YMOBD simply goes through an endless loop of trying to connect to the recommended scanner. Even bought a second scanner in case that was it but YMOBD still does not work. But I can use another OBD2 software product which works just fine. So it isn’t my hardware. It is the this app software that does not work.

E-Mail is not coming to any of my mailboxes,gmail,yahoo,local hospital…. So can’t even say if device is working or not

Tried with two different vehicles. The first one connected immediately - prompted me to update firmware, completed process, asked to restart, and nothing. No support to reach out to on app either. Will return item to AMZ.

All I want is a OBD-II scanner but you require I run this software to use it. Why do you require my location in order to work? Invasion of privacy. Returning the dongle and removing YMOBD .

It provides a lot of extremely useful information about your vehicle and it even breaks it down to better understand everything. I just wish that it stored everything to compare over a span of time to be able to better understand how your vehicle is running. I also wish that you could open YMOBD and it would gave a summary of everything about your vehicle from first using the device up until most recently, without having to be connected and the vehicle running.

Got the dongle at Temu for under $5.00, and YMOBD for free.
It’s been very helpful, easy to use.
I had a little problem with the initial pairing but it was related to the new dongle not making a good connection. I had to push it hard the first few times. Now it’s no longer having that issue.
YMOBD provides a lot of helpful diagnostics information, even in realtime.
Years ago I bought a $100 dongle called Automatic, which only provided DTCs. Then they decided to discontinue it, and would no longer worked. The only choice was to subscribe to their service. No way.
So I didn’t have a dongle until now. And this dongle-app team it’s much better than the toy I used to have.

I love YMOBD , works great. I couldn’t find anywhere to put feedback, so I’ll put it here. Could you add a landscape function in the dashboard, at the moment, it’s just portrait mode?

I really don't understand what everyone's issue is. YMOBD is amazing. You can view your fuel consumption, throttle position, intake temps, coolant temps, even the temperature of your catalytic converters.
The people giving it 1 star I just think don't know what they are doing.

Easy to get App up and running. Took just a few minutes for OBD reader to initialize, perhaps 3 minutes at most. Reader and app quickly found the faults I was chasing. I am not a shill, but we are buying one of these readers to keep in all of our vehicles’ gloveboxes.

I would like to see a “run in the background” feature, as well as a weekly report of diagnostics available, maybe sent in an email, or a setting for another duration. A lot of great information, but only while your driving, I’d like to be able pull it up, like at the end of the day, away from the vehicle.

So must be fixed – no issues with email like previous review said.

Codes were spot on for an issue I was previously told my car had.

And an additional one I didn’t know about.

Overall very impressed.
