Would be my top choice if not for bugs and lag

This is essentially Things, Structured and GTD jammed into one app which is really nice. It is borderline unusable however, because Yata somehow lags a lot on my iPhone 12 Pro,
every click has a 3s delay before it registers. Please fix it to be responsive and I will subscribe to premium for sure.

Great Concept. Lots is bugs and issues

I love the design, ascetics, and concept but lots of issues with things nor working. I don’t see a way to create a calendar event vs an action item. I can’t sign an event to my different calendars that I pulled in from gmail. I created one project but could was not able to create another project. I then used the iOS shortcut Action to create a new project and it said it was completed but the project does not show in Yata . Needs more polish than I will give it more stars.

Very promising app, but very buggy

Lots of instances of Yata freezing up or prompting me to undo or redo tasks. Feels kind of unintuitive and I’m sometimes guessing whether or not my input has registered.

That said. I do really like Yata . Extremely awesome UI and a simplicity seems to be there. But under the hood there seem to be some issues.

I do love Yata and find it useful though it’s troubling at times.

Nice but….

It is a great app, but I don’t plan to keep for two reasons. When it pulled in reminders, it took all of the sub tasks and made them regular tasks. The calendar is not in the format ui prefer which is a list.

Great app!

Really liking Yata so far! Just what I was looking for. Just cannot figure out how to assign a color to types of calendar events?

Awesome app

Yata exceeded my expectations. I've finally found the "to do" app that works for me. I tried so many of them, but I definitely prefer this one. It definitely has a learning curve to it. I recommend reading the user guide because it helps explain how to use Yata to its full potential. After playing with it more and learning it, it really clicked for me. I'm going to keep using it. Oh and the widgets are great too. I'm going to pay for the pro features because it is only $5 a year. Definitely recommend Yata.

Great job

Great job and looks good to

Potential

this app has potential!!! Increased to 5 star. Worth the cost.

Outstanding

One of the best yet. Keep it up my one and only.

Perfect and free

Thank you random person on Reddit who made this, in a world where even the simplest of apps have a subscription fee, Yata is better than most of it's kind and free

The Best

I literally cannot believe Yata is free! This is the best to do app I have tried – and I have tried numerous over the last year

Finally getting organized

I love how structured yet flexible Yata is. Great for unloading thoughts, then reviewing and organizing/prioritizing them.

One thing I would love, is for the ability to start a Pomodoro timer when working on a task.

I currently use a separate app for Pomodoro, but it would be great to be able to have the timer directly in Yata . (Time tracking to individual tasks would be great too)

Nice app!

I really like how Yata is free and it gives a lot of features. So far everything is great except the custom theme maker is pretty slow and didn’t really work for me.
Update: the theme creator is fine

Yata is a GAME changer.

this app has been the only GTD/Todo app that I’ve been able to stick with. Super fluid, minimal interface with NO ADS. No collection of any personal data. This was everything I was looking for.

Upon opening Yata , you’ll find many highly customizable options and features, shortcuts, widgets, a calendar that you can design to fit your needs, notes sections, timers, and many, many more.

All the widgets, shortcuts, and share sheet options really do set it apart from all other Productivity apps. I’ve replaced the native iOS Reminders and calendar apps with this app.

Thank you for creating this masterpiece :)

Very well made app

Was not expecting very much at all given I found Yata on Reddit and the low amount of reviews but I’m very impressed! There’s many features I wasn’t expecting such as themes or calendar integration that work well. Honestly I just downloaded Yata because of the interactable TODO widget but maybe I’ll look more into GTD. At the very least I will continue to play around with Yata and use it as a todo list! Great job on creating such a well designed and looking app, you deserve more users!

Edit:
Showed Yata to my GF and she has 3 suggestions.

1. A widget for daily view of Next Actions
2. A weekly view for the calendar in Yata
3. Probably a much bigger project but making a web version would be amazing!

I love this app

I found Yata from Reddit, looking for an app I could use for lists, calendar events, and most importantly, show both in a widget. I love how customizable Yata and widgets are.
However, when my phone dies, the widgets reset and will not show my lists or calendars. I might even have to redownload Yata to get them to work again. Hopefully this bug will be fixed soon.
Thank you!!

Impressive

Wish I could find a tutorial on Youtube!! I have tried out every task management app out there and this one is very impressive… it reminds me very much of an app that so many of us all love for its minimalist aesthetics and intuitive design but with much more customization options and a heavier emphasis on the GTD method. I’m astonished that no one is talking about Yata.
