Dr. Irene Cornell Plan

I called in on September 13,2024 to be treated for symptom of Poison Oak on both my legs and forearms. She stated she informed me politely she first ask me to send a picture of the area which I uploaded in RecuroCare once she received it she said she would treat but i needed to see my physician but I felt like she really didn’t want to because of the sound of here voice. She stated that I had three rounds of steroids in the last six months for treatment of the same symptoms. She stated that I did not like what she said but that not the truth, I stated I already had a appointment with my doctor next week Tuesdays and I would just wait till then and itch all weekend. I told her I had steroid cream and was already using it. She stated I was aware of the plan which is no plan it have never had issue before any others time I have called in for this and was treated with no issue. I have seen doctors prior for the same issue by my physician and other doctors I don’t now why I’m so allergic to poison ivy/oak but I am. I will not be requesting any treatment again from telemedicine I do not like the way the manner the way the doctor acted.

Licensed Health Insurance Agent Here

Hi, I am a licensed health insurance agent and have been selling benefits products to employers for 13 years.

I would not recommend this product. Recuro Health was presented to us by a vendor due to MDLive’s increase cost. Recuro saved our groups $1.50 per employee. November 2022 was the first we enrolled ourselves and my experience from the onboarding to the physicians has been absolutely horrible.

Recuro service reps and onboarding teams are not familiar with our state abbreviations and incorrectly assigned our group to a different state. The physicians are subpar. I’ve personally had experience with both MDLIVE and Recuro and I will not recommend Recuro to any of my groups. This is embarrassing for me with my own group. We will change at renewal.

No harm but no help either

I had an infection called and they prescribed Flonase didn’t realize it the next day I called for another appointment told the Dr my wife and someone else I’ve been around had an infection and I’m not young I know the difference between allergies and an infection she wouldn’t prescribe anything except allergy meds
I rated everything as a 1 star they text back and said they would call guess what? They never called
I went to care now guess what? Yes I was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection (as I told your doctors) and this will blow your mind but they actually gave me antibiotics
So in conclusion if I ever need a prescription for Benadryl I’ll be sure and call otherwise don’t expect to hear from me again

Dr did not listen to the patient

After explaining symptoms and what I have knowingly been exposed to, Dr said he would prescribe amoxicillin. I told him I have a resistance to this form of penicillin, as do most people by now, but he refused to prescribe Augmentin. 6 days later still sick, will have to go in person tomorrow for treatment. This attempt for convenience of treatment was a waste of time and MONEY. My money. Dr gets paid but patient is still sick. Not worth it.

Just go to the emergency room. Ends up saving time

The last few visits with WellVia on the phone have led me to get the wrong things prescribed because they don’t listen to patient input and then I end up having to take my child to the minor ER anyways after getting misdiagnosed. It’s not hard to get misdiagnosed when you know your kid has a sinus or ear infection, but the doctors refuse to prescribe antibiotics after the patient has tried to over come for a week with symptoms still. Just go to the minor ER and it actually saves time and money in the long run because you aren’t buying excess prescriptions that don’t treat the root symptom.

Horrible service

Requested a doctors note during initial phone visit request. Was not informed that I might or might not quilfy for note depending on Doctor. But he was able to prescribe me medicine without seeing me?
That doesn’t make sense to me.
How can a doctor prescribe me medicine to take from what I say verbally/not seeing me, but can’t give me a note from what I say?
Isn’t that the same thing? Sounds more to me like oh, I’ll prescribe u a drug/medicine but I’m not giving you a note to cover for missing work. How does that even make sense? Guess they would rather me go to work and chance getting others sick.

Customer service

Charlotte in customer service is a rude person and hung up on me because I argued with her about your records that the doctor “tried” to call me back 3 times after I told her several times I have no missed calls or voicemails from the doctor. She hung up on me, I called back and got Charlotte again and asked her why she hung up on me and she said I was being rude. She then asked if I wanted a refund, I told her yes and she rudely said bye. You need to retrain her on customer service and how to treat people that are probably paying her wages.

The incompetency is noticeable

Recuro is basically off-brand teledoc so expectations are pretty low to begin with. It’s nice to have phone or zoom appointments, but there are issues.

I started with a specialist who was pretty clearly just trying to check boxes during our brief appointment. Then she just didn’t show up for my follow-up appointment (which I needed to get a refill).

I was able to connect with another doctor pretty quickly to get my refill. But then months later I discovered that he had been putting the wrong diagnosis in my chart at every appointment.

So now my apparently unchangeable medical records have me diagnosed with something I don’t have. And while I’ve been receiving the correct medication for my actual condition, this doctor apparently never noticed that he’s prescribing something that’s not appropriate for the diagnosis he’s using.

And every time I need a refill, I have trouble with Recuro and cvs connecting so I have to chase it down. That could be a cvs problem though.

I’m not sold.

This is provided by my job. Tried to set up a telemedicine appointment for my son so I didn’t have to leave from work. There are no appointments available today next one is tomorrow, but!, if I wanna pay then they will get a phone call started. Seems like a bait and switch Car lot tactic. “24/7 availability “ only if you pay extra.

Very helpful

This works great when you don’t have the time/funds to head into the doctors office. I just wish they would allow photo uploads like other healthcare apps so they could see rashes, pink eye, bug bites etc. that is why I dropped to 4 stars vs 5.

Selling ketchup popsicles..

7-10 days…..
not actual… time line.

Did my at home labs on the 2nd.
The DNA one was the first one..
the A1c panel and so on, came about 10 days later.

I only got my results- for the A1c panel of blood work after calling on the 25th as to why I haven’t gotten anything back yet.

They said.. oh we just received them yesterday.. how ironic.
All of a sudden my A1c panel of lab results were ready the next day…
But, they said they received the dna panel on the 20th.. which would have made it a 17-18 day travel time for the specimen to get to Texas, from ca.

Not impressed-
And still… waiting for the dna panel.

Seriously questioning the services here-

Help setting up my account

The customer service agent was very helpful. She talked me through the process of setting up my account and was very empathetic to my needs.

First Timer

This is the first time using this technique and I am so far very grateful for the convenience.
I hope the rest of the process goes as smoothly as this part has gone.

Wonderful staff and quick response to my needs

I am a new patient to Recuro Health and I truly couldn't be happier with their services. Not only has everyone that I have spoken to been pleasant but also efficient and knowledgeable. I only have high hopes that all my care will be taken care of. I just started using their new counseling therapist Summer and hope to see her on a regular basis to help with my life coping skills and from the first minute I felt very comfortable with her and felt my needs would be met. She truly felt like a friend when I so desperately needed one. Thank you to the Recuro staff for everything!

Terrible app

RecuroCare is horrible. Of you make a mistake you have to start over instead of being able to correct it. Ha, I can’t even tap on a star to rate it. Maybe it’s because I’m not hitting an acceptable star rating.

Physician not sympathetic at all .

I used Recurro because my daughter had been up most of the night crying because her ear was hurting . The doctor was not compassionate at all and I told the doctor she is prone to ear infections and he said to take her to the doc. It was a complete waste of time and very disappointing .

Great answer

If any of you have issues with your request like the status jumping from in review to complete it might be an error with the system. I had assumed after thirty minutes that the doctor just wasn’t going to call but then when the system reset he gave me a call. So don’t jump to conclusions like me and maybe wait a little longer. Anyway, his answers were so helpful! Saved me time, money, and worry

Recuro has been the biggest blessing to my family.

My employer give us access to Recuro through Fresh Benies “not insurance.” My husband and I had been trying to get therapists for 6 months locally. Within two days of setting up my Recuro account, we both had an appointment with a therapist scheduled. I’m so grateful for the service Recuro provides. For my employer, and for my amazing therapist.

Absolutely Amazing

I’ve had this service for a few years, never used it, however these last few months this has saved me time energy and money! I’ve had to call 3 times and all 3 times the service has been extremely fast, professional and I have always been heard! I highly recommend!

Support and doctor were super nice!

I called support because I was having issues getting logged in, and the person I spoke with was wonderfully pleasant! Same with the doctor I was connected with. She gave me some important words of encouragement about was I was inquiring about and also took the time to explain to me the different treatments, reasoning, etc. Very much appreciated!

Trouble Opening This App

I have been using the Recuro Care app for almost a year and I am now having trouble opening RecuroCare. I called yesterday to report trouble even after deleting and re-adding RecuroCare to my phone. I have received assistance so far and I am becoming concerned. I think something there is wrong. I am not able to confirm or schedule new appointments. I need assistance.

Very quick service

Called and got registered. My app wasn’t working and now it is they took my information and didn’t take long for the doctor to call diagnose me and get my prescription in very professional. Listen to my details and now I’m feeling a lot better.
