Doesn’t work without a iPhone

I got GlucoWatch because my daughter is 9 years old and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes I wanted her to be able to be a kid run around and do what she wanted with out a phone so I figure I would give her my Apple Watch so she could just use the Apple Watch and have her readings without her phone. Well that looks like is not going to happen. She still needs to have her phone or the watch won’t read her glucose if the iPhone is not close by. Her apple watch is cellular and Wi-Fi and is connected so this is app is now pointless me her to use.

Good app with some issues

First I’m glad to see developers in general filling the functionality gaps so completely ignored by Abbot’s own app. Being able to quickly access my cgm readings from my Watch is a nice improvement. But I cannot for the life of me get the reading to show on the complication itself (AWU1 watchOS 10.5) as seen in the example pictures, no matter what face or complication slot I try to use. It’s just a blank where text should be and a trend arrow, and I must tap into the complication to actually see a reading at all.

So for now, I’ve left it as a quick access on my widget stack. I’d love to be able to see it on a complication though. I look forward to any updates.

Doesn’t Update Health App on WatchOS 11

I updated my watch to WatchOS 11 today. Librewatch app seems to be buggy on this OS version and it doesn’t update the glucose data in Health app, even when I check the update health app setting, it unchecks it automatically. I use Libre 2 sensor and It worked well with previous OS version. GlucoWatch is fantastic, I love it, I hope and wish this bug is removed soon. Thanks.

Issue with Apple Health

I've been using LibreWatch for about a week now, and overall, it has been a positive experience. GlucoWatch provides a seamless interface for tracking glucose metrics, and its user-friendly and intuitive. However, I've encountered a significant issue with the integration with Apple Health. Despite multiple attempts to sync the data, the integration does not seem to work correctly. This is a crucial feature for me, as I rely on Apple Health to consolidate all my health information in one place. The lack of this functionality is a major drawback, especially for those who use multiple health-tracking apps. If LibreWatch can address the Apple Health integration issue, it would greatly enhance GlucoWatch 's utility and make it a top choice for health tracking. For now, it remains a useful app with potential, but with a critical flaw for Apple Health users.

Great app, Apple Health integration does not work

App works great at getting data onto my watch. The integration with Apple health is not working, no data from GlucoWatch shows up in Apple health even though GlucoWatch shows in Apple health as a data source.

Still that is a new function. Love GlucoWatch .

Great so far!

I installed LibreWatch on my Apple Watch. It is getting my glucose readings through LibreLink very well. It doesn’t update as frequently but often enough. I have the icon on my watch face; just touch the icon and my reading shows up.

Good, but needs a fix

Update: Since the most recent update GlucoWatch no longer syncs with Apple Health at all. The slider to share with Apple Health automatically turns itself off. Using iPhone 15, iOS 18, watchOS 11

I love that GlucoWatch syncs to Apple health, but I wish it would do it automatically. I use the Libre 2, which requires a manual scan. The only way to get the data from Librewatch to Apple health is to open the librewatch app every time. I wish it would just push to Apple health with no requirement from me. Other than that, GlucoWatch is great!

All in all a good app

Works well, updates frequently, and I like that I can see a chart of the day right on my watch. I do wish it had a phone app with an Apple widget so I could see my blood sugar on my Lock Screen. Other than that, no complaints.

So convenient. This really helps with my glucose control

I had a challenge getting this running because I downloaded it from my IPhone directly and not from GlucoWatch store. I can’t access it from my iPhone, but somehow it showed up on my Apple Watch. After some experimentation, I got it set up and it works beautifully as one of my complications.
It’s terrific not to have to open my app to see my glucose level. Very grateful!

The Best…thank you!

So excited to finally have a quick way to look at my blood sugars without taking out my phone. I find it reliable and super useful. The lag is minimal, if at all, definitely doesn’t bother me. The only thing I wish could be changed is the military time to am/pm. I messaged the developer, but haven’t heard back. Small detail.

Nice complement

This is a very nice complete to the official Libra app. I can see my sugar level anytime as I see the time. Viewing the auger level by pointing on the graph is missing in the libre app and I appreciate the support in libre watch. Only problem is, in the page with the graph, the numerical value of this information displayed at the bottom is almost hidden and hard to see. I hope the information is displayed a little bit up. I use Apple Watch Ultra. Thank you again for this nice app.

Finally! Libre 3 on AppleWatch.

This third party App is the answer to us Apple Watch owners. Denis Labaste has put together a nice little app for us diabetics using the Libre 3 app on iOS. I’m using the Libre 3 and LibreLinkUp on my iPhone. My lack of knowledge on the Apple Watch caused me issues. So for anyone else that needs a quick start. This is what I did: Download the LibreWatch app Download the LibrLinkUp app Create an account on LibreLinkUp or log in if you already have an account. Go to your Apple Watch Open the AppStore on your watch Scroll all the way to the bottom of AppStore Click on Account Click on purchased Click on my purchases Click the blue download button on LibreWatch You should be all set. If you want your blood sugar as a complication on your watch face. Go to Watch App on iPhone and go to your watch face. Pick the LibreWatch app as one of your complications. Enjoy GlucoWatch !

Love this little app

App is great does exactly what its meant to do. Only problem i have is that when you try to turn on Apple Health sync it turns off on it own right away. It says you must give it permission to use Apple health but there is no option anywhere for that. Is this a bug?

Password reset

Hello! I just love GlucoWatch. I bought a new iPhone and Apple Watch just to use it. Since there was some issues with GlucoWatch these past couple days, I am unable to log back in. Is there a way to reset the password? Again, GlucoWatch is a great find!

Abbott should be paying you for your work

I love GlucoWatch linking my Libre 3 to my phone. It works best when I tap the complication on the watch face to bring up the watch app itself. The complication doesn’t update often, but GlucoWatch does so I leave it active on my watch screen for near real-time info. With this I now prefer the L3 to dexcom !

Abbott should have created this but thank God you did. Priceless for my workouts as all I have to do is look at my watch to keep tabs on glucose level and trend. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!

Fantastic tool

This is the tool that Abbott should have included with their app. Everyone that uses this should support the author. My only complaint is that it doesn’t support multiple Apple Watches via the handoff feature but this is indeed a first world problem 😄

It’s working well.

So I didn’t understand how to get this on my watch, I didn’t even know I had an App Store on my watch! The developer contacted me and I got it on my watch and it works great! The developer had a timely and helpful response thank you.

I Needed This

Great app, thank you.

The installation was a bit complex but straightforward. More timely updating of the display would be nice, but a click is all that’s needed to get the latest reading. I know this is being worked on. Nice work!

Thank you!

Very useful app. Could you consider adding a way to adjust the range of the graph so it is a little more than the highest and lowest values automatically or a user defined range. A modular graph complication would be nice too. Thanks so much for your effort.

Excellent app but issue with watchios11

GlucoWatch worked well till last week on watchios10. Excellent performance and was very helpful.
Its not working well on watchios 11 after it was launched last week. Connection is dropped every few hours and message received is connection error, session task failed,……
