as a nomad and tried a few tracker apps. I found some a bit invasive privacy-wise. Others checked your photos gps… what if I don’t take photos often? Flamingo was the most promising but I had a few questions regarding my situation and needs. Flamingo’s customer service was fantastic: professional, friendly and super quick. The app is all set now and I’m ready to embark on my travels with peace of mind. Totally worth it.
