Not Particularly Useful

NespressoNew could be so much more useful. The single button on my sometimes-finicky Vertuo Next machine is capable of illuminating orange or white and displaying 11 different status/error messages by flashing, pulsing, or steadily showing those colors. That’s a lot to keep track of. Apparently, NespressoNew at least tells you what the problem is, but it should be more of a utility. It’s lacking the capability to, say, program your coffee to start brewing at 7 AM in the morning, warm the water instead of fiddling with the single button, or just start brewing without, again, messing with the various functions of the all-in-one button. NespressoNew seems built primarily to reorder pods with ease. To me, it’s about 1% easier than just going to the website and ordering that way. Also, when I click on “my machine”, it shows that I have an Atelier. That’s not what this model is. I know, I know, NespressoNew doesn’t claim to do all those thing I’d like but, as is, I don’t find it to be particularly necessary. I installed the Nespresso and Nespresso New apps today and will be uninstalling them today also.

A little better, a little worse

The old app was better by having each item in a list that was easily scrolled through and I could quickly find what I wanted. The new one using huge cards which might be good if you have no idea what you want but it’s a pain.

The checkout process and flow is improved though. Minus the fact that there was an option for free shipping and paid shipping and it defaults to the paid shipping 🤦‍♂️

Great improvement

Good improvement over the old app. Please have a way to represent flavored pods without the need to open each and see the description. Maybe a small logo? Also, need filters.

Just as bad as the old app

Again when I want to place an order, once I select my delivery address, I get “there are no available delivery methods for this order.”
Nestlé needs to get good developers for their app. There are always glitches which is so frustrating.

iPhone 15 pro not supported

Called to find out why my machine button is missing, after 15 minutes they tell me the iPhone 15 pro is too advanced and not supported. Funny, my s24 ultra works just fine. This is pretty absurd that the number 1 selling phone model in the world isn’t supported.

Can’t sign in without an account. No place to create an account.

At least old app let you create an account, but would not let you send to the country you lived in, only the country they randomly assigned you.

Limited functionality

Unable to add fee sample coffee at checkout, could not look up recipes or do any type of search, and it doesn’t notify you of freebies either. I went to the webpage to order and deleted NespressoNew .

Not synced with website

The shopping basket in NespressoNew is not synced with the website. I put what I wanted in the basket but could not get the sampler because there was no promo code. So had to put everything into the website basket again and placed order there. Even now the order placed via the website does not show up on the mobile app. Maybe they use some antiquated batch processing-who knows? But for now the website is the better choice.

It’s Visually better but still limited

Visually I like this better, but it’s lacking so much. I do like the improvement of the previous order design. I wish there was more info and recipes.

At least the last app worked.

Downloaded NespressoNew . Made my my first purchase with it. Just went back to check on my auto shipment date I had selected and I can’t open NespressoNew anymore.
Just keeps saying something went wrong…retry won’t work either. So frustrating. Deleted app. Reinstalled. And same thing. No change. At least the last app worked.

It is unacceptable the lack of transparency in NespressoNew for the payment process for shipping and try to enter/know offers.

Duplicate App

I agree with the other posted review. No need for another duplicate app. The efforts should be directed in fixing the previous app rather than creating a shopping app.

Terrible app and no ability to force machine firmware update

Same old sad story from Nespresso. Please fire your software engineers and product management teams. Start again. NespressoNew is terrible and you should be fixing the broken apps. You can’t update the firmware on the machine thanks to silly (stupid) decisions by your app teams. Shame!
