App keeps restarting and doesn’t backup anything. So disappointed as it’s such a great idea. I wanted it especially for the scan function but it’s not worth the price.

ClickFree was presented as a way to store, share and scan photos. Can’t do anything with ClickFree without access to contacts. Can’t see why access to contacts has anything to do with pictures. Invasion of privacy and who else gains access to contacts. Terrible misrepresentation of app.

I did photo scanning of almost 600 photos on my iPhone that I can’t get access to. When I try and open icon to open all my photos that I took pics it immediately closes. It was working great until last batch of photos. It didn’t even scan to device it looks like it saved them in the this app app. It says briefly something with memory then closes.
I tried accessing from my laptop and doesn’t even show up for me to retrieve that way either. Hours of scanning for nothing. Thank God I didn’t throw out my photos. Now I have to come up with another way of digitizing my memories.

terrible product doesn’t work very well hard to understand every time you plug it in it starts to back up the same photos that it just backed up

I bought this to free up storage on my iPhone to avoid more iCloud storage, transferred my photos and now can’t open any of them, but I’m sure they’ve got all my contacts! Expensive, useless ripoff of consumers. Shame on you!

Your recent update on ClickFree completely messed it up. I put all my pictures and videos on the this app and now ClickFree won’t let me open anything, it just closes ClickFree out when I try to click on a picture or video. That is not normal. ClickFree was working perfectly and your update ruined it. You guys need to do another update like right now because I need to be able to view my pictures and videos on ClickFree . Please fix asap!!!

Photos take forever to upload, keep restarting, can not use other apps while using this one. Bought two and will be returning the other one. Only reason why this one won’t be returned is because some of my files are on it. I do not know what glitched they fixed but they must’ve made it worse. Done with all these companies making crappy products and then promise to fix. I’m going back a landline and a cd rom😂. More dependable

only downloads a small amount of my photos at a time and it does it at random so i don’t know what i can delete off my phone. Tried about 100 times and ClickFree just crashes

Tried for 7 hours and all it does is load! Says it’s only backed up 10 files of 268! Worthless! Plugged it into my computer, USB, and not readable! Lost all my photos! Don’t buy this because of ClickFree ! Should’ve read reviews!

It took multiple tries to get a backup completed of the photos on my iPhone. Now when I plug the device into my phone and try to do a backup, it either shows “Error - Storage full” or just sits there and spins with a “Loading” message.

When I try to view files stored on the this app+ device from my phone, it shows no files. Great idea, but not ready for prime time!

Waste of time and money!

I was gifted this product in 2023. The first time that I used it, it was effortless and I transferred all my data in minutes. I am trying again a year later and ClickFree is absolutely horrible! It crashes constantly in between the data transfer. I keep restarting and trying and it crashes every single time. I can’t complete the process. Its clear that the company has neglected the functionality of ClickFree which is evident by the low review rating. What a shame! It worked great a year ago, now its a waste and I am concerned that I won’t be able to access my previously saved files in the future with a non working app.

Will not connect to iPhone 15 pro. Keeps saying connect device when already connected to this app. It appears only positive reviews are from a promotion and reviewers were benefited by reviewing. Norton 360 says not to use website. Security concern!!

To address the issues that others have found:

This external backup seems to work the same way as my other backup drives for my Mac devices, requiring some patience especially for the first backup.

* One has to constantly keep the screen active by touching the screen or touchpad (i.e., don’t let your screen go to sleep) to keep the backup drive from locking up.* I know this isn’t convenient for a busy schedule! But maybe do the backup when you’re sitting in one place, hopefully watching a good movie. ;)

For years, I’ve found this happens with my computer’s primary external backup drives, which are more complex than the CF thumb drive.

*If the CF locks up, then disconnect the device, restart ClickFree , and start over. But the prior photos you had already downloaded will load faster because they’re already in the CF drive.*

Annoying? Yes!!! But there’s a workaround.

While I’ve just now used the CF to back up my photos, I haven’t tried accessing and ordering prints from it yet. Keeping my 3 stars until then, and I’ll update my review if I have any further issues or compliments or issues.

is it possible to backup other files from the device downloads or files from apps like procreate. backup is nice but other files besides pictures, contacts would be nice

Plug it in and it works perfectly. Can not ask for anything more!

Can’t believe how easy it is to use! Finally I can backup the thousands of photos locked up in my iPhone and not have to worry about losing them in the “cloud”!

Plugged in the device. Launched ClickFree . Tapped backup everything. After a while it was done and all my pictures and videos were backed up. Can’t ask for anything more than that.

I love ClickFree. It allowed my to save 15 plus years of previous memories. I love that it remembers what it stored so after the first backup it takes only seconds. The only thing is that I forgot to allow permission for ClickFree to access photos and was initially confused. After I figured that out it’s super smooth.

I feel so much better because my phone was broken and I couldn’t see what was on the screen. I was able to use this and crave every single photo and video. My daughters first dance recital my sons hockey game I would absolutely go crazy if I didn’t have this and make sure that it was right in my hand. I highly recommend experience

I bought this item and it absolutely love it! I am able to transfer what I need from my phone!
