I had the old app, paid for a class to knit my first sweater by Caddie Ledbetter. With this new app, it won’t accept my sign in information, I can’t change my password because it doesn’t recognize my email that I know is right, and I now have no access to that sweater pattern. Very bad for this app! The older version was much easier to use, but I cannot access that pattern there either!! I’m in the middle of knitting a vest using that same pattern by memory. I need finishing instructions for the neckline and placement of sleeve area. What to do?

Years ago I downloaded Craftsy and added to ‘my stuff’ many classes and patterns that I was looking forward to using once I retired. When I went to open my account, I discovered everything was gone and now I must pay to access the classes. I was really looking forward to using these classes. I had already downloaded these classes when they were free; I should have been ‘grandfathered’ in. I won’t pay to use Craftsy and will be deleting it.

Internet connection seems to be required to maintain a login which defeats the purpose of being able to download and view classes when offline. I have downloaded the same class more than once to view later as I don’t have a connection unless I find a hotspot. Each time after getting home and ready to view the class discovered it had logged me out and deleted my downloads as they were gone when I got logged back on.

I have been a member of this app, then Bluprint, then this app (again) for MANY years (long enough to purchase over 200 classes) and I absolutely LOVE the platform.
Unfortunately, this is the most disappointing and utterly useless app they have ever created. I cannot play class videos nor will it allow me to download videos. Both the original this app and Bluprint apps worked just fine. This one is simply heartbreakingly disappointing.

So far, I’m not impressed. I downloaded a bunch of my classes to view offline, but today when I went to view them there’s nothing there and I’m unable to navigate offline. I was waiting for Craftsy before I decided to commit to the TN Mktg version of this app since I’ve been with this app/Bluprint for quite some time. I’m hesitant to buy in until whatever glitch is not allowing me to view offline is fixed.

I have been accumulating classes over years in several categories. The classes are great, but Craftsy provides no option to organize or even search my own classes. Huge waste of time - I’m deleting Craftsy - back to my browser where I can do those things.

I have been in contact with the company for over a month about the same issues I have been having. Craftsy won’t download the classes at all it keeps saying failed and that’s under download. They can’t tell me how to correct it nor do they know how themselves. I have been a premium member for years and I enjoyed the first app they had compared to this one. In the first app you could watch the videos with downloading them. Craftsy is useless and a waste of space because all the workers can do is send you a picture of a step by step of the stuff you already know.

I have a premium membership & was delighted to see Craftsy until I tried to use it. It will not allow me to view any content unless I purchase a class, or pay $7.99 a month in addition to the $79 I already paid for a year of premium membership which is supposed to allow me to watch all content.

I kept up to date uninstalled and reinstalled and still won’t load it was working and now it’s not tried logging into my account on site and can’t log in. I have free one year membership threw T-Mobile.

I have many purchased classes from this app and have had a membership since the beginning. Craftsy is pointless since you have to download the lessons to view them. Just go onto their website to view the classes. The most frustrating aspect is that, after contacting support, I received no worthwhile help. One person explained how to download a class, which was NOT the question. After that, nothing. Just use the website!

lets me download purchases and they look like they are there until app is logged out. after logging back in they are all gone again. dont always jhave access to internet and not being able to KEEP the downloads in Craftsy is very problematic.

on another note Craftsy doesnt open to login screen. have to search and find to login.

Craftsy is not ready for prime time. Some of my purchased classes in My Stuff get error messages when I access them.

Downloads of classes are very flaky. Sometimes segments not downloaded show up as downloaded and other times tapping on the download button does not initiate a download. Also, downloads are very slow.

When the bugs are improved, I will re-rate the application.

I downloaded it and thought I could watch how to videos but you can only watch them if you subscribe at a fee if $8.00 Per month. No thanks. Just wish you were different than everyone else. It’s easy to search what I want and watch a free video on it which helps when you are financially strapped

I am enjoying several segments on knitting and sewing at present. The teachers are clearly experienced and great guides (Magic Loop Knitting is very good indeed). However there are brief spots in various videos that would benefit greatly from an overhead camera angle as we are seeing details from table level on a slant. I am able to follow the instructors but find it a bit annoying that I cannot see very distinctly the particular details. As I said, mostly the videos are quite good and you can definitely learn from them.

I love this app! So nice to be able to watch gardening and weaving classes on my phone. It’s very easy to use and save classes for watching later. Please provide even more weaving classes!

Excellent service. Nice that you can learn in a variety of hobbies. The expertise of instructors seems to be very high and the quality of the videos is great. They seem to be working on the downloading of PDF supplements, so that will be nice to have in Craftsy .
