I’m really disappointed.

I was so excited for this game. It seemed like it could have been really fun. But 60 levels in and it goes from a game that could feasibly be played free to pay to win with absolutely no leeway. I’ve already spent money on this game to try and help me progress so that I could see the story, but even that didn’t help me. Stuck on level 90 I think. I’m so terribly disappointed because this game could have been so cool. It had an awesome combat system on the first boss. It has some adorable voice acting and a really cute and relaxing story. The art is amazing and I’ve been playing cookie run for years, since gingerdozer was the original gingerbrave. What a shame, it had so much potential.

devsis is greedy and lazy

literally just a cash grab. it’s extremely hard to move forward in the game. the only thing you can do is solve puzzles but after a certain point it’s just luck. unless you go bankrupt buying power ups and recharging your cookies skills. why don’t the cookies recharge on their own after time? i’m stuck on a level because, even with power ups and cookie skills, i can’t get lucky enough to beat it. i don’t think i’ll be playing much longer. the app isn’t even loading for me now. the gacha system is insane too. i play cookie run games mostly to collect cookies but it’s impossible to get cookies in this one. devsis should just focus on their good games like kingdom and oven break. this game is probably going to flop just like brixity because you can’t do anything fun or progress without paying lots of money. i wonder who they had test this game. and who came up with the idea of making it impossible to progress without paying. maybe i’d pay if it was more reasonable. who wants to spend $10 on a battle pass for a mobile puzzle game? actually insane. the reason kingdom is so popular is because it’s very generous with crystals and other materials. and there’s more to do. i hope they fix it. if they don’t and decide to keep going with this horrible game play i hope they lose money on it.

I might update this if i see changes…l own every game lvl 250

I own every game in this franchise. I adore the cookies, their stories, and the love the devs have shown in most of the games. However…. This one is very cash grab-centric. I am level 250 and am appalled at how MUCH things cost in this game for what you get. You make about 1,000 coins per every 6 turns, and 1 roll of the GACHA costs that much unless you spend $8 on premium currency. If you don’t understand why thats bad…the GACHA is uncontrolled in 4 or 5 categories, split between cookie rolls, furniture, and cards?? And you get no say in what you get. So, for the math of it, at level 250 i have been able to roll about 40 times WITHOUT spending real money and 32 of those rolls have been furniture, or cards. I only got 2 cookies off the rolls that resulted in cookie chances. 2. Both, were common not even rare or epic. Otherwise, i had to buy them with real money. It took me a month to get to level 250 for reference. None of the other games are THIS bad and if the company just becomes another run of the mill cash grab app, i will regretfully need to separate myself from them. I do not mind spending money. I DO mind being shoved violently towards my credit card when i support all the other games as it is.
