It is extremely unlikely that this many people rated HairTry above 4 stars organically. Free online AI does a much better job than HairTry, which does little more than crudely superimpose a selfie on top of a poor resolution image of a haircut.

Hair Try? More like Don’t Try. This was literally so bad, it didn’t even try to blend in with my face. If you have long hair and are debating on cutting it shorter, HairTry won’t help because any picture you take or upload it crops to a 1:1 square shoulders up so you can’t even see the majority of your hair anyways. It’s messy, blurry, fuzzy, and just looks like terrible editing. I could do better by finding a photo online and photoshopping that hairstyle onto my face. Not even worth the download or your time, sorry.

I tried the free trial option to get more hair color options because I've been thinking of dying it. When I was done I went to cancel the free trial before it charged me and found it is not there under my subscriptions. There is no other way to cancel the subscription so now I'm getting charged $30 for an app that barely even works. Thanks guys.

Not sure what it was, my face was properly lit up and my hair off to the side. Maybe HairTry is worse at doing men? Whatever the cause, parts of my jaw were cropped out, as well as an eyebrow, the merging of the hairstyle onto my image was very botched. This was the case for every hairstyle I tried.

didn’t like it at all, HairTry doesn’t even try to slightly match a hairline or fit the style with the shape of a head. Don’t bother getting it, I immediately cancelled the subscription.

it would be great if HairTry didn’t change my ears and they brought back the option to use imported hair styles. Previously HairTry didn’t touch my eyebrows but now it is changing them. Was a 3 star app but the options taken away and deterioration of HairTry has made it only deserve two stars. Would be better to roll back the back to what it was six months ago.

It edits your face to look more like the models, so it’s not really an accurate idea of how you will look with the hair style. I have a round face and it was elongating and thinning down around the jawline in the try on photo. Fun to play around with but not very useful. Also doesn’t have many options with bangs which is what I was mostly interested in.

It changes your face shape when you add the hairstyle. Also many of the good hairstyles are the ones you have to “unlock” by paying for it. The only good thing is you can change the color. But there are limited hair color choices. Either really dark brown or light blonde.

Loading each type of hairstyle takes time and the colors/styles are really not very realistic.

It only has like 5 neutral color options. I don’t recommend it has adds before you can see any color

You have very few short cuts to choose from. Grey/silver hair applies poorly.

Honestly yes it’s bad but please keep HairTry up because I kinda like it ? Like One of the hairstyle looks good on me I just edit it up a bit because it messs up like Half of my neck of side face and HairTry takes out your background I don’t rlly mind but ya it’s bad but I NEED IT bc one looks good on me

Thank you thank you THANK YOU for making HairTry. This is so accurate and any hair I choose blends in so well. I always thought I wasn’t attractive until I chose a different hairstyle!! I put in my own picture of someone’s hair and it worked so well. HairTry is completely free, though you need to watch ads in between, which is TOTALLY FINE BECAUSE ITS FREE AND WORKS!!! You don’t know how long I’ve searched for an app that lets you see yourself with different hairstyles that’s completely free. God bless bc HairTry literally saved my life 💗💗 GETTING MY HAIRCUT TMR

Really good app. No money needed for the basic hairstyles and easy to use.
