I’ve only had ERCompanion a few weeks but whenever I check, there’s a new update with better interface or just new stuff all together. I greatly appreciate how quickly the dev team works to constantly keep ERCompanion up to date and how smooth their UI is.

If I could give some new update ideas I’d ask for a better search in the map so we don’t have to be perfect, but overall ERCompanion is amazing and I love it!

The interactive map is fantastic and the check list is handy, but that’s about all it the is. The only useful thing behind the pay wall is the build planned. The rest leaves much to be desired. I wouldn’t spend money to unlock the additional features. I did once saw a guide section and there’s only one boss and a bunch of quests and that’s about it. I was hoping for a walkthrough or at least all the bosses. Even just the main once. The free version gets you pretty much all you need out of ERCompanion.

ERCompanion is a necessity if you are a completionist or if you just want to see what you missed.

I was originally looking for an app to keep track of quests and I came across ERCompanion. It didn’t have a way to track quests at the time, but it is extremely useful. I was about to write my review and suggest to add a quest tracker, but then they added it in an update!

I recommend ERCompanion to anyone playing Elden Ring.

If you’re a completionist this is the best app out there. UI could be slightly more user friendly but once you figure it out it gets the job done. A few minor things…

* What I want the most, is a option to have different salable profiles for map completion. I want to play a new character, but I don’t want to lose what I know I’ve completed on my main. This is super frustrating, and the reason for 4/5 stars. If this was updated, I would quickly edit my rating.

* I wish there was a option to link to the guide for quest from the map menu, rather having to back out and then search for the quest line.

* When zoomed out on the map, it can get a little crowded fast.. it would be nice to have a grouping option, where maybe it’s one circle that shows a number in it based on how many markers are in that grouping.

The in app purchases aren’t easily navigable. After developer contacted about previous review they specified there were multiple tabs of the in app purchases for specific apps. The subscription is if you’d like to use multiple apps by them. It’s still be nice to have all features unlocked with ERCompanion without purchases and have a lifetime purchase as well as a single app with all the companion apps combined and be able to select with maps and features to add from there.

At first when I started playing Elden Ring. Reading this map was a tad bit confusing. Considering this is my first souls game. But after a month or two playing it. This has become a very helpful tool. Especially the search bar on here. I need an item and searched for it. ERCompanion showed me all the locations and the description on where the item was placed.

I known ERCompanion is in development, but so far is really great it have a few bugs and the map sometimes to select something is really hard cause there some places that the items at really close and select them is difficult, but its great i paid the monthly subscription for the build and that, and is really good.

ERCompanion is amazing and has given me so much info that would’ve been a way to tedious to get otherwise from online videos, but as I’ve gone through areas I’ve noticed that a lot of items are missing off the map including high-level ones that should be on there. ERCompanion is honestly a game changer and I can’t wait to see it get better as it gets updates

ERCompanion was working great but now the lower level/underground map no longer renders icons, text, or any of the features. It’s basically useless for those levels. I have the latest release, reset map filters, closed and restarted ERCompanion .. and rebooted my iPad, but it just doesn’t show anything. The same is happening on the MacOS version.

It doesn’t even render the names of the regions underground.

I recommend this all for any and everyone playing Elden Ring. ERCompanion works wonderfully and the check list is simple and effective.

My only request and critique is to add fextralife links or descriptions of what is need or required for items and quests. If it was detailed enough I would not mind paying $20 or more for it.

I fixed my review after the developer let me know you can purchase ERCompanion for a one time fee and not a subscription. I immediately purchased and deleted my negative review. I’m only doing 4/5 because there is no option to create profiles to track your progress on multiple characters. Amazing app and I recommend it to everyone who plays the game.

Something I recommend that would be helpful is adding a quick description of where the “item” is when you tap on the icon, such as (spoiler) “To the left of the Pumpkinhead at the end of Castle Morne’s entrance”.

Another recommendation is to put a white outline on every icon so we can see it clearer.

For having so much, when the game is still relatively new, is impressive. But it’s still missing a noticeable amount of stuff and there should be an option to fade or even remove discovered items. Also need an option on the filter to select/deselect all items. All in all it’s a work in progress but still extremely helpful 👍

I have been wanting something like this to mark my progress as well as make sure I am thorough with my exploration. I love ER, probably in my top 5 favorite games. As with other souls games, From does not really explain much however their previous games were very linear so… with ER it sooooo massive, and I hate tracking things using the markers. Perfect app! Thanks

ERCompanion actually helps even with the free version you can find almost everything I don’t know how much better it is with the monthly subscription but even without it ERCompanion has made finding and leveling up so much faster

Great so far but I find it a bit clunky when you want to make a note to yourself about a location or item you want. It would be nice to add notes to the map or at least a notepad function that you can type quick notes to yourself in. Otherwise, super detailed and impressive.

Look I know a lot of the hardcore souls fans will say it’s cheating, but look. I don’t want to keep coming back to the same place wondering if I missed something!

If you’re trying to get anything done or you’re looking for that competitive edge this is it everything you’ll ever need I’ve been playing souls games since demon souls and something like this would’ve been a game changer back in the day.

Well done app. Has all the features I needed. I went for the unlock to have more usage of it and was worth it. (Edit: almost every week I’ve seen updates with improvements, nice to see a developer care about their app and how it’s used)

I love being able to checklist my open worlds and this makes it super simple. My only suggestion is making the close together pips easier to press the one you want. It’s difficult sometimes with my fat fingers.

Great way to track your progress and not miss items. I would like to see a higher resolution map added in the future. It can be challenging to make out landmarks when zooming in.

I would also pay a one-time price of $5 to $10 to unlock ERCompanion without ads. I understand there is a subscription-based option, just saying that I think others would prefer a one-time purchase option.

This is the quintessential Elden Ring progression tracking app. ERCompanion is very similar to the BOTW companion app which is also a must have for completionist. Every rune, golden seed and weapon is addressed in ERCompanion. If you’re going for a 100% run you NEED ERCompanion

As the only app that does this right now, it’s surprisingly full, still missing a few items and locations but not enough to constitute me rating it under 5 stars. Keep it up!

Great work, please continue making ERCompanion great! Some suggestions: add descriptions and graphics of the different bosses, etc. I understand that’s a large undertaking, but it’d make app really stand out!

Easy to navigate and extremely helpful for logging progress.

elden ring just came out and for the amount of content ERCompanion already had it’s impressive. of course, its not as dense as other games’ guides yet but i imagine it will eventually get to that point. like adding more item descriptions and stuff like that. but so far a really great guide app without spoiling too much of the game.

Randomly looked up ER apps and this one is out early as ever! Love it and it helped a ton!
