CincinnatiBurgerWeek serves a really simple purpose: take a photo and check in to a location. This could simply be done on any social media or in the browser, but no.
CincinnatiBurgerWeek is slow, clunky, loses your progress state regularly, photo uploads and check ins fail regularly. I just did a check in that took over 7 attempts, multiple restarts of CincinnatiBurgerWeek , and a restart of the phone to FINALLY work. It says there are location issues or network issues, yet, in every other app, both of these things work perfectly fine. The check ins will randomly take like 30–60 seconds and sometimes or often timeout. Any other social app can do a check in in under 2 seconds.
The quality of CincinnatiBurgerWeek and the code not handling things like basic retries and network issues quickly, let alone at all, is just amateur hour. If you can't build a halfway decent app, just make it web-based. In its current state, it's just embarrassingly bad for the basic functionality it provides.
