Do not get this app and do not get a snap membership. The date wheel is broken, searching for your club is done not by location, buggy, errors pop up at all times. If a company can’t even produce a app that can get you past sign up with out the application having a melt down, then I doubt it will take care of its customers. The excuse that it is a pilot program is absurd, a brand new developer could create a better application that isn’t a head ache to use and would understand that releasing something that fundamentally does not work is not acceptable especially when it’s the only option to sign up with out physically going into the gym. If I could rate this as a 0/5 I would.

Their website FORCES YOU to use this app. There is no desktop/website way to log into your snap fitness account. It’s this app or nothing. This app does not recognize my email despite me receiving dozens of Snap Fitness advertisements in my email every month, because I am a member. So you click through the “forgot password/email” section and fill out an entire form only for it to tell you “ERROR for site owner: invalid domain for site key” where the reCAPTCHA check box is supposed to be when you submit the request to be able to log in. Lovely.

I’m a Snap Fitness member, and there are ads at the club to get the app, so I figured I would try it. I can’t even get my account set up because of an app bug: The app will not let me enter a home club location during setup, and that field is required. When I try to enter a location, the magnifying glass icon spins for a moment, then stops with no pop up location list, no suggested entry, no confirmation of any kind that I entered anything or didn’t. So I cannot move past the get started page, and thus have no ability to actually use the app at all: 1 star.
