I’ve had the Roku Channel app and have used the remote option for private listening. For over a week, that app won’t pair with my TVs anymore so I thought I’d download just the remote app for that purpose. This one won’t pair either. Yes, all TVs are on the same network as well as my cell.

I saw that I got charged for “buying a years worth of subscription” but I never tried to buy it now it won’t let me cancel and it still wants me to pay

It’s always the same with y’all’s at longest a pay for futures that I won’t really need it would run smoth and in the other hand if you don’t is just a mess of an app

What a scam. It’s so easy to subscribe, basically a trick, but it’s almost impossible to cancel the subscription. Do better.

I have used UniversalRemote and others like it for so loooooong and now I go to use the trusted app and you are telling me I have to pay a subscription to use a remote are you serious I am so upset you money hungry aholes how are you going to put a subscription on a remote when you could buy a remote once you are serious 6.99 or 4.99 a month for access to a remote yeah good luck getting paid

It won’t connect to my tv while on the best running internet in my city and on the same WiFi network like two inches apart from each other

You can’t even hit a button on the remote cause you need a subscription for some weird reason and if you do not have a subscription you can’t use it 0/10

UniversalRemote will make you pay when you can get a FREE DOWNLOADED remote ( Roku ) then they won’t say your paying until after the fact be careful

I don’t want the subscription. It was a 3 day free trial, and I canceled like the second day I think so, because I didn’t like it. And then today (3rd day) it was like renewed and I was charged $21,34! I want my money back! I don’t want that subscription I cancelled immediately again but I need my money back.

I own a Roku TV. I don’t know. They cost a lot of money but UniversalRemote that should be there for me for when I lose my TV Remote even though I didn’t use it I was gonna try it out cost money. What the heck is up with that please change thisat least make it cheaper or something by

The free version doesn’t let you use any features at all, u have buy and $50 is a very heavy price.

I only found out after downloading this that it charged me $6.99 for one week.
I cancelled it immediately and want my money back.
I would not have accepted the download had it been clear about the cost.
Not worth it when an actual replacement remote is only $20.

I literally downloaded UniversalRemote 2 minutes ago and i already hate it. It says it is universal but that is a lie. It only works for Roku. Even then whenever you press a button it takes you to an ad then it says buy full access. This is a pure waste of time. I will be deleting UniversalRemote. Do not download

Got home at 12am from work and my baby hid my remote. I have a firestick tv downstairs and when we lose it I have UniversalRemote , I love it. So I was like “i can just download UniversalRemote ”. I get UniversalRemote and it doesn’t let me do anything, anytime I push a button it says I have to purchase. $9.99 a month or $49 for the on time payment. Dude I’m not doing all that. I just went and found the remote. This was a waste or time at 12am.

This isn’t the official roku app. I accidentally downloaded this one and it tries to make you pay an absurd price to use. Get the other app; it’s free and made by roku instead of this 3rd party scam.

Won’t let you use the remote unless you pay 10$ a month. All other reviews were made in a click farm.

If you are trying to use the remote you need to subscribe to premium to use it

Downloaded app - followed instructions - didn’t work at all. Within a few minutes cancelled the subscription and still being charged for the week. What a scam.

I have three Roku devices. It used to connect to all devices and worked great. Then it couldn’t find anything. I loaded again, still nothing. Which makes it useless. And yes, it’s all on the same network.
