I like it but whenever I try certain ones it makes me white. After using all of the filters I turned from a black girl with dark curly hair to a white girl with blue eyes and straight light brown hair. It’s sort of comedic and sort of disappointing. I know it is intended that we use one filter at a time and I didn’t expect ArcaneMe to be perfect. I was actually impressed with how good it was in the first place and I don’t get why people are criticizing it like it was supposed to be the best thing. In conclusion it’s not the best app, it’s not very accurate, it’s not supposed to be the greatest thing but it would be cool if it was.

For what it does, I enjoy the results. But this is one of the few times that I would throw money at a paid version that would produce print-quality, higher resolution images and didn’t have ads.

Try different angles and do the second or theirs option for image choice, a couple spots are a bit wonky (only the nose and one eyebrow) but it look normal. Would recommend.

I took a picture and then none of the choices/styles worked. So…. It does nothing

It’s just bad. It distorted my green screen. If you want a better app just use Prequel.

the results are super laggy and takes quite a while for you to get the results. ArcaneMe is just a waste

App isn’t nearly as horrible as people are saying it is. Yes, the ads every time you need to process a photo can be annoying, but I have yet to have an issue closing them. I’d love it if you could have the effect work on the full photo rather than have to crop it into a square. Not EVERY photo is going to turn out well, but I’d say easily 75% of the photos I’ve used work great with it. You can check one of these edits on my wife’s Instagram (tobys_angel) and you will see how cool it turns out.

People complaining that every photo is “nightmare fuel”… have you ever wondered if that’s just the subject matter it has to work with? Take better photos and you will get better results, I promise. But it would be nice to get a paid version with no ads and the ability to do full body photos with some adjustment tools. For now, it works fine as a profile photo or Instagram post editor that is fun and easy to use.

Give me the ability to remove ads and have full size photo edits and I would gladly change this from a 3 to a 4.5 star app. It does what it says, you just need to understand like with ALL of these apps, it won’t work on every photo just because you want it to.

So I played around with this for about 10 or 15 minutes. There is generally no problems with it. However, somethings will get a bit wonky looking and it’s just kind of funny in the end. Don’t expect the best results for most of your pictures. But I got a good laugh out of some of the ones I did. Like there was one picture where my nose had eyeballs. Good times.

I’ve seen other peoples photos of them on ArcaneMe and they turn out great but I uploaded many photos and they all were glitched and scary looking so I took many photos and those didn't work either. May I add I had good lighting and I have a good iPhone. So what’s wrong with your app not being able to interoperate my face?

ArcaneMe performed so poorly that I had to write a review. No pictures came out well or as advertised and I’m very disappointed. I don’t know if the one person who wrote a five star review got extremely lucky or if it’s a fake review. Additionally, the ads on ArcaneMe are extremely annoying. I understand having an ad on the bottom of the screen, but being forced to watch ads (usually the same one) every time you click on the button to process the photo really takes away from the “super fast” processing time.
Overall, I rate ArcaneMe a 1 out of 5 stars.

ArcaneMe isn’t as bad as most of the reviews say. Most pictures will work in one of the three styles. A few things to keep in mind: It crops like Twitter or Instagram, and If you use a blurry or poor quality photo you’re going to get poor results. It does have ads yet as phone apps go it’s not as annoying as some apps I have used. They are short and easy to close.

It took some fiddling, but I got it to work. My best advice is to treat the styles like a lighting scale. In my experience, the first style works best with low light photos and the third is best with brighter photos.

I got some cute pictures out of it. I quickly learned that any photo showing teeth would just turn out horrible, no matter how nice your smile is. I quickly deleted ArcaneMe because of the ads.

I saw a couple people post about ArcaneMe so I thought i’d try it, even after seeing the terrible reviews (it deserves) I tried multiple photos from different angles hoping maybe that’d help but I still got the same deformed outcome. There’s also ads in between EVERY photo, but that isn’t as bad there’s ads in everything these days lol

Okay so like the only style that’s good is style 2, u have to take a picture a little distance away to get ur whole face, and hair if female/with long hair, like it’s a OKAY app, just the art style makes u look very dirty and kinda bad, I do advise u to 100% look at the reviews. I was expecting it to be very cool and pretty/hot like how I saw it on TikTok but ig it only works on CERTAIN people.

When i arcaned myself i really didnt look like a character that would be in arcane i still looked very human but it tried lol

I was hoping because poc characters were in the show, you would’ve included us with the development of ArcaneMe. But it’s very disappointing. A lot of the photos come out wonky and nothing like an arcane character. Looks more like if you put a painting filters over a photo. Disappointed.

I used a few different pictures— different lighting to each, different angles as well— all make me look beyond uncanny and downright creepy.

Funny if you keep putting in the same photo again and again and get a horror by the end of it.
