NurseWallet is really neat and has a lot of potential for nurses. I don’t like that you have to put the facility into the calculator. Almost every time I open NurseWallet, there is a part of it that glitches. Sometimes it won’t let me edit my monthly income, other times it won’t submit shifts I’ve added towards my goal. I would give it 4/5 stars if it ever worked.

App hasn’t worked in weeks. Always crashes within minutes of opening it. I’ve tried everything to reset the application with no luck of being able to use it.

App will not calculate take home pay based on what you input. The survey pops up every time I try to use NurseWallet and no matter how many times I fill it out, the pop up still comes back. From other reviews, this has been going on for a few months for users. I’ve emailed the company and reached out on social media apps to see if they can fix it with no response.

NurseWallet has the potential to be amazing, but it is so glitchy. I did the entire process of putting in my pay, doing the survey, entering all of my shifts, and NurseWallet just keeps saying “Oops it looks like something didn’t calculate correctly in our end”, and directs me to retake the survey. I have redone the survey numerous times, deleted and reopen my account, contacted customer support, who said to do the same thing, and even tried using a different email as a new account. Regardless, it always does the same thing and can’t calculate any values. After weeks of trying, it’s infuriating because NurseWallet could be great and so useful with some repairs and changes to features (I.e. ability to edit the investments and debts rather than autopopulating). Hopefully something gets done to fix this and make NurseWallet usable.

Saw this on TikTok and thought it could be interesting but then downloaded it and realized there is no value. As one of the other comments said, it was a glorified calculator. I don’t see the business case here. I’d rather use mint, or a literal free calculator.

Literally havent been able to use NurseWallet because a pop up appears and despite completing it, it wont load or disappear. So annoying.

It’s a great app, but sometimes nurses work multiple jobs and PRN jobs as well and we are unable to add this into the calculations. I find it difficult to use NurseWallet.

App is glitchy - will not accept a shift differential that isn’t rounded to the nearest whole hour. Cannot put multiple shifts on the same day which would be beneficial for working charge as half a shift, etc. once glitches are fixed, I think NurseWallet would be better

I love the ability to see a forecast of how much I take home but it’s very glitchy. For instance, I update the shift start times but it keeps going back to the default options making it show my night shifts as day shift icons.

Was super drawn into this as a concept. Then after using it for a little, I came to realize I can just do this on my own and NurseWallet is not actually that helpful, more like a glorified calculator. That takes up storage on my phone

Good app in theory, but doesn't work :/ maybe after a lot of fixes it'll be great! it just never works longer than 2 minutes

I wish it was more inclusive as not all nursing is bedside and/or travel nursing. I like that they've added shift differentials but there is not spot for those that take on-call shifts, for example nurses that work in the OR. So, having the option to add an on-call shift as well as an option to add call back as those are two different rates of pay.
I also wish you could actually edit the "This month's vitals" section. It auto populates investment and retirement allotments and it could be less or more depending on the person. So, because you can't personalize it, it makes it a waste.

Love this concept but please add options for subtracting things like 30min LUNCHES, also health insurance, FSA, etc.! Also can't tell if it's taking out state specific taxes from my take home estimate... Lastly adding option for adding our own custom-named differential? Currently using a random differential to track the incentive pay for shifts I pick up...

Love NurseWallet but I wish I could assign on call shifts and adjust wages for being on call!

After the new update it will not let me get past the specialty screen. I decided to delete it since Im unable to use NurseWallet . When it worked I did enjoy the features.

I wanted to love NurseWallet but there’s too many things wrong with it.
For shift differentials, it won’t let me put in $2.50, $3.50, so I have to go up or down by a penny. It also is not very seamless to type in your pay as it won’t even let you use the decimal point it tries to do it automatically. It doesn’t connect to my student loans despite a few texts to customer service with all of their troubleshooting to no avail. I also thought there was going to be a calendar with dates to see your shifts in your app, but the shifts are just random with no dates.

NurseWallet is great, especially as a new nurse! Having to calculate pay on top of everything else can be stressful in your new role.

I would like to make some suggestions though.

I suggested NurseWallet to other nurses but some deleted it because their differentials are percentage based (yes I know some might says you can just go and calculate it but isn’t that the point of NurseWallet? To calculate it for you?) so maybe add a percentage option for those who have percentage based differentials.

Maybe add options for on call / standby pay & resource nurse pay differentials.

Maybe even add an option to add in your insurance etc amount per paycheck (so you know exactly how much you’ll be receiving at the end of the month)

Overall great app!

Overall great app! Love it. Suggestion: maybe add an option for us to put our own shift differentials as in my case we have 5 different ones based on days of week, like mon-fri 3-11 or weekend 7-3 and 3-11 and so on. It would very very helpful.

Great concept but I’m having difficulty connecting my this app to my nursegrid. Right now I can only use this app by manually entering shifts. Inconvenient but will keep trying to get it to work

I wish nurse wallet existed 15 years ago when i started out as an RN. It has made it a breeze to understand my money. The shift calculator has made organization within my team flawless. Most importantly, calculating my pay with differentials was effortless- making it easy for me to start investing .

Super helpful for student nurse/tech to learn how to budget and manage money!!!!

NurseWallet has saved me and my savings account !

I downloaded NurseWallet and understand my finances a lot better now. It’s easy to use, allows me to have all my information in one place, and I even started investing as a result!

I’m so happy that NurseWallet was recommended to me. It’s really evolved how I think about my finances. I finally feel like I have a grasp on all the steps I need to take to reach my financial goals.

I’ve found NurseWallet to be a game changer in getting me financially organized. The shift calculator is very helpful when deciding whether or not to pick up another shift. I’ve had a great experience

Since downloading have used NurseWallet to help manage my budget and don’t know how I ever lived without it. Super easy to pickup extra shifts and understand how to keep track of my finances.

Within my family and friends, in which we have 7 nurses, NurseWallet has been a game changer. Getting to the point we can’t live without it.

And sooo perfect for nurses (being able to input shift rates/differentials/bonuses)

NurseWallet is going to empower so many nurses and help us take control of our finances (student debt, etc)
