Where do I even start

They don’t answer the phone. The computer voice is not helpful, when someone did decide to answer the phone and it was a like a miracle that a live person answered I gave them my prescription details and then I even spoke to another agent and told that agent my prescription details too. Well guess what the glasses arrived after a couple weeks and my left and right lenses were vice versa.. They done the strengths for the Wrong eye….all backwards. Left was for right and right was for left. Note this was my first order and they messed it up. How could 2 agents not make sure I was getting what I asked for. Then when I tried returning it says sorry your order is not eligible for returns. Only exchanges. After they told me that if I’m not happy or whatever I can get a full refund. These people lie. After trying to get a live person again which took several hours of calling and talking to a computer I finally spoke to a woman and she sent me a return label after I explained how they messed up the glasses by dosing the lenses vice versa. So I’m still waiting for my refund. I refuse to trust this company and the prescription sunglasses were NOT even clear, I could see a reflection of myself when outdoors in the sun. Just like I do when I buy the cheap sunglasses from cheap stores. Don’t waste your MONEY OR time here.

Terrible - they don’t answer the 800 number

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses today and uploaded a new prescription and I just realized when I read the confirmation email that they are using my old prescription. This is the second time this has happened. I called to alert them and I couldn’t get through their automated system to a human. I wound up communicating with their chat bot and have no idea if it understood the issue or if it will be resolved. The first time it happened I kept the glasses because I could use them to see my computer screen but they are not strong enough for distance. I do not need 2 more pairs at the old prescription. It’s ridiculous that you cannot get anybody on the phone. I will not do business with Glasses USA again.

Customer Service

Their customer service currently is awful. I hv ordered several glasses in the past. I ordered sun glasses that arrived without my Prescription & with no order number so hv been unable to return GUSA can’t find that order. My credit card was charged but it has been deducted due to no service from GUSA I ordered another pair of sunglasses I was charged for them but they can’t find my order even with order number. I will hv my credit card deduct the charge again. Disappointed because service in the past was great. Be aware I’ve been scammed.

Can’t certify email

I signed up for an account through GlassesUSAcom . After creating my sign in credentials I was prompted to verify my email. When I went to my inbox to verify through the link that was sent I was redirected to GlassesUSAcom itself and the same page I had just left asking me to verify my email. Closer GlassesUSAcom . Left and reentered: tried multiple diff ways. But back to the same page asking to verify my email - in essence a giant loop. I copy and pasted the website link to verify my email that way and was able to se my name and account info on a desktop but still unable to use the phone app.

Waste of Time

Heads up. There’s absolutely nothing you can do to order prescriptions eyeglasses from this company. I tried the website and it didn’t work. Then I downloaded their app, still nothing. Finally I called and got a great customer service agent. I sent him my script and he placed the order with great discounts and expedited delivery. Nope. 2 days later I received an email saying they needed my script to start the order. Blah blah blah, now I wait 10 days for a refund. I have ZERO idea how they rated over 4 stars. Lesson……. read the reviews with the high rating. I feel sorry for the employees. You can tell that they know they can’t help. Just awful!!!

Equivalent to buy glasses from a thrift store

Bought two pairs of glasses, with the warranty. They sent me used glasses, the arms were hyperextended and there were scratches on the lenses. I returned the glasses, checked the tracking number that it was received, no refund. It’s impossible to get anyone from customer service to reply to emails. The 1800 number is just a loop of recordings that takes you back to the website. The live chat is a robot, and sometimes there’s not a even a keyboard for you to type in anything. You have to choose the options they give you. I had to dispute with my bank to try and get to get my money back. Honestly, Temu has better customer service.

Please Read Before You Buy!

I wish I could say I had a positive experience with Glasses USA, but unfortunately, that has not been the case. I’ve given this company multiple chances, and each time has been a disappointing journey filled with frustration.

First and foremost, the customer service is shockingly poor. I encountered constant delays with my orders, which only worsened due to items being out of stock without any prior notice. Communication has been a major issue as well; it feels like reaching management is nearly impossible, and when you do, the responses are vague at best.

I was promised timely deliveries and compensation for my troubles, but nothing materialized. It seems like empty promises are their specialty, and I never received the courtesy of an apology or any resolution. Each time I chose to give them my business, I was met with the same disheartening set of issues.

If you value your time and money, I strongly advise against using Glasses USA. Save yourself the headache and seek out a provider that truly values their customers and can deliver on their promises.

DO NOT BUY

I had an extremely frustrating experience with this company and would strongly advise against ordering from them. I paid for my contacts, only to be informed later that my prescription doesn't allow me to use the specific brand I chose. When I requested a refund or exchange, I was flatly denied. They sent me an email with a link to pay extra for an exchange, but when I clicked on it, the link required me to pay full price with no discount. I've called multiple times for assistance, but no one has answered, and I still haven’t received a refund or credit to switch brands. DO NOT order from this company! The lack of customer service and deceptive practices are outrageous.

App is bogus

GlassesUSAcom is absolutely useless. I have already created an account on their website & after downloading GlassesUSAcom I entered my email & was told to check it for a link to login. It came but when I clicked I was sent back to the same screen where I entered my email address. It never let me login & it won’t let me create an alternate account since I only have the one email & it’s already registered. CS is a joke too. I stated my problem in a chat, the guy told me to clear my cookies & cache on my browser & try again. How does that help with an app issue? He then closed the chat as soon as he said it so I couldn’t respond. The other person was better but her ideas to uninstall GlassesUSAcom , restart my phone & reinstall did not help. I’m still having the same issue. Just use the website!

Worst experience

I took a photo of my prescription and sent it in and received glasses that I could not see out of and I had my eye doctor check them and they made them all wrong so then after reading that they have a 14 day moneyback guarantee no questions asked I struggled and never spoke with a human being because there is no phone number to call and get help to get my glasses returned. so they send me a store credit and I’m stuck buying another pair with them and I spent more money on this second pair than the first one somehow with the store credit, I swear to God, I will be calling my bank and canceling these charges if they send me another wrong prescription pair because there’s no way to get them to refund you I did double check the prescription in the order info it was correct. They made them wrong.

Buyer beware!!

So I had great hopes for these guys but all I’ve gotten so far is regrets. Several weeks ago I ordered a designer pair of glasses after about 10 days I received an email saying that my order was shipping, then 5 days later my order showed up at my door (not bad, a bit more than 2 weeks to make and ship). The only problem was what arrived was not my order. They shipped me someone else’s glasses. First of all they make it VERY hard to actually talk to someone. When I finally got to talk to someone, and spending quite a bit of time explaining the situation, they were more interested in me returning the wrong glasses than making sure I get my order. I asked to speak to a Supervisor but still haven’t heard back from them (3 days ago). As of this point I have no idea what’s going on, if I’ll get my glasses or if I’m just out of $300. All I can say at this point is DONT WASTE YOUR $$$$

Never use this company!

I’ve never left a negative review on a company but this place so far is a scam. First I made an or in February. The order said 3 days for production. 15 days later still not done. Contacted them multiple times and the same generic response “your glasses didn’t pass our quality control and we are having them remade” 20 days later I contact and tell them I just want my money back. They send my order to their returns department I get everything in order for a refund, said it would take 3-5 days, 3 days later they contact me begging me to reorder and get a discount instead of getting my money back and that they would put the glasses into urgent production and upgrade shipping. After them begging I said ok. Got a new order number and it said 3 days, now at day 10, no money back, no glasses, and guess what their response was, “sorry about this but your glasses didn’t pass our quality control” literally the same exact word for word answer as the last time. Definetly do not order from this place!

List / scroll broken on Iphone 11

GlassesUSAcom fails to keep track of where you were in a list of glasses, making it impossible to use for more than a few minutes without getting frustrating. Rather than return to where you were, it just jumps back to the top. What’s the point of having 1000 pairs of glasses if you only ever see the first few in the list? Honestly this is such basic functionality that I wouldn’t be surprised if this loses them millions of dollars in revenue. They should pay me for this review.

Don’t buy warranty

I’ve used glasses USA a couple times within the past 4-5 years. Never had a problem with their shipping or prescription. But don’t buy the warranty as it is a complete waste of your money and time. I got scratches in my glasses and when I sent it out, I gave them the tracking number so they can process my exchange but they went completely MIA on me. I’ve tried multiple agents on their live chat and tried to email customer care but keep getting automated emails that a customer care member will reach out to me with a ticker number. It’s been 3 weeks since I sent my tracking number and 2 weeks since my glasses got delivered. All the live agents had told me they’ll put my issue as a top priority with the returns team and yet a single returns member has bothered to reach out via email. I’ll keep buying glasses from them since they have good deals but never again will I purchase their warranty since I’ve been getting screwed over for far too long.

Not very user friendly

GlassesUSAcom is a great concept and has an organized layout. Although, I absolutely hate the fact that every time I try to filter the search it freezes up, causing me to close and reopen GlassesUSAcom until it eventually works. Also, GlassesUSAcom automatically attaches the worst available coupon they offer onto your order. So, if you’re not aware of the best available coupons you’ll end up spending more money than you should.

For example: I added 2 pairs of prescription glasses to my cart and it automatically attached a 30% off coupon. 30% off is awesome—but only if you don’t know about their buy one get one free offer… so if you get GlassesUSAcom make sure you research the best offers to save a lot more!

Overall, I like GlassesUSAcom just enough to continue using it, but I’ll also use other eyewear apps as well. GlassesUSAcom isn’t the greatest out there, so it’s definitely not really competing with other apps that have the same concept.

App is awful, but the company is good

Every time I try so use the “live try-on” feature, it asks me to upload a photo. Every time. It does not retain my photo for future use. Also, the live try-on feature uses your face online in real time, and it won’t do that on GlassesUSAcom . You’re better off using the website, even though those features are still spotty there.

Wrong glasses sent

I ordered a very expensive pair of glasses from glasses USA and they were supposed to be progressive lenses but when I received them they were reading glasses I would like a further discount on the glasses I have ordered from them today. They are the same glasses I hope you get them right this time and send me a discount for the inconvenience that you caused me and apply it to this pair ei: Versace

Amazing

I went in to an eye doctor randomly to ask if they could read my prescription as I didn’t know what it was. The office said it couldn’t. Went online and found GlassesUSAcom. They got the prescription right and I got a nice pair of glasses for about 40 bucks that I only use when I drive. Very impressed to find another way to live my life using online services.

Never buy prescription glasses or sunglasses elsewhere

I am a VERY happy customers … and I tell others to use the prescription scanner and order lenses here online …Reasonable prices high quality lenses and express delivery… never buy my prescription glasses or sunglasses elsewhere… for the past 10 years... I have even bought my prescription contact lenses from here :) it’s great!!!

Excellent!

I was skeptical to buy so I purchased an extremely cheap pair. I was totally blown away with how perfect they fit and the prescription was by far as great as my eye Dr. I just received my second pair which I upgraded to and am so happy with my purchases. Thank you Glasses USA!
