With my new iPad and new Apple Pencil, for months, this app has been my daily companion. Suffering a recent brain injury, the slide and glide, colors, photographs, gestures, and all workings have continued to play a significant part in my restoration therapy…until recently. I purchased the game. Suddenly, with “rotate” selected, the pieces no longer rotate with the Apple Pencil. My first inclination was to check the Help Center. Nothing to suggest the pieces no longer rotating. So I turn to you, my trusted compatriots who love this puzzle game as much as I, for anyone who might experience the same. Customer Service Chat responded with a hope to update the game soon as they are aware of ongoing problems. Now, they say check the new update. All aspects work as usual but for the puzzle pieces rotating with the new Apple Pencil. I’ve uninstalled, lost all of my gems and saved puzzles, re-installed, tried, and tried again, to no avail. A few re-downloads later, still nothing. My iPad and Pencil work with all apps, but this one, (for rotating pieces). For fear of sounding dramatic, I feel as though I’ve lost a trusted calming, restorative companion that has helped me through a tough time. Any help on this is warmly embraced. Thank you.

If there is one thing I can’t stand, it’s false advertising! The ad that prompted me to download this game said right in it “no annoying ads”. After playing one game, there was an ad for this very game in which it said “no anoying ads”. Ok, maybe they don’t count ads for their own game as an ad..? But, before I could start the next game, there was another ad for an external app! Now I have no problem with ads. Developers need to earn a living. But be honest! If you’re going to advertise “no ads”, then there should be none! The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the game itself is pretty good. But I hate dishonesty so only 2 stars it is!

Edit: Unfortunately, I’m going to have to downgrade this another star. As if it wasn’t bad enough that that there are ads with an app that had advertised none, with the latest update, the ads are now even more frequent and some ads last A FULL MINUTE followed by a secondary screen which adds even more time. Another app gets greedy. Not surprised, but I am disappointed.

The ads are the only things preventing me from giving this 5 stars. The puzzles are fun and nice to look at and there are so many, but the frequency of video ads are over the top. You have to wait 5-10 seconds before being able to close an ad and this only opens up a second and sometimes a third part of the same ad. Sometimes clicking the x button takes you to the app store instead of closing the ad, a problem with most in-game ads. Sometimes while trying to select a puzzle piece I accidentally click the banner ad at the bottom because it’s too close to the pieces. Also, it is never acceptable for an ad to start with sound and cause apple music to pause. Most of the ads are trash anyway. I understand ads are necessary, especially for a free game without paying for the ad-free version but, again, the ad frequency is over the top.
