Guy talking about everything else other than my problem which was getting my Facebook back. What throw me off was when they played the Facebook laughing video when literally trying to get my Facebook back then guy act like he’s not the hacker, he said “you know hackers can access your account from anywhere”. This part didn’t make any sense…he mentioned New York and i never even been there then soon he mentions about PNC bank, that’s when i hung up super quick, turn off the broadcast and uninstalled it.

IperiusRemoteDesktop is a scam. When you call apple support they will lead you down a rabbit hole. It basically allows them to see your phone. Then they try to get your bank info. He has an accent and it seems like a scam. But I assumed it wasn’t since it was supposed to be apple. It was very scary and I hung up after he asked for money and bank account things. They also don’t help with your issue and you should hang up immediately. Even the name sounds sinister so follow your gut. Because it’s a trick to hack into your phone. I hate the people so much and IperiusRemoteDesktop and the answer it will give me. I hope they get a ton of karma.

I was calling Facebook customer service to help recover a account that I have recently lost since I got a new phone. It had asked me to download this exact app. It asked for the ID and password I have the ID and thankfully enough before I gave the password I asked what it was for . This man sounded from India. DO NOT TRUST IT! It can mess up your phone bad . I’m so thankful I looked at the reviews before it . I think his name was Henry, something with a H . Do not trust google because it gave me this number too. I had a werid feeling from the start. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

I was trying to call 1-800 Ticketmaster number and ended up talking to someone from India.. thinking he would refund me because there was a mistake in my purchase.. he asked me to load app .. then he asked me to go to cash all .. that’s when I got a weird feeling and the he said enter your pin .. from this dumb app that was like 2020 .. well that would have been like 2k .. that’s was when I’m like .. gotta go !! Ended call hung up, and removed app disconnected .. but am aware of any fraudulent activity comes up it would be due to IperiusRemoteDesktop!!! Shame on you the developer which I’m almost sure he shares interest with scammers on here !! Just by looking at a all the reviews!!

Please do not download IperiusRemoteDesktop. It is a scam. I called PayPal customer service and somehow my number was routed to this person, angry man who tried to tell me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop to help me with my PayPal and I knew it sounded too fishy so I said this doesn’t sound right he got upset and said well have a bad day ma’am and I hung up on him. This is a scam. I cannot believe Fraudsters would go this far, but they are out there making a living on frauding innocent people to get their information and their money so please do not download IperiusRemoteDesktop. Read this review and thank you to the person who wrote a review about IperiusRemoteDesktop because I was looking it up as this person was talking to me and I realize it was a scam!

I was trying to delete an old Facebook account and googled a number to call Facebook. Well the person I talked to told me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop, which allows you to share your screen with them. He then told me to go to my settings. Then he told me to click on my iCloud and go to “payment and shipping”. Me being a gullible person, I clicked on it and put my password in. Then it finally clicked that it was a scam. Thank goodness I eventually realized it before they got any of my information. After all that happened,I came back and read the reviews of IperiusRemoteDesktop. Now before I download an app or even purchase something online I read the reviews because this could’ve been avoided! How can IperiusRemoteDesktop be deleted?!? Clearly a bunch of people are being scammed with it!!

My and my friend were trying to call apple and the number we dialed sent us to an Indian guy and I told him what was going on. The second Indian guy asked for me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop on my phone and asked for the ID and password multiple times. I proceeded to give him the information. He transferred me to the third Indian guy and he asked for the same information, provided the information and told me to go to my settings and I told him I don’t see what he’s talking about which when I talked to the second guy I asked him if he can see anything on my phone and he said no. So once I talked to the third guy I got weirded out bc I didn’t tell him I was on my settings. Once I told him again I don’t see what he’s talking about he said it was going to cost money to change a password for my friend to get into her new phone due to her other one going underwater. We hung up on them and I deleted IperiusRemoteDesktop instantly. Now I’m worried that might have my information… I was able to talk to a person through apple after and told them what was going on, she said I shouldn’t worry about anything. Yet I’m still worried…

I wanted a refund from Apple because for a subscription mess up on my end. A site acting like Apple Support, asked me to download this. I almost fell for it, Apple would never have you download IperiusRemoteDesktop. IperiusRemoteDesktop lets others have full control of your iPhone and the information on it. No matter what they say, they are not apple and they have everything they need on their end to verify who you are. Be careful on the sites you choose because they do look like apple.

They actually have a fake apple phone number out there now too and guess what they told me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop they told me to go to Cash App. They were going and asking me about some red dot I wasn’t thinking clearly I almost got scammed. They told me that the scammers had got me and fooled me, but don’t worry they were gonna help me get a refund. I was tripping over 50 bucks, dude don’t fall for this. I caught onto it when they asked me about Venmo. I don’t have a Venmo account or cash app account.!!!!

DO NOT TRUST ANYONE THAT IS ASKING FOR THE PASSWORD TO IperiusRemoteDesktop. DO NOT SHARE YOUR SCREEN WITH ANYONE UNLESS ITS APPLE SUPPORT. APPLE SUPPORT HAS ITS OWN TECHNOLOGY WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO SCREENSHARE WITH THEM WITHOUT DOWNLOADING AN ADDITIONAL APP. I was contacting what I thought was Apple Support and it was not. Unfortunately, through no fault of IperiusRemoteDesktop itself, this software makes it easy for people to scam you. I can’t in good faith give it a higher review due to this.

To IperiusRemoteDesktop Developers: it would be great if you to put a warning at the top of IperiusRemoteDesktop to explain to not share these numbers/password with anyone else and that this software, while it may be good to use as intended, is often exploited by scammers. That would protect users and also give me reason to give it a higher review.

Before you Download load IperiusRemoteDesktop, think Twice and then think three more times and then close IperiusRemoteDesktop closest and forget that you ever knew about it! It is the Scammers 5 lane Highway to get inside your computer and take All Control of everything you hold Dear to You! Especially your Money! I almost mad the mistake, but I closed IperiusRemoteDesktop before it could download!

If I could put a 0 stars I would! I called about FB issues and they started telling me I’ve been hacked and to download IperiusRemoteDesktop that it would help with glitches. It didn’t help but helped Them (hackers) get into my accounts including bank accounts and tried to tell me that there was a purchase pending for 2000 in cryptocurrency and 500 for pornography. They had me give them (hackers) phone number to my bank so I can report it cuz it’s a serious situation and he insist he call them & I speak to them. So I’m talking to a woman ( who I think is my bank) and she sees all my my bank info so i think it’s legit. After they wanted me to repurchase same item to cancel original purchase, I hung up. I called my bank and nothing was pending , they just wanted time for IperiusRemoteDesktop to show info , so I had to change all my accounts! This is a SCAM! Beware.

I downloaded IperiusRemoteDesktop and almost got scammed once I downloaded IperiusRemoteDesktop I was told by the scammers to swipe left on my Home Screen so I did just that and he told me to swipe right so he can see every app on my phone so then he said go to cash app I asked how do you know I have cash app he said it on my account I said I never applied for this company why do I have to pay $517 he said u don’t have to pay it we are going to give you a refund so then he said link your bank card to your cash app I said I don’t have a bank account so he said u don’t have chime I asked how do you know that oh it one of the other banks that on your account so I disconnected IperiusRemoteDesktop this we only about 2mins n he said do u want to work with me to get your refund I said they never took money from me for this n I told him I was recording the phone call he ask y I said because I don’t trust you n then he hung I guess after he realized I had no money n none of my accounts lol moral to the story is don’t download IperiusRemoteDesktop if u don’t want to be SCAMMED!!!!!!!!

Do don’t download IperiusRemoteDesktop it is a scam. In my case it was Etsy. I was told my account was suspended.
Called the number and the man said to download IperiusRemoteDesktop to walk me through what I needed to do.
Had me transfer money from one account to another due to the card they had on my Etsy account. Then had me transfer money on Venmo but that money didn’t come from my account, ended up with their company money to see if my account was working. Then had me transfer even more money though cash app, got the money back but when they took their company money back they took an extra 1098 from me. In order to get that back they wanted me to add a card on my Venmo after they put everything back in my account but said if I didn’t give them their money back they would call fraud.
Now I’m fighting with my bank/fraud to get my 1098 back….
I’m so stupid to fall for all this…
Have no money or cards to my accounts for who knows how long…..

Do not download IperiusRemoteDesktop. I googled customer support for Apple and got in touch with some guy with an accent trying to resolve a subscription problem, he instantly went to telling me he could see that my Apple ID was being used in other states and that they were trying to get into my accounts in an attempt to get me worried, which worked. he had me download IperiusRemoteDesktop and was taking me all over the place, like cash app trying to have me add money and even attempted to get me to log into my bank account to get the ID number for the subscription and when I logged in on another device out of suspicion he tried to tell me I absolutely had to use the device I called him off of for it to work, I eventually realized that I was probably about to get scammed and hung up. People like this will get their karma in life!

Beware, people are using IperiusRemoteDesktop for fraud. You may receive an email that PayPal has charged you a lot of money. When you call the number, they’ll ask if you live in a specific state (they should know the state you live in already). When you say no, they’ll ask if you gave your password to others or share an account. Then they’ll say you need to download this software so they can block the user from using your PayPal. That is now what this software is for. You should never let others remotely access your phone or computer. They will never have to do that. When I told the person that I don’t feel comfortable using it, he told me it’s PayPal’s process to block fraud. He told me that it’s on me and PayPal cannot guarantee the $900 will be canceled and the user blocked. Do not download IperiusRemoteDesktop from instruction from any organization. Only use this for your personal use and do not give information to others.

IperiusRemoteDesktop allows others to take control of your device(s). I called a number that claimed to be Apple tech support to correct a problem on my iPad, and they had me DL IperiusRemoteDesktop. Turns out it wasn’t Apple support, and it wasn’t until I had been scammed into buying (for myself) an Apple GC for $498, DLing CashApp and asked for a debit card number that I realized it wasn’t legit.
Had to cancel two credit cards, and I may be stuck with an Apple GC I didn’t want. I’m reporting this fraud and hopefully the bank that owns the credit card can help to reverse this. I’ll NEVER Google a support number again.

I do not care what the developers are saying, DO NOT install IperiusRemoteDesktop. It is OBVIOUSLY unsecured and can be used by scammers. I called looking for Facebook support to gain access to my sisters account who has been missing for 11 days now. I downloaded IperiusRemoteDesktop thinking that he would help me access her account, but he (possibly an Indian male) tells me that her account and now mine is compromised with spyware. I immediately disconnected and deleted IperiusRemoteDesktop but I’m not sure if that was enough. I have enough going on mentally and can not deal with such foolery right now. Please warn people or work on making your app more secure! People in vulnerable positions are being taken advantage of.

Well the developer contacted me and said they were reputable company!??? What a load of bologna! I was born at night but not last night! And question why do you have one star and I’m not the only one that says this is a Scam? Hmm

I received a scam type email that claimed it was me that purchased through pay pal a $ 946 IPad. Which I did not do I called the number and they took me to this website and started to direct me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop so I can go to another website to report it. Luckily my phone was really slow to download while I was reading the reviews. The guy had an accent like the previous person said and it just felt wrong. Told him I would have to call back. Watch out. Mr developer if this is not you doing this you should be concerned because whoever this is, is giving your business a bad reputation.

After realizing a family member of mine needed help getting his Apple ID password reset, we thought we decided to call Apple support (or so we thought). After being told there were pending transactions, we were suggested to download IperiusRemoteDesktop so the person who we called could have a visual of what we were seeing. I suddenly became suspicious when they had asked me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop on my phone (which I had no problems on). Why would they need to look through my phone if it’s my family member that needs the help? They then told me to log in to my family member PayPal and cash app accounts to see if we could find out where the charges were (which I believe they made us log in to several banking accounts to check if we had enough money worthy of their scam)After about 10 minutes of nothing they had suggested we buy a 100 dollar Apple gift card using my family members debit card, so that we could get refunded the pending transactions. But once they realized there was hardly any money they said something I could barely understand and hung up fast enough where I couldn’t say anything. I should have seen this coming as soon as they had me download this sketchy app. Do not download any app that allows a complete stranger to have access to your private records, such as banking. IperiusRemoteDesktop is a complete scam and it will give you nothing but a hole in your pocket if you’re not careful!!!

IperiusRemoteDesktop is being used by crooks , scammers and people who mean do take from other. That fact that it’s not flagged as a risky app is not ok. Is anyone ask you to download it question them vigorously.

I called PayPal customer service and it ended up being a scammer, not actually PayPal. They tried to get me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop.

Such a scam. Posing as Apple support, should've known the second that they made me download an external app. Don't give away any personal information/banking information. The word "micro-transaction" is a major red flag! Reporting these guys and sending their IP to the proper authorities.

I called for a xbox gift card issue and they were asking questions that had nothing to do with the xbox gift card. Like go to my settings and go to my credit card information and that was when I released it was a scam. DO NOT trust these people!!!!!!

I was contacting Apple support or so I thought. I got as far as downloading and share screen. Once they asked my to login to my bank account to see how I paid for the phone is got suspicious and ended call. Time will tell if any damage was done. Stay away from IperiusRemoteDesktop!!!

Don’t do it, don’t download. This is being used by people purporting to be Facebook security to purportedly help you with a hacked account alert. I fell for it in part because of IperiusRemoteDesktop. I’m out $12,300 because of this scam. IperiusRemoteDesktop knows about it and is doing nothing. They are all in it together.

I was calling for Apple for reassurance for my cash app because I was getting random purchases and I spoke to a number I found pretending to be Apple and I heard the accent and I should’ve known but I told them my Apple ID and they were looking at my screen and I didn’t realize it and they tried to get me to send them $17 and they made me type in a name and right whenever I said wouldn’t you get money so It wouldn’t help me get my money back they hung up immediately and then called back saying that it’s a reassurance policy so please don’t download IperiusRemoteDesktop

I called Facebook and I was told to download IperiusRemoteDesktop, I don’t think so I feel like everybody at Facebook customer service are a bunch of idiots and scammers and don’t know what they’re talking about. I was asked a couple of weird questions about if I had any money or a credit card by this foreign sounding guy named John on the phone and if I could send him some money over cash app to pay for my hacked Facebook account for the second time where my new account was hacked into and suspended for a 180 days this time. I think that everybody at Facebook Customer Service and Support or a bunch of Hackers and Scammers and they just want Money instead of actually doing something good to help someone get their Facebook account back up and running. If these people would get a real job instead of conning and hacking people. And after Money All the Time or telling lies about what happened to peoples Facebook accounts. I feel as if I might just turn some of these hackers and scammers over to the law enforcement agencies and then we’ll see if they can get my Facebook account back to me from these hackers and scammers

Hello, no matter what whether it’s Etsy in my case, but Instagram, Facebook and other platforms when you call a “number” from a website and this number I called was located on a support group. I do not care what this developer is saying. This is a complete scam in every single way. I called to get help with my account log in, a person answered with an accent (that not being an issue) and he said to download IperiusRemoteDesktop. I wondered why and even pointed out the horrible reviews of scams on IperiusRemoteDesktop below. He said “just go ahead.” And I played along. Then it pops up as a way to have “them” log in remotely to your device. Then the flags were up. He wanted me to “broadcast” IperiusRemoteDesktop on my device and then start to remove al security settings on my device. That’s were it ended. I called the Apple App Store and filed an official complaint. I also notified the FCC where my brother works in cybersecurity. Never ever use IperiusRemoteDesktop. I don’t care what the developer claims. It is a complete SCAM ****

I looked up Apple support. I clicked what looked like a genuine Apple support website. Called the number. They immediately had me down load this about and tried to get me to “Test” transactions. They almost got into my bank accounts. ***BEWARE!!***

My instagram was hacked. I was desperate to speak to someone so i looked up customer service for instagram and called the number. I was hesitant when i heard the accent lol. They were asking me to verify legit information seemed legit then he wanted me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop so they could remote access my account for me to verify it was me… sketchy then ofcourse i saw the countless other reviews. Plus the overall app is a 1star so i hung up on the guy and immediately after i was getting non stop calls from california. BEWARE. PLEASE B CAREFUL I GOT LUCKY. ALSO contact instagram through their website and submit a claim with them. They were able to verify me through my original email (another email was being sent my information for some reason) anyways goodluck and DONT DOWNLOAD.

Someone tried to get me to open my bank account to fix a charge from Apple when I called apple support and they don’t do that

My instagram got hacked by someone and I found a number that was supposed to be “customer service” and it was this scam caller number that told me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop. Now they probably have my info and they lied!!

This is a scam app if you call for any soft of customer support I called apple they directed me to this and my account almost got hacked. And I read someone else called instagram customer support and got redirected to IperiusRemoteDesktop and they got there account hacked.

Like others I was duped into downloading IperiusRemoteDesktop under the guise of re-enabling a hacked Instagram account.

I called what I thought was Apple support. I did download app. But then he said it looked like I had suspicious activity on my iPhone and customer service asked that I go to google. That’s when I disconnected and deleted app. Then I prayed to Jesus that I didn’t get hacked!

Today at around 5.40 pm EST I talked to an Apple customer representative. It’s hard to believe how bad and abusive he was. It’s beyond my belief. He even texted back to me with all dirty words. How can a good company like Apple have such representatives hard to believe.

Was trying to get an instagram account back and he made me go through my settings and was saying stuff like “it’s being used by someone who compromised it, their IP address is in *state*. Oh you’re not there? To help you, go to Google and type in “What is my IP address?”” and I hung up before I searched that. Don’t download this cruddy app.

Do not download IperiusRemoteDesktop. Especially with customer service rep asking you. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE REP should be asking you to download this to gain access to your phone. I called a scammy Etsy number and immediately knew something was off when I read the other reviews.

Do not download this if a “customer service” representative asks you to. I received an invoice for a service I didn’t agree to. If you call the number noted on the invoice it will connect you to scammers who advise you to download this to connect you to a server in order to help you. Do not do this.

I called Netflix seeking help trouble shooting and was asked to download IperiusRemoteDesktop. Then was transferred to a higher up security and the man was asking for banking information which I said absolutely not then hung up. Not sure what will happen at this point since I downloaded IperiusRemoteDesktop and uninstalled. BEWARE ITS A SCAM!!!!

Almost got scammed of personal information. Was trying to contact FB support and this number popped up called and they guided me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop to see my “Facebook” account. Should’ve been my red flag there. It wasn’t until I got to the porition where they wanted to see my Venmo and I was questioning them and they hung up

Please do not download. Scammers are using this application to get all your information. I’ve been trying to submit my review however its not getting posted. If its not posted I will call Apple for assistance amd to inform them what this application does. This application needs to have disclaimers of what thieves are doing. I can’t believe Apple does not force these things on these type of applications.

I got to this through a number that Google said was Apple Support. They told me to load IperiusRemoteDesktop. I'm normally very wary and suspicious, but since I thought Apple sent me here, I got IperiusRemoteDesktop . A person with a foreign accent and a lot of people in the background walked me through a lot of steps ro supposedly remove a virus which was accessing my banks. When they wanted me to send a "fake request" to Zelle, I hung up.

I called what I believed was Apple customer care and turns out it was a fake website with the fake phone number upon calling they asked a ton of questions went through my settings, and my phone made up a bunch of lies, and had me download IperiusRemoteDesktop and then they asked me if I had cash app Venmo or Zelle and tried to get me to send money to them. This is a scam. Be careful. they didn’t get any money from me and got mad and hung up. Oh well dummies.

I called again to see if I could get someone that wasn’t a hacker, and they told me to search up this which was the same thing but just a different name and was asking for my bank information but I’ve called before and they didn’t need anything besides my phone information and my last and first name do not download.

I called Etsy today and feel very weird with that accent but the phone number is from Etsy website so I downloaded IperiusRemoteDesktop like he told me to. Then he asked for those number on the appI was like wait a minute. Something is not right. Why would it’s not go through Etsy why is it different app. Then i look at IperiusRemoteDesktop name again. Was like NOPE I don’t want to do this and hung up on him and deleted IperiusRemoteDesktop . Then I research about Etsy phone number and they stop using those number i called.

Was trying to contact Etsy for help with my account. The person that answered had me download this and was trying to get me to open up my Apple wallet. He claimed that he sent me a $1 twice as a way to test my account and wanted me to look in my wallet to see if I received it. I decided to look at my account on my computer first to hide my information. Glad I did…because it was definitely a scam and I ended the call after that…DO NOT DOWNLOAD…

I was told to install this by a scammer. I was unaware it was a scam because I called the apple help number (got it off of google) only cal 1-800-AppleCare!!!!!!!
I placed a call to Apple support, and was transferred to another person who was going to help me get my device replaced. Long story short he used this software program to have me open up different items on my phone, including my bank app and my wallet app. if you’re smart, you will never ever ever use this software!!!!

Unfortunately I agree with the above comment. I was getting Facebook account help then was transferred but I didn’t know better. They don’t say “send me money”, they lead you step by step so you think you’re in control but you just want to get back into your socials.

This coming is a scam. They want your private information and when you say why they go into some bunch of lies, they curse too. It is not legitimate and I have reported them to my bank and apple. Big fraud. Don’t give them any info. Big scam.

If I could give no stars i would , one of the red flags was the accent. Then the so called customer support agent asked me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop and asked questions like what’s in your saving and checkings I immediately hung up after I told them that they were scammers trying to get a. Easy payout and the the flood of calls happened and I had to block the numbers beware and be safe.

If any site ms , instagram, etc. tells you to download IperiusRemoteDesktop. DO NOT DO IT. I was hit with the same speak to my senior manager speech as other users reported. I was trying to get into my Microsoft email and this was the first ad to pop up with a legit looking pop up. Which should’ve been my first red flag. Luckily I was creeped out enough to hang up the phone. Just don’t download it.

I searched on Google for Facebook support phone number and a toll free number showed up so when I called an Indian accent guy answered and took me through “support” telling me that my account has been hacked. He told me to download IperiusRemoteDesktop and he started screen recording and told me to open my bank app to verify fraudulent charges. I felt something wasn’t right so I didn’t do it, then he told me to go to a Food lion to get a security card to fix my problem. I figured that I was talking to a hacker himself and hung up the phone and deleted IperiusRemoteDesktop . Beware of this scam.

I called this number thinking it was the Instagram support line because I was desperate to talk to someone from Instagram support. Again, the accent should have been a big red flag for me. He made me screen broadcast my screen and claimed it could only see the activity, not the screen even though IperiusRemoteDesktop clearly stated otherwise. He kept harassing me to go on my bank account info and then proceeded to connect me with his “senior manager.” I told this person on the phone that this was a scam and he said “how dare you talk to me that way, you need to go on cashapp.” And I was like cashapp? For what??? Then he said “well if you don’t then you’ll never get your Instagram account back and you will never be able to create another one with your device.” I hung up and blocked the number. Please don’t call these people and if they ask you to download IperiusRemoteDesktop, HANG UP!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

IperiusRemoteDesktop is interesting. Called a scam apple number on google, told me to get IperiusRemoteDesktop . Almost got scammed out of 500$ if I didn’t realize that the real apple number doesn’t make you download this, causing them to get information to your phone. Luckily, I read online that if you delete IperiusRemoteDesktop it deletes their access. Not the same for laptop. App is fun with friends if you wanna goof around and do stuff on their phones but that’s it. Nice app to have fun with, scammers take advantage of it.

I came very close to being hacked a couple of days ago…and the customer support team at Iperius was outstanding in responding to my cry for help. This Company has been burned by traitorous Individuals using their products…who are taking full advantage of clueless people making blunders online. NEVER GIVE ANYONE ANY CODES OR LOG-IN PASSWORDS ON THE INTERNET!!!!
