CutList Optimizer V2 Reviews

Easy to use. It’s great that I was able export a pdf to my phone of my measurements and plans for my plywood cuts. However, after days had passed I went to refer to the pdf and it opened up a blank white page. So…now I have to go back to square one and redo my measurements. I was relying on CutListOptimizerV2 to be functional so I don’t have my original measurements anymore. I have to go back to the customer to re take measurements.

I wish CutListOptimizerV2 would let you manually arrange the pieces. While I appreciate it trying to be efficient, i would like to organize it my own way. I cut lots of foam so grain does not matter to me. I think CutListOptimizerV2 is on the right track but lacks this feature.

This is described in CutListOptimizerV2 Store as CutList Optimizer V2, but it’s actually Smart Cut, which is actually an inferior product that doesn’t allow metric measurements and is not the same experience. It’s probably okay if you’ve never used the ORIGINAL CutList Optimizer, but otherwise, stick with the real CutList Optimizer V1

Looks to be a great easy app except no where does it state the unit of measurement.

CutListOptimizerV2 is superbly done. Data entry is easy and logical. For a detailed look at your cut list go all the way to EXPORT PDF there you can see all the data on screen and cut locations and you can print it if you like.

The only thing better than CutListOptimizerV2 is the developers response to help out. I had a few questions and they got right back to me and were happy to answer. If I knew how to write APP's this is the one I would write. Also no strong arming for free trials and whatnot. Rest assured if a pro version appears I will buy it without hesitation. But I can't imagine it getting much better than it is.

CutListOptimizerV2 maximizes the best cut options for your sheet materials. Easy to use and straight forward. If you have any questions, the creator of CutListOptimizerV2 gets back to you pretty quickly with a response. With the elevated costs of plywood these days you absolutely need to get the most out of your money!

CutListOptimizerV2 is easy to use and the developer is very responsive if you have a problem (or think you do). CutListOptimizerV2 is much easier to use than paper and pencil with a calculator.

I have used different (paid) apps, and no one organizes cuts like CutListOptimizerV2, I compare same list of cuts and, it saves aprox 20% over other apps. It’s a small price for big savings

It was a breeze to use, error handling too is excellent. Suggest to ask user if they prefer to save longer piece or squarer piece for app to decide part placement. Other than than excellent.

Well done and straightforward to use. Adding a save feature would make it even better. I would pay for CutListOptimizerV2.
