Couldn’t verify my bank?

Mine is very weird. The coupon that I got for Mine didn’t work so I just tried to use it to see what would happen. When I used Mine all of my bank information was correct but they said I had fraudulent activity on my account. First of all, I didn’t even use the account yet. second of all MY BANK INFO WAS ON Mine . You have to pay a fee to even get the card which was fine. But what’s the point of paying the fee if I can’t get the card because my bank couldn’t be verified. After I contacted the customer service they said they couldn’t reverse the decision even though my bank account was connected perfectly fine. They also had to get multiple people to chat with me, the first girl didn’t know how to answer my question even though she seems like one of the developers or something. Overall just seems unreliable. Canceled my subscription and they didn’t allow me to close my account yet so I’ll have to figure that out myself too. Mine doesn’t use credit to approve you either, I already have good credit so I could’ve been approved regardless of credit. This was just a weird app to use and doesn’t show you more than any other app will.

I regret downloading

I thought this would help my credit…. I changed my bank and updated my info in the fizz app one day after the payment submitted. (It hadn’t cleared yet apparently so my account was frozen) the one customer service person was extremely rude, told me my behavior would get me banned and that I wasn’t using Mine correctly so that’s why I saw no results. I simply changed my bank and got a response like that. I’ve worked in business management for years and never have I blamed someone for taking a cash advance and said it was their fault they didn’t like the product. I did nothing but what Mine said till I deleted. This is the WORST customer service I have ever witnessed. I asked for help then was blamed, then I asked to close my account and was told it was my fault that I didn’t like Mine . Well Sam, I can’t use Mine if my account is frozen can I? I had a non frozen account that I used to pay for small bills that were auto drafted out immediately. Then suddenly I changed banks and I’m a horrible person who has bad behavior and can’t use an app correctly. Absolute waste of my time. You’re better off getting a secured credit card or something

Good, but not great

I have been using Fizz for several months now and have overall enjoyed my experince but have a few qualms, especially with Mine . Firstly, it's a line of credit but is labeled as a debit card, despite it not exactly functioning like a debit card. I also find the way it auto-categorizes transactions to be flawed, as I have some subscriptions that have not been flagged as such, and therefore do not receive the 3x points I could be receiving, and there is no way to go in and manually change them or easily request it to be changed. You also need to accumulate 1000 points before being able to redeem them, which I find unnecessarily restrictive. When it comes to getting support, the only option is by chat (no phone option, which is annoying) and I've had to wait hours to days sometimes to hear anything back, so it is pretty evident that their customer support team is lacking in numbers. While I don't regret getting this card, I do think there's a number of improvements that could be made for the customer experience and I hope to see some as the company develops further.

My experiences

I’ve been using the Fizz app for a short while, and overall it’s been a really solid experience. Mine is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and makes managing finances a lot less stressful. I like that it helps build good money habits while also being straightforward enough for someone who doesn’t want to overcomplicate budgeting.

That said, there are still a few areas that could be improved — for example, occasional glitches and some features that feel like they could be a little more polished. But the good definitely outweighs the bad, and it’s clear the developers are focused on creating a useful tool.

If you’re looking for a simple, effective way to keep track of spending and build healthier financial habits, I’d recommend giving Fizz a try.

Building Credit!! But a Slight Glitch

Love the program a lot, got recommended to it by Caleb Hammer and he never disappoints. I’m in high school now but soon college and I want to build credit without putting myself at risk. I’ve learned how to calculate my optimal credit usage, incorporated it with my budgeting, and even used the points system to get money directly deposited! The only issue I’ve had is a continual glitch in regard to my social security number and email registration. Every time I go to verify my email and social security number it never shows on Mine , I’ve tried on multiple devices and at this point I’ve just taken the proverbial “L” and will call customer service. But I’ve been able to use all the features I need and the glitch is minor, so overall great app and great program to learn how to use credit independently and with limited risk!

Great option for credit boosting

I just graduated college with a doctorate and have a ton of student loans. I already had pretty good credit but it wasn’t getting any better regardless what I was doing. This really helped boost my credit, gave me amazing perks (such as points which may be seen as cash back or rewards), and allowed me to use credit without worrying about interest accruing or needing to make the monthly payments! I don’t like using credit cards but this makes it feel like I’m using my debt card while boosting my credit! Also the lessons on investing are amazing because I had very little knowledge on investing. I recommend this to everyone I know, including people who are knowledgeable about finances! It’s so easy and beneficial!

If you a student, you should 100% download Fizz

Fizz is a great student debit card. You get 3x cash back on a categorized purchase that you pick (ex. Entertainment, Restaurants, Groceries, etc.) The Fizz card can help you grow your credit score and you don’t have to worry about a credit card. Another great thing is that Fizz gives you a $500 credit limit (don’t spend to much because you don’t want to get a spending problem lol.) One last thing that made me love Fizz over other debit card competitors is that the money is taken right out of your bank account. You don’t have to worry about the 3-5 business days while your money is moving over. Fizz has many other great things to offer and you should definitely join today!

Best beginner credit card

I've really enjoyed using Fizz as my first credit card. The customer support is excellent and always responsive to any questions I have. The card is very easy to use, with a straightforward app that lets me track my spending and payments effortlessly. I've never had any issues with transactions, so I can use it worry free, knowing that it's reliable. Plus, it's great to know that I'm building my credit responsibly with every/any purchase! And overall, it's been a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Fizz to anyone looking for a reliable and worry free game changer to building credit, I’ve put my friends on and they’re happy to be using it as well (we are all college students) so this has been a pretty reliable.

Best way to build credit as a student

I just discovered this card a few months ago and it’s been a game changer. I was always scared of getting a credit card because of all the fees and interest, but this card is basically like a debit card. They don’t charge you anything but you still get to build your credit. My credit score is already up like 50 points and it’ll probably go up even more. I also love their cash back options. I go to stanford so I get 15% cash back at all the popular spots here. They even did a 90% cashback at a coffee shop one time. If you’re a student and want to build up your credit this card is like a no brainer—you get all the upsides of a credit card but none of the downsides. Highly recommend especially if they launched on your campus

Great rewards

I recently had the pleasure of using the fix Credit Card, couldn't be happier with my experience! From the moment I applied, the process was smooth and straightforward. The customer service team was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and guiding me through the features.

What I love most about this card is its flexibility. The ability to rearrange my payment schedule has made managing my finances so much easier. I appreciate the low-interest rates and the rewards program, which allows me to earn points on every purchase. This card has truly made budgeting more manageable and even enjoyable!

I also want to highlight the user-friendly app that accompanies the card. It provides real-time updates on my spending and helps me keep track of my rewards effortlessly.

Fizz is where it’s at

Hands down, Fizz is the best app for building credit and/or gaining a card without going thru a credit decision process. Mine is user friendly and for those just learning how to properly utilize credit, this card & app will offer you a wealth of knowledge & experience while also providing you protection from doing damage to your credit thru the auto-pay feature. It eliminates the worry of forgetting to pay as well as it helps to build healthy spending habits so that you aren’t going crazy and spending more than you can afford (not to mention the ability to monitor your credit!).

Do yourself a favor and get started on the right foot. Get a Fizz card, use the FREE in-app resources to build your financial IQ, and avoid all of the traps that other cards have that result in you becoming a lifetime servant to interest payments.

Fizz is Helpful and Personal

I joined Fizz because I’ve followed Kyle Prue on TikTok for longer than he’s been promoting Fizz. I saw his commercials and then saw my credit score and said “hey, maybe that will help me”. I’ve had a couple instances where I’ve had to message for assistance, and that process is so easy and personal as well, actually texting with a real person who does everything they can to help and make sure that what they say is accurate. As recent as today, I messaged because I have a balance and my paycheck hasn’t come in as expected and I was stressed that my balance would negatively affect my credit and close my Fizz account. They were able to extend my deadline to accommodate me and they were so friendly and understanding about it. My credit score has improved since using Fizz, and I would give actual stats but I’ve also done other work so I can’t say it was all because of Fizz, but I’ve gained a significant amount of points. As someone who is in debt because of being a dumb kid and also because of debt that I couldn’t really avoid (medical bills sent to collections), it’s very helpful that I can only spend what I have, and that my own money is helping my credit.

Great app!

I’ve really enjoyed my experience with Fizz so far. I use the card for my daily spending and it has helped me spend less and save more while building my credit on autopilot. I also like that I get to choose and change my weekly category for 3x cash back. On every Friday, Fizz has “fizz Fridays” with flash offers at stores — last week I got a free iced latte from Starbucks. Mine allows me to easily check my credit score and lets me know when it changes. The fizz app also has courses similar to Duolingo. The courses explaining job benefits and how to file my taxes step by step have simplified topics that I didn’t understand before. While the card is not metal, I do like the rather aesthetic card and how it can be used with Apple Pay. My favorite app feature is the budgeting which allows me to set personalized spending limits and alerts to keep me on budget.

Fantastic Card for Building Credit and Managing Finances!

The Fizz debit card has been a game-changer for me! As someone looking to build credit responsibly without the risks of a traditional credit card, this card is perfect. It connects seamlessly to my checking account, so I never have to worry about overspending or racking up debt. What I love most about Fizz is its automatic credit reporting. Every purchase I make helps build my credit score, which is an excellent feature for young adults or anyone trying to improve their financial health. Mine is user-friendly and provides real-time transaction updates, making it easy to track spending and stay on budget. Fizz also rewards you for everyday spending, which is a great bonus for a debit card. Their customer service is top-notch, always ready to help with any questions or concerns. If you're looking for a simple, secure, and effective way to build credit while managing your finances, I highly recommend the Fizz debit card. It’s a smart choice for anyone who values financial growth and transparency.

Great for beginning credit!

I am a college student who has never had a credit card or a credit score. In the little over a month that I’ve used Mine, my score has gone from nonexistent to good. It is an extremely useful tool for someone just getting into credit and who perhaps wants a soft launch into credit building and the responsibilities that come with it. That being said, in order to get the card there is a subscription fee. If you are a college student, there is a discount that makes it worth it price wise (I don’t remember exactly what it is but it’s nothing crazy at all). If you are not a college student and are paying full price for the subscription, unless you’re dead set on getting this card, I’d recommended just getting a credit card. It’s too costly on its own. But otherwise it’s great! Would recommend to college students.

It’s a nice training card

Bros I’m not even a student yet but chose to get this card due to me being 21 with no credit established yet and no co-signer to help me get approved for anything else. They taught me how to properly use the card and how to use credit; unlike most cc companies where they just give you a card without any knowledge on how to use it. Im learning that there’s a strategy to using a credit card and I feel like this company actually cares about me to provide free lessons on credit usage. Within 2 months of using this card and paying off on time, I finally have a credit score established!! I also get crazy amount of points that I can spend on many things including transportation. If you are a first time credit card user, or maybe even a “seasoned” credit card user who just needs a card to teach them about how to use a credit card, get this card!!!! It’s a nice training card.

Great credit building card

As a college student, managing my finances has always been a challenge—until I discovered the Fizz building card. This card has been a total game-changer for me! Unlike traditional credit cards that require a credit history or a cosigner, Fizz made it incredibly easy to get started with no hassle.

One of the things I love most about Fizz is that it helps me build my credit responsibly. Since it links directly to my bank account and ensures I only spend what I have, there’s no risk of falling into debt. This has given me the confidence to start building my credit early, which I know will be super valuable after graduation.

Another great feature is the daily automatic payments, so I never have to worry about missing due dates or getting hit with late fees. Plus, the cashback rewards on everyday purchases are a nice bonus—I’ve saved money just by using my Fizz card for things like groceries and coffee runs.

Mine is super user-friendly, and I appreciate how transparent Fizz is with everything. They don’t charge any hidden fees, which is a huge relief compared to some other financial products out there.

Overall, I’d highly recommend the Fizz building card to any college student looking to establish credit without the risks of a traditional credit card. It’s easy to use, financially smart, and genuinely built for students. I only wish I had found it sooner!

Fizz review

Fizz is hands down the best app for students. It’s an awesome space where students can stay connected, express their thoughts, and share moments without any pressure. What makes Fizz stand out is how it feels like a tight-knit community, tailored specifically to student life. Whether I’m catching up on campus news, sharing a funny meme, or just browsing through relatable posts, it’s the perfect break between classes. The anonymity feature also allows for open conversations, which can sometimes lead to the most entertaining or insightful discussions!

One of the best parts is how quickly Mine grows and adapts based on what students actually want. I enjoy it so much that I decided to take it a step further and become a campus marketing intern for Fizz. It’s an incredible opportunity to not only use Mine but also help expand it on my campus and connect with even more students. Fizz has truly become an essential part of my college experience!

A Must-Have for college students

So I’ve been using Fizz for a while now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best tools out there for students who want to take control of their finances. Mine makes it so easy to track spending at a glance, create budgets, and even check your credit score. It’s designed specifically for students, so the features are tailored to the kinds of financial challenges we face, so that’s a huge bonus.

One of my favorite things about Fizz is how simple it is to set up budgets linked to your actual bank account. Plus the credit score feature gives me peace of mind without having to worry about paying for a separate check that doesn’t do a hard pull.

I also enjoyed Fizz so much that I decided to become a campus marketing intern for them to help spread the word to other students at my school! I genuinely believe Mine is a game change that every student should check out. The habits built during college can and will easily translate into better financial habits after graduation. High reccomend!

Get Fizz, easiest way to obtain credit for students!!

As a college student, it can so be so hard to get a good credit card that has cash back offers, low interest fees, etc. This is not the case with Fizz. Once you sign up for Fizz and put in all of the needed information, you automatically get the card right away with Apple Pay. It connects to your bank account so it helps prevent overspending, there are no interest fees, and no hard check on your credit. In the end, there is ZERO harm in this card, it only helps you earn credit and save money and different restaurants/shops around your college campus. Mine is very user-friendly and it shows you how to navigate throughout the different feature of Mine . Also, you can’t forget to pay your bill because there is an automatic system that pays it every night. I HIGHLY recommend Mine!!

Stay away! This card is a joke. They pushed through a charge almost a week later. They say same day transactions. Way far from same day, causing my bank account to go negative and incur a fee. Fraudulent transactions that they were no help in disputing. Causing another $80 plus bank fees to make my account negative again. I told them to cancel account, and since I asked to cancel they have pushed through their fee twice. At this point I feel like I need a new bank account just to get rid of them!
