I am really disappointed with the way that Farcaster has changed on my iPad specifically where the format is vertical instead of horizontal. It’s literally impossible to use this way and all of the images look awful…. I was really looking forward to posting my art on this platform and sharing updates of our development from my personal profile, but this has made it a bad user experience. Please consider changing it back to the way it was. Users should not be forced to browse on Farcaster in a vertical format.

I like Farcaster , and the idea of Farcaster , but every time I open it Farcaster gives me a pop up saying “In-App Purchases are Not Allowed”.

I turned them on to pay the initial $5 to create my account, and turned them back off because I never buy anything with in-app purchases (other than this), so why risk it? This is the only app that I’ve ever seen this pop up from, and I see it CONSTANTLY. I’d use it more often if it wasn’t so annoying.

I found out about Farcaster through the grapevine and my social media consultant advised me to take a closer look for my business. Upon attempting to sign up I was stopped at the email verification after my wallet was apparently made, leaving me with the inability to access my account despite having my backup codes provided. There is no discord to reach out for help, I am not a developer and am not GitHub savvy nor see any place on GitHub as an end user to seek help or guidance. I am concerned for the average end user of this application if this is how things are currently set up. Thank you.

Looks like a solid app. Function and interface are well designed. However, if you are just trying to complete the quest then know you have to pay a $12 subscription for $20 in OP rewards. Still cool app.

Warpcast is a great competitor to Twitter with a better UX in my opinion. The web3 model means that users are not being taken advantage of by abusive algorithms and a purely profit-driven motive.

Frames is the breakout feature and token-gated communities will help its growth. A new wave of healthier social media is on its way!

All of the underlying technical innovation aside, the combination of following individuals to populate a general feed AND having topic specific feeds (by way of channels) makes this a really novel and highly engaging social network, purpose built for making connections and diving into wonderful little niches!

The model is finally here to bring time spent on a social network a worthwhile endeavor, there’s truly an incredible community of people here. poignant channels to learn about topics or create your own to find, grow, and interact with your people. ON CHAIN social graph. this is for the masses to adopt with ease. come degen ;) 🎩

The beauty about this app is you can use different clients. Warpcast has been my favorite so far.
I’m looking forward to engaging with others in a censorship free environment. Frames among many of the coming features, could be a new meta for Ethereum adoption.

The only likely contender I see is Lens. And there is also a world where they both exist and interoperate, benefiting from each others shared networks.

I love knowing I own my social data. My only nit pick: on desktop when I type really quickly it tries to autocorrect like I'm on iOS and then keeps deleting what I type. Very tedious!

Sufficiently decentralized social network. Do you know what that means? It means you own your network, your follows, your feed, it can’t be taken from you at the whim of a sociopathic billionaire.

Warpcast is a client built on top of some of the most robust decentralized infrastructure. It merges classic web infrastructure with decentralized platforms (Ethereum, ENS, Optimism). Above this stands the well-designed UI of Warpcast.

For builders, Warpcast is the go-to platform. It houses the best software engineers, developers, and web3 experts. Many used to flock to Twitter for the collective wisdom of these brilliant minds, but for me, Warpcast has become the new hub!

One thing there’s no shortage of is failed attempt at new social media apps and crypto vaporware.

Warpcast is neither of those. it is a smooth as Twitter with new innovations such as frames and tipping that you won’t find anywhere else a supportive community that I don’t see on any other social media app, and an integration with web three that you can ignore if you’re not in the crypto, but is amazing if you are. Kudos to those who created the this app protocol, and the Warpcast front end.

If you’re thinking about whether to give this a try, jump in and play with it, you will not be disappointed.

I’ve tried many decentralized social networks over the years, and this app isn’t just sufficient — it’s the best. Farcaster developers go way beyond supporting their users by sharing passing thoughts, funny musings, and even breakfast pics. Apparently one of them owns Gjelina restaurant in LA and is trying to bring in business. In seriousness, it’s a fun app even if it’s now in Farcaster Store. I’d rate it 6 stars if I could.

It’s about time we can use social apps where you truly own your account. Warpcast. is a polished app built on top of protocols that let you own and control your data.

There are other this app apps popping up with different experiences from Warpcast. They won’t be killed like Twitter third-party apps were killed.

As a novice I really began my web3 journey only in January after recovering from the initial brain rot of interacting with the crypto community on Twitter. Found the idea of social graphs interesting so tried out this app and it’s main competitor. So far I’m quite impressed with the community on this app where every other post I see is extremely thoughtful. Invite only model has its merit because a competitor while still in closed beta has given access to the wrong crowd and the platform has become incredibly spammy. I’m finding out more about *useful* web3 apps by interacting with the FC community daily. Great start and look forward to what’s in store for the future!

It’s true. Tons of interesting features added monthly and thoughtful discourse in a social app. There is hope yet.

I know I can build a reputation and online history with my friends, micro blog, and talk securely since Farcaster actually takes creators seriously and gives you a wallet. It’s also easy UX transition from twitter. Similar but less buggy, no spam and more interesting people.

Warpcast is 1000x better than Twitter. After signing up it’s been my go to social media platform.

I’m not a big web3 guy in fact I would say I largely dislike it. this app presents (at least for me) a valid use case where I was able to replace a web2 product (Twitter) with something that provided me more tangible value.

If you can look past all the irritating web3 fanboys and young start up founders who think their words are somehow prophetic than you can carve out a great community here.

The open question remains though… how this app will handle the influx of new users over time.
