I received my cameras. First of all the commercial said that you receive a special for a certain price and I was overcharged. Secondly, when I received my cameras, they did not tell me that it doesn’t support 5G so when I hook them up, none of the cameras will connect. The camera connection to read time out. When I called the customer care line, she told me I needed to record the issue in order to receive my refund. I am using my cell phone for my cameras in which I cannot record the issue. Then I asked the lady to send me over to the billing department and she said she would have to email me where I would have to, go to that department. When I asked her to connect me, she hung up with me. This company is a fraudulent company and needs to be reported to the better business bureau if I had known prior before ordering these cameras, I would’ve never ordered them. Plus the battery wears down within a matter of 20 minutes after charging. I would advise anyone who was thinking about ordering these cameras to not purchase them.

Bought one and it was quite difficult to connect though it only took me 10mins to do so this camera is trash it is lightweight plastic I took it apart and used a TRW scan on it and it really is more of a device to steal information than it is a camera it really is funny too because the link that sends the info from your internet which is why it requires a 2G connection because that’s the only way it can work on such a low quality device it sends over all your information and the are dumb enough to connect all their own information and where the data goes in the link files did they expect no one to check this they must think foreign countries are dumb the funniest part was calling the number which was backed by the link and it was a chinese man who was denying the whole situation and then finally tried to explain it all in broken English saying that he no longer works for the company all in all this is just a camera they use to watch you instead of you watching something else

Well I wasted a heck of a lot of money with this purchase. I bought eight of these because it was a good deal and I cannot, absolutely cannot get it connected to my phone so I can’t use them. To mail them back, to mail them back to China, costs just as much as the original purchase price. I’ve tried this on other items that I got from Temu, it’s like, why am I bothering with this stuff? I bought 8 of the 64GB SD Cards. That was a waste of money. I have 8 cameras that cannot be used. They don’t hold the charge. I can’t even get it connected. It’s just a waste of time and money.

Says you can connect without Wi-Fi, but it doesn’t tell you that means YOU HAVE TO BE IN THE SAME ROOM. What do I need a camera for if I am sitting in the room I’m trying to monitor?!?! Battery dies super fast, but the camera doesn’t shut off when it’s plugged in. I was relieved to see that it can save to the SD card, but there is no way to set it up to do that. I have no way of knowing who keeps breaking in and stealing my belongings!!! App is UNBELIEVABLY NOT user friendly. Half of the words and instructions make no sense, and it’s obvious that whoever wrote this program does NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!!!! False advertising at it’s best. Useless!

Absolute garbage
I ordered one to try it. They sent me 22 more trying to send them back. Forget about it they give you a partial refund.
Been trying to set them up back-and-forth with their so-called customer service I have gotten as far as the directions could take me and done everything they have said none of it works no matter what you do. Best to work up to about 10 miles out of my home, then they totally disconnect and say, the camera battery is low
Even though the camera was hooked up to a power supply
The only thing that works is the magnet on the stand that came with the camera

The mini camera is terrible even if you save $40 because it’s “on sale” .. it’s one of those cases where you get what you paid for, but even in this case you’re getting ripped off. I’ve reached out to customer service for help and answers and will update this review if it warrants. The camera on/off switch doesn’t do anything so the camera is basically on all the time and the battery lasts all of 5 minutes if that. You can’t get the camera to connect to the internet so you can only use it while you’re both on the same network ..
again, I’ve reached out to the company to see about solving the issue ..

I’ve got 4 of these useless cameras installed on my iPhone (IOS 17+) and I have yet to get even one of them to do anything but stare straight ahead at whatever angle it decides to be in! I can’t even do anything else with my iPhone while this 1 camera is connected to my iPhone! At least with my 2 Ring doorbell cameras I can still easily switch back and forth between cameras And other apps on the fly. Unless someone can lead me to a non broken English video or text navigation with clear photos and text, my only option left is going to be trying to sucker someone else into taking these off my hands. 😤😡🤬

Order the 3 piece camera but the link to ftycampro would not take me directly to ftycampro . I then clicked on the google link in the add to take me to ftycampro and it said my phone wasn’t compatible ( iPhone 12) I then called within just over thirty minutes to cancel the order. Was told she would get back to me within a couple of hours by email. 8 hrs later was told it was already prepared for shipping. Sure it has!!! I’ll be disputing the charge and refusing delivery since it should have been cancelled when I called.I was also charged a warranty fee on each camera that the add said nothing about nor was it on the order summary. Very deceptive practice! 1 star is too much!

ftycampro has the worst Chinese to English translation I’ve ever seen! I did connect after connecting my phone to the cameras WiFi then entering my home WiFi info in ftycampro then back to settings to put phone back on my WiFi. I’m lucky enough to have a WiFi router that’s broadcasts both the 5g and 2.4G. Check yours, you may be able to turn that setting on in your modem admin. Or get a signal extender that will do 2.4g. Been around this circle with existing cameras (not this kind) they needed the extender anyways. I’m disgusted with the minimal to no info on using the camera. Not to mention when they sold it you don’t know what the “controller app” will be. Too bad others might see our woes BEFORE buying.

I bought this camera to be able to watch my elderly mother’s bedroom at night because she likes to wander. Firstly ftycampro is useless. It doesn’t give any instruction on how to pair the camera with ftycampro , nor are the instructions readable on the tiny page they give in the box.
They say to “have your order number ready” if you call support, but there is no order number on any of the materials in the packaging I received and I never even got an email after I ordered. Also it took 2 months for me to receive the camera. It’s tiny and plastic and lightweight so I doubt the lens itself is even glass.
Customer support didn’t answer- waited on hold for 45 minutes while cleaning the entire house.

Does not work. I’m guessing any review that says it does is a liar, being paid to lie. This camera says it is simple to use. Definitely not true for me at least, but the most disturbing thing, is the phone number given for technical support, if you get an answer which is rare, gets you to sales folks who tell you point blank they cannot help you, they are just sales. If you contact them by email given, they contact back sometimes, not often, with a canned message that shows no one has read your message, giving you a phone number that does not work and when you reply to say that, it sends the same message again with the same non working number.

Translation to English is horrible. This is the worst app/device I have ever tried to use. I can get to screen asking for: Device — Please enter device name (What device name am I supposed to enter?) DevID — please enter device ID (I need to know what the heck device name means) Password — Obvious as long as I know the device name/ID. The only way I can connect to this piece of crap is by connecting directly to iPhone and not through router. The direct connection to iPhone is insecure. I may as well invite the whole neighborhood to join in. I need to see if I can return this so the next fool can buy it.

Edit—This is what arrived with the SafeCam360 I ordered. There is no model number on box and nowhere does it say “SafeCam360” on the box.

I purchased 4 of these cameras. It took me a dozen tries before I was able to get two of the cameras up and running. After charging the devices, they both would only charge 3/4 of the way after a 24 hour period. Then I set the camera on its stand got everything up and running and after 10 minutes the camera was out of “fuel”. It automatically would shut itself down. I am VERY disappointed with this product. And I know that these cameras were shipped over from China, so I would have to pay for the complete return. I will have to buy another set of cameras but they will be American made!!! I’m so disappointed. I still have 2 unopened boxes that are worthless.

I purchased 2 in hopes that I would be able to have some sort of security while away. When they finally arrived I found them extremely difficult to get connected to my WiFi, the instructions were terrible and the voice prompts were very difficult to understand. I never was able to get the cameras connected to my WiFi. I was planning on returning them but even that was a hassle. They don’t provide any type of package to return the items, the buyer must purchase a new envelope and pay to have it returned to the sender. A complete hassle. They offered to refund half the purchase price because their return policy is a joke. Please do not spend your money on these cameras. I would rate these less than a 1 if there was that option.

I purchased 3 upfront, been trying for the last hour to get just the 1st camera to connect to my IPhone15.. and just like what the previous Reviewer stated, ftycampro states in Red “unable to connect to 5G”.. 🤷🏽‍♂️… I’ve had the cameras for over 2months now before trying to install them so I forget now how much I paid for all 3 but what I DO know that I’m now Out of My Hard Ended Money! 😡☹️.. on top of that a lot of the instructions are in Chinese 🤷🏽‍♂️… but I’ve seen plenty commercials for these cameras since I 1st ordered mine and I’ve noticed that they All have Different Brand Names and are Made by different Companies.. so I’m guess once the ORIGINAL made and advertised,.. then as usual out came the different companies with the KNOCKOFFS 😤🤨!! I only can hope that THIS COMPANY that made the cameras I have “this app” would do the right thing and Reimburse me my Money.. #DontBeFooledFolks

I fell for the hype, bought 4 cameras, I managed to get the camera connected directly via Bluetooth after 6 tries and but no view of anything. Went back in and set up the settings to connect to my network and nothing. Adjusted settings, everything I could find to try, I did. Then tried what was suggested to reconnect to my network and nothing happens. I now have 4 cameras that are lightweight pieces of trash that cost me way too much money for nothing. The cameras will not connect to 5G, so you must initially set them up to a 2G network. But that doesn’t work either. The instructions and interface are lacking and unhelpful. Very disappointed. I was really hoping that someone had truly solved paying ridiculous increases in monthly fees for wifi cameras that you are already paying for internet and have purchased the devices that previously worked with just a single fee account for setting up without the need to pay for a subscription .

I was able to get this to work, intermittently, but only on its own unique and insecure WI-FI signal. We have a very good nest WI-FI system that should have worked without a problem, everything else we have ever tried synced up easily. This camera wanted my Wi-Fi PSK number which concerns me with regard to the security of our system. This seems very suspicious that it requires this kind of access to my system or to use its own unsecured network. We buy these cameras to add security not create a portal into our secure environment.

I bought this camera from TikTok Shop, cameras do work great but to connect it was extremely mind boggling. My life saver was a review explaining how to connect.

•change your wifi to the FTC one (which is also the model name)
•go to app and select ‘connect to device’. It’ll connect automatically.
•select device settings and change WiFi info to your router + password
•change your phones WiFi back to your modem

Other complaint I have, I bought 4 cameras to view around my property when I’m out of town. The cameras (fully charged) will randomly turn off. The only way to turn them back on is to connect them to a charger. Also I can’t view the stream unless I’m under the same wifi (this irritates me the most).

All in all, I’d say these cameras are great as a starter when your short on cash. BUT they’re not a long term solution.

Okay, so first when you download app and turn camera on, go to WiFi settings click the one that starts with FTY once that’s done go back to app click the plus, connect to camera directly, if you cannot find the camera you can insert the name manually.. the FTY on your WiFi settings is the device id.. then once your connected, go to the actual camera settings while your still connected locally. Search for your WiFi and connect.. once that’s done you can add a device online and the camera will now connect to your WiFi. Now you can go back to your phone settings and change your WiFi back to yours.. super complicated but possible.

Ap needs an update. Keep saving my settings set up and it erases it every time you could have more options to do some more things maybe even a mirror option.
