3.3 out of 5
Crashing constantly

When browsing through workouts TeamBuildrTraining will just unexpectedly quit. Havenโ€™t experienced an app this unstable in quite some time, really unfortunate.

Workout wonโ€™t load

Each time I click on any day or any workout TeamBuildrTraining just closes. It freezes then just exits TeamBuildrTraining . I donโ€™t understand what I have to do in order to keep TeamBuildrTraining from closing. Iโ€™ve tried deleting it and redownloading it and the same things still happen. I enjoyed the old app much more than this as I never had any issues with it.

Continually cannot reach my workout

Please please please fix the caching of workouts- at MINIMUM the current active workout. Today alone in the span of an hour I couldnโ€™t access my workout for at least 20 minutes.

Poorly

I canโ€™t even register without it going to a blank screen

Kill Me

TeamBuildrTraining almost made me pass out and I hit my head off the ground. My teachers are forcing this on me and I canโ€™t take it anymore. Please end my suffering

Cant easy-join

When I type in all the codes and passwords for easy join and click submit it closes out TeamBuildrTraining . When I join back in the green button is still loading making it impossible to click. Only fixes when I delete app and redos load but the same cycle continues making it impossible to join.

App crashes 3 seconds after opening it

You canโ€™t even put in numbers because it crashes every 3-5 seconds. Trying to read a workout has become almost impossible. Not sure what update you did but itโ€™s ridiculous. Itโ€™s unmanageable

.

Iโ€™ve gotten my password changed and I still canโ€™t login. Everytime I try to sign in it says create a new account but I know I have one, Iโ€™ve had one for the past 2 years. I also try to use my google sign in and same issue. It wants me to make a new account and the button just keeps loading not allowing me to click it.

Bug

I canโ€™t make a new account. Iโ€™m stuck at the registration window where it says, โ€œEnter the necessary details below to create a new account.โ€
Once I enter my details, the screen freezes and I canโ€™t go any further.

Bring back the old app!

The old app is so much nicer than this one. When I look at my calendar on a month by month basis, the months are never in the right order. Itโ€™ll go like October 2022, November 2022, March 2023. This is just one example, it always happens and itโ€™s always out of order. Sometimes it doesnโ€™t show the little green, yellow, or red dots under the days too, which is super annoying. Iโ€™m going to stick with the old Teambuildr app for as long as I can.

Group messages are awful

As a workout distribution this works great. But the group messages shouldnโ€™t even be integrated to TeamBuildrTraining if itโ€™s this awful. Chats donโ€™t all show up. Times sent are just not correct and you have to leave and re-enter TeamBuildrTraining to have a conversation in your group. Makes TeamBuildrTraining experience fall tremendously and overshadows the good TeamBuildrTraining does have. Makes it feel buggy and unfinished.

Forgot Password function does not work

Iโ€™m a college student athlete who uses TeamBuildrTraining for weights. Itโ€™s fine and gets the job done, but I recently got logged out and I canโ€™t remember my password for the life of me. I know, my fault I forgot it. But I keep trying the โ€œforgot passwordโ€ option and when it asks me to enter an email, it claims a link has been sent for me to reset it when nothing has been sent. Iโ€™ve tried this at least 10 times! Teambuildr people please fix this!

Canโ€™t use

App is REALLY good when it works but I canโ€™t use TeamBuildrTraining for more than 5 seconds before TeamBuildrTraining crashes. Not sure why itโ€™s happening to me as my coaches other clients donโ€™t experience this. I have plenty of storage free on my phone too (42GB free)

Finally got kicked off the old app

When the new app/ design came out ages ago I initially disliked it because it was just more complicated for no reason. Takes up more space on the screen with less color which ultimately just makes it feel less organized and harder to digest what youโ€™re looking at. Also unfortunately I now have to press the workout button instead of just opening TeamBuildrTraining and already being shown my workout so thereโ€™s an extra 0.5 seconds which is just kinda inconvenient.

I get that you canโ€™t keep old things up and running for forever but man it was just so much better.

Very buggy

there are sooooo many bugs. The calendar is weirdly glitchy and the journal feature will regularly delete what I have written. It also wonโ€™t connect to my wearable fitness thing (I have an OURA ring).

Temperamental app

Every time I open it to try and access the workoutsโ€ฆor anything for that matter I canโ€™t. Less than 30 seconds after opening TeamBuildrTraining , it force closes itself. Iโ€™ve updated TeamBuildrTraining and it continues to do the same thing. Whatโ€™s the point of TeamBuildrTraining if it wonโ€™t even stay open long enough for me to do anything.

Crashes

I try to open TeamBuildrTraining but just today it started to not work I would open TeamBuildrTraining then it would close right away

Crashes before it loads

1.2.11 does not work with IOS 16.1.1 at all. I open TeamBuildrTraining , it tries to load, it crashes and closes TeamBuildrTraining on its own. I like TeamBuildrTraining and use it every week. Please fix soon.

Same issue with 16.1.2, completely unusable now

App wonโ€™t stay open

Worked great at first but now TeamBuildrTraining wonโ€™t open.

My review

Hi, Iโ€™m a high school student who uses TeamBuildrTraining for my lifting class. When I am using it since sometimes the data here is not good it is hard to continue and log my workouts. Overall I think that this is a good workout app because it is assigned by an instructor and TeamBuildrTraining tracks your progress. After using this this past 2 weeks I think that you should use this if you are a high school athlete but not if you are trying to do this in your own because it requires a trainer to do these workouts. I think that TeamBuildrTraining was very easy and effective to use because it left me feeling accomplished but with enough energy to do my homework. Also it was short and left me time to go run and do something else on my own for a little while to challenge myself more. Sadly, TeamBuildrTraining does not download on the Apple Watch but it still is pretty good to use on your phone.

Dark mode wonโ€™t stay on

TeamBuildrTraining is mostly good, but if you turn on dark mode in settings it goes back to light mode as soon as you close TeamBuildrTraining and open it again.

Latest Update

The latest update is not good. Workouts take forever to load. Trying to track progress within TeamBuildrTraining results in a spinner. Itโ€™s easier to use the website on my phone compared to TeamBuildrTraining .

Update: The most recent update fixes the issues listed above. Updated my review. Thanks!

Perfect app

TeamBuildrTraining is perfect for people who want to work out consistently or really any time.

Love the new app!

I recently downloaded the new app, and Iโ€™m very happy with it! Iโ€™m especially excited about the timer feature- THANK YOU!

Great App

I started using Teambuildr my freshman year of high school and have been using it for the past three years. It has a very sleek UI and is easy to navigate. Moreover, It is good for beginners as certain workouts come with tutorials. As for anyone else, it keeps track of your weight set by set as it should and has never been buggy/glitchy. Definitely recommend using this.

Great app

Runs great and has a visual appeal. It is a big upgrade from the last app.

Responsive Support

The development and production team were efficient and helpful with a few display bugs I found in the newest version. I have confidence in the teams continued success with their platform!

So happy with this update!!

Iโ€™ve always been a happy user of TeamBuildr, but TeamBuildrTraining takes it to the next level. TeamBuildrTraining is so much easier to use and looks great. I love how I am able to quickly add videos and notes to my workouts now, as well as the new Wearables feature. Thank you TeamBuildr!

Best training software for trainers and coaches

I recently used TeamBuildr and had an issue with messaging. I contacted their support team and they were able to quickly identify and fix the problem in their next update. Overall, I am very pleased with TeamBuildrTraining and the level of customer service provided by TeamBuildr. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive workout and training platform

Good

Pretty good app I love the idea of it and hope they continue to improve. I do wish the wearables portion worked better. I have a garmin right now and itโ€™s practically useless on TeamBuildrTraining . I bet if you had an Apple Watch it would work flawlessly though.
