Nonstop advertising required to advance - disposable game

by SuperCell In CC
This game may be good for a couple of days until you realize that it costs a fortune just to advance. I spent almost $200 in a weekend and did not hardly advance. As you advance it gets a lot lot lot more expensive. I had to use 100 energy to clear bushes to get a cheap bag of fertilizer that I can make on my farm anyway. There is not a lot of room on the playing field to put all the buildings so you are forced to chop away trees and bust open rocks and buy dynamite just to make room for some of the stupid buildings. The buildings cost a lot of gold. In addition, they charge you gold to plant crops that take a very long time to grow, except for the wheat and the soy and the corn.
The developers have set you up to failed, so don’t bother with this one. You can play a very long advertisements to possibly get 20 energy. The advertisements are extremely buggy and it can take over five or 10 minutes just to escape from the advertisements.
There are plenty of ad free games out there so I would not choose this one. Save your time and save your energy and mostly save your cash cash because they do not deserve it.
If money is no object, then you might actually like the game. The graphics are decent and the storyline is a bit lame.
I work way too hard for my money to waste it on this ridiculous game.
So many technical issues

I haven’t had this software very long but I will tell you it has a lot of technical issues. Your fennel consistently gets stuck. Be aware, that I recently completed the Bloom event. After you complete all the missions at the end you get a rose. Once you fertilize that rose, after the event it turns into energy. Well, I was not able to upgrade the rose even though I had completed all missions. I submitted yet another ticket and attached pictures showing that it wasn’t that I didn’t do everything. There were 5 hours remaining in the event. The response I received this morning was: We no path indicates that it is blocked. Clearly a glitch as the Picture was plain as day that they was nothing blocking it. So, they forfeited everything I worked towards. Then, today my stupid fennel is stuck yet again… the response to my ticket??? They will be conducting maintenance that will take over a day to fix the dumb fennel. Save your time, energy and frustration… try something that doesn’t have so many issues or cheat you!
too expensive to play

ive spent about 50 dollar in 3 days... you have to use "energy " just to move around in the game. you have to use energy to unblock paths so you can walk around. and they cost like 20-30 to move. you might as well just save up your real life money and buy a console and video game. id rather pay once for the entire game and not have any in-app purchases. youd have to be a high-class, retired, or living off government assistance to play this game where you have unlimited funds...hope you've enjoyed the 50 dollars ive spent...delete..on to something new...I understand developers have family of their own to feed..but so do the customers...thats just greedy...back to GTA 5 I go. should have just saved this game for Apple Arcade...would have been perfect...this game is honestly awesome and customers dont have to wory about the in app purchases. I would subscribe a yearly fee just for this.... $50 every 3 days...nah, im good id rather spend $40+ on 2 lobster tail dinner at Outback Steakhouse.
In-game support gives wrong instructions

by Lalene01
I wanted to restart my game, but the only way to do this is by submitting a support request. I followed the in-game instructions to submit the request through “privacy protection request/DPO contact. So, I did, then received an email 2 1/2 days later that I didn’t submit the request properly. I FOLLOWED THEIR OWN INSTRUCTIONS!
The email I received indicated the correct way to make a request is through “Game question”. So, instead of just providing accurate information in the 1st place, or merely forwarding the request to the proper area, they’ve put the responsibility on the player.
I’ve started a new game on a different gaming platform. I’m not actively playing it, but will check back in a couple months to see if they’ve at least bothered to update their own instructions in the support area. If they have, I’ll update my review.
Don’t get me wrong I like this game but I would like to know who bright idea was it to have glass as an ingredient to make ice cream and can they cook. I was cool with everything until I got to that point… Why are there so many orders that include ice cream that can not be made because I can’t build the glass shop because I can’t the parts I need have to be gotten from the orders, brilliantly stupid idea… I have been playing this game for awhile now but I can nit get past the bridge on path of hero’s because the orders can’t be filled to get the parts because of ridiculous ingredients, sorry to say I’m about to delete this game sadly before I can finish it…..
Where to begin?

First, the game is NOTHING like the preview. No dehydrated creatures, no ditch digging, no chests underwater. Second, I completed mapped quests months ago. All that’s left is mini quests. The mapped mini quests are good, but some of the resources needed are behind locked gates. The items needed to open the gates are almost impossible to get for free, and have to be gotten from chests with keys that are just as impossible to get, so you have to purchase the keys. CON. Third, I also purchased every production item months ago. Some of them can be upgraded with gems, but some of the resources needed to mine the gems (pickaxes) are also hard to get unless…you guessed it…you purchase them. One of the buildings produces items that are superfluous. Not one item ever needed. Because the mapped quests are completed, it’s hard to maintain materials needed for production. You can purchase SOME of those resources, using energy, but the batches are very small and require multiple purchases to make a difference. Fourth, there is a locked gate on the island. Beyond that gate is another set of buildings shrouded in fog. The massage when clicking the gate says you have to expand your farm to open, but expand to where and how? Fifth, the crop plots cannot be upgraded and some of the crops take a long time to grow. You can speed them up with fertilizer but, again, it’s a rare find.
Not many puzzles; asks for money on the daily

by Shcnnjk😊
Unfortunately, this is more of a sim game where you have a farm that you maintain as opposed to the advertised puzzle game. You work your way to get access to other lands. There are occasional puzzles but very basic.
IslandHoppers is beautiful and the sounds are relaxing, but I still deleted IslandHoppers .
There are several prompts that ask you to buy additional gems, coins, and/or energy every time you open IslandHoppers . Due to the limited energy you get, the play time is limited since you have to use significant energy to remove barriers. Example: I’ll have 51 energy points when I open IslandHoppers the first time in a day. Some of the barriers will take 60 energy points to remove, and there are several barriers for each incremental goal. I’d say the average takes 18 energy points, so you’ll still have to take a break from the game as it replenishes your energy. If the energy cache was bigger or the amount required to remove barriers were smaller, IslandHoppers would be better but still lack puzzles. It’s a pretty yet mindless game.
Just short of fun

This game has a lot going for it. It is laid out well and keeps interest. However the purchases made are not always wise or do much. On quests you would think findingo a treasure chest would pay huge rewards. They do not and in many cases I have skipped them to save energy points. The Golden pass is a complete waste of cash as is investing time in some of these special events. The resources are not worth the reward and you barely break even. This game would be much more fun with a good map of levels as well as more rewards for tasks done. In game purchases will make you go broke given the amount of energy points awarded through the game no where near equal what is needed to complete quests. Really close to being a blast. It looks like someone is greedy who developed this and wants quick cash rewards instead of entertaining people or long term play. Sad.
From great to meh fast

This game started out great and had a lot going for it, but after a couple of days the game went from making it easy to get energy to keep playing to only offering small recharges and consuming large amounts of energy quickly. The builds also went from quick builds to get resources to complex builds that take hours to complete to get a single part of a multiple resource requirement. Special events seemed fun at first but I soon found that they too were nearly impossible to complete, even with paying for some of it, in a reasonable amount of time. What could be a great game and one that I was initially willing to invest time and money into has now been deleted from my phone. It’s a shame that the developers programmed this game to get increasingly stingy and tedious. I was intrigued by the storyline, but it was not enough to compensate for the frustration brought on by the games greed.
This adventure game had promise with its story line of Emily trying to rescue her brother Jonathan but it has evolved into just slogging through obstacles after obstacles with the intent of eating up your energy. Puzzles are simplistic and predictable with no real challenges. Like I said before, the whole point behind this game is to convince you to buy resources to advance in the game. Yes you can play the game with the in game free energy sources but they are eaten up so fast making your way through endless obstacles, you get frustrated enough to perhaps buy additional energy? I admit that I did buy some resources but even they disappeared rapidly so the incentive to play the game is diminished substantially because they need to purchase more energy all the time overshadows the enjoyment of playing the game.

I like the concept of the game however your energy gets maxed out and doesn’t keep going so when I go to bed thinking you’ll have loads of energy to just clear the rocks but nope you don’t for me with my level it’s 53 energy most big rocks need 65 some other objects are 70 plus I don’t know if you get further in the game if it goes up or not and most of the side challenges I can’t beat because it takes so many energy I can never get enough to finish you can’t even clear enough stuff to make energy and getting things like the rake shovel ect takes forever I’ll play a little longer and probably just delete it I’m not paying for the energy I thought was going to my energy instead of the piggy bank
Dumb game! The drawings/animation are ok. But…

Played the first scene. She (you) just clears out a bunch of stuff in her path while a lazy guy (her guide) stands or sits around watching. Maybe someone thought it was a good idea to have a strong female character. But it’s actually demeaning to women to make it look like it’s ok for them to do all the work, while a lazy man sits by, even if it is heavy labor and not house work (or maybe even more so). But overall, it was just too boring to waste my time going further. It’s probably ok for 7 or 8 year olds. But if the first is an indication it’s probably not setting a good role model. Feminism makes it like girls should be completely independent and never lean on anyone especially a man. Anti-feminism is just the opposite. Why not some happy medium where men are gentlemen, but ladies aren’t helpless idiots either?

Was looking for something a little different then card games, candy crushing, and merging. While this seems to have an okay story line the amount of wild goose chases for chests, and countless huge energy amounts needed to be capable of playing the game for longer then 2 minutes has me questioning why I am even allowing this game to take up so much space on my device. I understand you can get energy from the main farm but all the crap you are removing to advance in the game does not give you any decent amount of fruit or nuts. This game was fun for the first week and now it’s just annoying. It takes longer for the game to load each time then I spend playing it.

If not for the fact that you constantly run out of energy and can't really play very long at any given time it could get a higher rating. However, like a lot of games this one wants you to spend tons of money and that's not happening. The game lasted maybe three days and then I finally came to my senses and deleted it. It's impossible to make progress at a decent rate unless you spend real world money. I hate waiting for things. It really could be a fun game if you didn't need energy to do everything and if building things didn't require a bunch of supplies. Also if growing things and making things didn't sometimes take forever.
OK if you don't mind only playing for 5 minutes at a time

You have to be really careful to not waste gems refilling your energy as there's a popup that frequently comes up right under your finger so if you click too fast you spend your hard earned gems on energy. The game is fun but there's an energy resource that makes it impossible to play for longer than 5 minutes (there are a few ways to replenish your energy but they don't last long). It takes about an hour to refill so you can always just click once or twice every hour if you want to play.

This game is the one I’ve been looking for. It’s gorgeous, interesting, much more than just clearing the land, the animals are adorable and the variety keeps me playing. But, somewhere around level 10 the items to clear went from around 10-20 energy to clear to 60-80. No mandatory item should take more to clear than your energy cap. I am willing to buy gems to speed things up, or to get cute decorations, but to just follow the main story line isn’t a place that should ever need gems. And developers, before you suggest the other ways to make energy, the fruit and nuts aren’t generous enough to get through the main story line either if it takes four 60 energy bushes just to get a few steps ahead. Please fix this. You have the best game ideas I have seen and could have a really successful brand happening.
Disappointed.

I thought this was going to be fun at first, and building the farm is - but some of the puzzles in the alternate locations are just a nightmare. I spent ages going through every possible move for the lighthouse - several times over, even though I couldn't see where the exit was supposed to be, as the instructions were blocking the bottom of my screen and couldn't be moved. No matter what I did, it wouldn't open up the next stage (seeing into the shipwreck) and there are no clues or help offered to resolve this - which means no way ever to move on to a different location, as far as I can tell!
I was sure I'd solved another puzzle correctly, but nothing happened, so I closed the game and re-opened it - at which point it suddenly showed as solved. But that trick didn't work with the lighthouse. I'm feeling that there must be too many glitches and bugs, perhaps because it's a complex game - but hints to resolve problems would really help. There are so many bits of info available dotted about the farm, which is great - but no help getting out of a dead end situation with an unsolvable puzzle.
It’s a good game

My only complaint is that the game is set up to force you to purchase packs. It starts out fun, a good pace, energy being available when you need it to keep the story moving along, but then you hit a point where all you can do is farm until your energy resets. You can’t move forward with quests, you can’t add things to the farm, you can’t even clean up, you can’t even fill orders because you don’t have the items needed because you need resources you can’t get because you’re out of energy. Then, when your energy does reset, you don’t even have enough to get the resources to make one object needed for an order. It comes to a point where you truly have to pay to play the game. It would be nice if you could move along one story line, either the quests or the work on the farm, without needing to purchase energy.
Only on level 13 and I’m already frustrated with the game

I really liked the game at first, but when I passed level 10 it kept getting more difficult to hold on to energy. You only get 50 energy every hour and some little grass pieces are 5 then 5 then 25 then a patch of dirt that’s 65 energy… what?!? The urns don’t help much as they only replenish 1-4 energy and your pet only replenishes 7 every so often. I never collect enough fruit to replenish energy and now I’m losing coins on top of that too. I had 50,000 coins and now I’m at 5,000 because of everything I had to buy and plant. The mini games are fun but you have to wait 8 hrs just to play again to get 40-50 extra energy. It is very annoying to have to quit every few minutes just to get through a level. Maybe I’ll go back to Klondike, at least they had spend energy to get energy events frequently that kept me interested. I’m not going to waste real money when my fake money gets spent so quickly. Please make this game less expensive both in energy and coins. Thank you.
I have been playing this game for a while. I am on level 49. At first it was very easy to complete things such as deliveries and quests. Now some quests can only be completed if you purchase items. I find myself constantly waiting for energy to fill up so I can get all the items needed to proceed to the next level. Plus you can only send 5 gifts per day to friends, so if you have more than 5 friends you are stuck. I really liked this game in the beginning when it was called Island Questaway. Also I have never come across a level where you draw your finger across to make ditches for water so that advertisement is so far false. I used to play it more often as the plots were interesting. But now it takes so long to get through quests and side stories waiting for energy it has become boring. Also a supposed annual event happens almost weekly. I will probably continue to play once a day for a while before I retire this game.
Lovely but expensive

by Akajonesy
While I agree with other comments that the game is quite lovely with wonderful graphics and fluid storyline; I must disagree that the game moves along without in game purchases. After about level 15 it becomes practically impossible to not spend $$ to keep up. The rewards during play are not sufficient to keep up with planting, building, and maintaining the farm. It is almost laughable how minuscule the rewards are within the game. Enormous piles of coins gets you only 20-30 in your pocket, and giant urns of energy another 20-30, but you’ll be expected to crash through a boulder that requires 50 energy, and you’ll burn through all this coins to plant your next set of crops. Energy runs out so quickly you cannot even finish one room within the game, meaning you cannot feed to energy boost items. I have remained at a static level of money for multiple levels and not able to replenish it fast enough to balance out the cost of planting crops.
It is a fun game but to stay active will require you part with your own dollars, which will only prolong the inevitable need to do so again and again.
Love the set up & function but..

As much as I love the concept of this game and the set up, it takes entirely to long to accumulate energy to play. Also the energy points go way to fast. The homestead requires work to clear out to make room and specific items to build with minimal slots to produce, fill orders and build plus energy required to clear land means you spend majority of your time waiting around unless you have tons of money to advance. I’ve spend $50 in the past 5 days to basically accumulate nothing and make it past 4 quests. Just to expensive for me. Also waiting an hour or more for energy and or crops to grow for harvesting.. unless your retired and have ALL day to play/wait plus deep pockets it’s just frustrating more than enjoyable. Sad to because the puzzles, characters and graphics are great and enjoyable to play with.
Another money grab

This is a very fun game. The issue is that get through any part of the game quick enough before an event ends requires you to spend. Some events require keys that you get 6 only when you buy them, but you need double that amount for each level! On top of that, there are other spending requirements in order to progress. Some require gems, you get 2 gems for watching a video every few hours but refill of power/energy requires 6 gems! And many events obstacles require huge amounts of energy, which quickly depletes anything you paid for or earned every single day! I have been playing several weeks now and it is like other games that loyal players eventually abandon because of spending even more than content.

I love the graphics and story of this game. I hate the ongoing tutorial pointing where to go instead of the adventure of finding the way. The thing that makes the game impossible to love is the energy. I bet a billion bucks the developers would make more money if they lowered the price of gems and energy. I understand they want to make the game last and keep one spending for as long as possible, but I payed 5$ for gems to buy energy that only lasted maybe 30 minutes. It would be great if you could get rest energy on top of what you have purchased. There is just not enough ways to make enough energy to play without frustration. The puzzles could be a bit harder as well.
The game itself is pretty fun, I enjoy the puzzles and the quests are entertaining. My only problem is that you literally can only play for 5 minutes and then you run out of energy. You only have 50 energy points available and most of the items you have to clear to complete the quests and puzzles are 25-65+ energy points so you really can only clear about 2-3 things until you run out. You pretty much can’t do anything unless you want to pay money to get more energy. So basically you can play for 5 minutes and then wait an hour for your energy to fill back up or just pay for more. It’s just really irritating because I really like the game but it seems like just another cash grab.

It takes way too much to earn money, if you’re trying to earn money to buy a new building it’s a ton of work and you don’t get anywhere, trying to use the boat or the order board to earn money is a joke, you literally don’t get ahead, some of the stuff you have to plant costs too much, yes you can use the different locations but energy runs out so fast even with several ways to earn it. The game isn’t even worth spending real money on because you don’t get anywhere even doing that.

This game is pretty great but the energy needs are crazy. I bought a 500 energy pack thinking I was doing something I’ve never spent $5 in a game so quickly. There are too many things that need to be cleared using energy. And if so many why are they 48 energy when the bar fills max 50😒. I would have liked to spend more time in the game but it just doesn’t make sense to me to come back every hr to clear 1 thing. Even using the cauldron which gives 45 energy it’s just not enough.
Program freezes

by OneHappyGrammie
I was really enjoying the game but then the program froze. I restarted the game several times, and finally was able to get the characters to move out of a shadowed area, and for a few more days things went well. But then the game froze again… with the characters in a shadowed area again. It took at least a dozen times restarting the game before I could move anything in the game. Then, after getting it going again, I played for a few more days, and now it is frozen again. I tried restarting the game, rebooting my iPad, and even deleted and restored the game, all to no avail. After purchasing so many gems so I could keep playing to the end of the story path I was on, I am left with no way to play because the two main characters are stuck in a shaded are and won’t move. So I can scroll around the island, but can’t do anything else. I really hope this bug gets fixed. I really was enjoying the game with all the puzzles!
Love the game, but they obviously do not screen their ads!
2024-06-29
by Carpediem2729
In order to gain gifts; extra energy, extra coins, extra supplies, you have the ability to watch ads to obtain it. Not only do you have to sit through the two minute ad but the ad never lets you X out of it!! Merge Mansion is HORRIBLE about this. At the end of the ad it gives you an option to get the game or an arrow on the upper right corner. If you click on the arrow, then it forces you to IslandHoppers Store anyway, when you go back to the game, the ad is still there it will not give you an X to close the ad. After doing this, sometimes 2 to 3 times, it may let you back into the game or it crashes the game completely and you never obtain your gifts. If you are lucky enough to get an X to close the ad, it won’t accept it. I understand this is how they make money but it’s very frustrating when this happens multiple times in one sitting playing the game.
I find this game quite enjoyable. The story lines are interesting, the events are great fun, and the graphics are really good. My only issue with the game is that all of a sudden I can’t find one specific resource to gather and then it’s usually a major one needed to progress with order fulfillment. At this time the only way for me to get the quartz for example is to use the resource shed but it’s still not enough available at any give time. I had this issue previously with bamboo but I got lucky and unlocked a new area where I was able to find it. Not having the quartz means I can’t place well in the farming tournament, and that’s disappointing. Can you please find a way to replenish resources necessary to make other items? I have 7 out of 9 orders right now that I can’t fulfill because of lack of quartz and I might have to start deleting them to work around this. Thanks for making a great game!
Was great at first.

Once you hit level 8 & 9 the amount of cutting down and digging up you need to do to collect items don’t even come close to how much blue energy lightening bolts you need to do it. You can cut down maybe 3 items before you have to wait an hour to do 2 more just to be able to collect items you need to make product as well as get to locations. My suggestion is also give energy with the rewards from selling the items. Also it says fish are available several times a day when so far it’s only twice, unless you stay awake 24 hours a day. I like the matching game, but I also wish that would become available maybe every 2-3 hours instead. I guess it’s frustrating to only be able to play a game for 10 minutes before you have to wait for more energy.

I have been playing this games for a while now and loved it. However, IslandHoppers froze at one point on my iPad and I did everything that was suggested by help. I deleted IslandHoppers and shut down my iPad, then restarted it and reinstalled IslandHoppers . When I logged on, the same locked screen appeared. I went on my desktop and opened it up in my web browser and logged on and got the same locked screen. I tried other browsers and got the same result, I can understand that these kind of problems can happen, so I contacted support but never received an answer. I tried contacting support several times and still no response. I have no choice but to delete IslandHoppers and never be able to use the account again. Due to the poor support, I felt that I could only rate this with two stars.
Oops! It appears that IslandHoppers was not locked up at all. It was waiting for me to find an object to move a rock. I apologize for the misinformation. Because of this, I am changing my rating to 4 stars. The game is excellent but support still never got back to me; therefore, I chose 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

I really do love playing this game! It is the first adventure game that works like I feel like it should. However, almost every review has said exactly how I feel about the energy problem! I also think an hour is plenty of time to grow flowers and make some of the items for deliveries. ( although that is still too long in my opinion) It is frustrating and you can only play for 10 minutes or so at a time. I understand you need to try to stay organized while keeping everything going but energy and the time it takes to grown and make things makes this not fun sometimes. So you have heard from many people about this issue why is that you do not address this? Either introduce more ways to get energy, shorten the time of production, make a way to raise the energy saved from 55 to much more!! I have paid for small game packs but to ask someone to pay anything more than a few dollars is just silly. I would never pay over a few bucks for air! If you lowered the prices on the packs I think you would make more money! And raise the amount of energy you get from buying a game pack!! You can run through 400 energy in less than 8 minutes!! We all love this game just make it a little easier to play for more that 5 minutes at a time.
Super cute game but….

So far I really enjoy the game EXCEPT everything requires you to use so much energy and unless you buy it, energy is hard to come by. When you find it in the game, it’s only 2 or 3 but it may take you 50 or more to get to what’s free. The side story to restore the well has dragged on and on and gets confusing as well as requiring you to use much more energy than you can get from the game and on a time limit. It’s really a shame they are trying to force you to purchase energy to meet what’s required for the tasks. The storyline is awesome and the game is fun besides the energy requirements that stress you out. I probably won’t keep it much longer simply because of that. If they would fix the energy problem then I would happily keep it and continue to play. I just refuse to keep a game where you have no choice but to make purchases or loose.
It’s fun and keeps me busy. Lots to do. Great colors! I love almost everything about the game. What I don’t care for is that you can’t really g t through the game and continue to play without purchasing packs! You always run out of energy and can’t really continue with the different areas without energy! I ended up running out of so much I wasn’t a let to continue because of the lack of energy to gather all that is needed to play the game. Because of the amount of energy to us on any one item and running out with no way to get enough to continue any length of game play time I may consider to stop playing. It you have lots of money to blow on one game the. I would recommend this one! For me, I can’t see spending that much on one game! Better to just get a game console and a game and a one time payment. This game has multiple packs at different amounts. You will need all of them!!! You will spend hundreds of dollars on them. I remember one pack cost $79. Some others cost $4.99. So you can see there are various packs and prices. One good thing is the developer or troubleshooting workers do get back to you quickly!
Solid game, not a lot of energy

This is a really great game when it comes to the amount of adventure. If you like mission based games, then this one is for you. The only complaint I have is that there is not enough energy to play for extended periods once you progress far enough. When you got the clear obstacles, you’re only able to clear a handful of items before your energy is fully drained. If you don’t want to wait for it to refill, your only choice is to buy energy packs. I fully get the concept of wanting to incentivize people, but it would be nice to see either more energy or faster refill times. It does make it hard to keep playing when when it takes days to complete one small task. Other than that, this game could be easily addictive!
Loved it until….

I have had similar feelings of enjoyment of this game as previously posted until today when I hit a stumbling block… I am doing the side game And finally Made it into the hidden bunker to search for the passcode key to stop the oil rig and am Trying to sneak past Ted but it won’t do anything to let me continue and keeps popping with the same hint. Have I hit a limit where I must now purchase something to play?(Which I won’t do!) or does the game got a coding issue??? It just keeps Making me go back and forth behind 3 boxes and won’t let me exit the Bunker to Work on something else. If I hit a limit of free play then the creators should Be honest and advise us. If not then the creators need updates that give hints when a player is stuck in a loop.

This game is fun and addictive! The graphics are awesome and it has plenty of adventure with a great story line. The game is updated frequently which is just fantastic so it runs smooth. They have never hounded me for money, which is why I like this game so much. I can’t afford to put money into games on a fixed income. It seemed to have run slow for me one week, I was thinking they wanted me to put money into it, all games do it, but they let it be after about 3 days! My other games get really mean and try to bully you out of money, but that has not happened with this game! In fact at level 47 they let me start watching ads for energy and coins. This game can bring you into a great adventure and help you escape your reality, I would recommend this game for all ages!

I’m only on level 8 right not but so the game is fun to play. The only problem I have is the energy level. Right now the maximum is 50 but that only allows me to do one or two things (as in can only clear off one thing completely or partially then I’ll have to wait for the bar to fill back up). If they would just increase the maximum energy a bit with each level up, that would be very helpful. There are a few ways to get more energy without waiting. For example- use the fruits and nuts on the farm, spending the jewels, or using real money. I don’t want to use real money on the game. The game rarely rewards me jewels, so I’m trying to save them. I only get fruits by completing a task or clearing off something, so those are limited.
Love the game, but as you progress getting energy is harder to come by and you never get enough to progress very far in the game cause it takes a lot of energy for just one item while clearing. So you get maybe 10 min. Of game play then your out of energy. Takes hours to get more for only a short time to play. It takes along time to get anywhere in this game if you don’t spend the money for more energy. Very frustrating and I have actually spent what I consider a great deal of money ( over $100 ) on this game already. More then I would have thought of ever paying. So yes a fun game but disappointing of how costly this game can become.
Love this Game!

This game is great. It does start off super easy and then gets harder to get energy, but the game offers lots of ways to get energy if you open all of the boxes and things during the quests. There is food and nuts that offer energy. I kinda wish the memory game could be played more often because it’s fun and it offers energy. The best part of this game is it doesn’t undulate you with ads. You can relax and play. Obviously, without ads, they would need support through actual payment, but the game can still be played without. I’d rather pay anyways than to have a game constantly bombarding me with ads.
Wonderful game …but for thing

I have been playing this game for awhile now and really enjoy it. My only issue is with getting coins. It’s a no win circle…..to grow crops you use a lot of coins….and you need crops to feed animals. You also need coins to buy animals to make products. For weeks now I have not been able to build up more that 5000 to 8000 coins and all the new buildings I need to complete tasks cost 30,000 plus. It’s a bit disheartening that’s there not a better way to build up coins apart from buying ALOT of them and it really would be a lot considering how many buildings there are over 30,000. Sure you can collect coins and energy as you play….but most of the time that is like 3-5 coins each time and that doesn’t add up to much …..so it doesn't really help much. It is sad when the only way you can advance in a game is to spend $5-$20 A DAY buying energy and coins. So sadly I will leave the game as it just gets boring when you can’t really achieve anything.

I am very surprised I came across such an awesome game, especially since it’s not in the top games to play on IslandHoppers Store. You do not have to spend your own money to thrive, have fun, and just enjoy the game for hours. This game was put together with so much thought, I can tell that the creators really took their time to make sure this was an AMAZING GAME. I Love That; It is easy to get the hang of things also while being challenging, and the missions and side missions make sense for the story line, the many things you can do to get more energy and coins is just unbelievable because most games only have one way and once the energy is gone you have to wait HOURS…. I have never left a review and didn’t have anything suggestions for how the game can improve. I AM TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY BY THE CREATORS AND I APPRECIATE THE THOUGHT THAT WENT INTO MAKING SUCH A FUN, CHALLENGING, ADDICTIVE GAME ☺️
First golden ruby chest in ancient ruins

I dug it up, then clicked it. Got the dialogue about it, then got the 24 hour timer until I’m assuming it disappears. I paid the $1 to open it, but the chest never disappeared. I got the energy and gems, but I’m assuming it’s supposed to go away just like everything else you interact with for resources. This makes more sense than having a chest I can keep clicking on and getting the same dialogue. It’s really annoying seeing this shiny chest chilling in the area I’m currently working on completing.
After the update the issue is still present. I know know that it isn’t supposed to disappear completely but it is supposed to appear open. It’s still annoying and can be clicked for the same dialogue to pop up.
Emily was stuck, but customer service is top notch!

I previously wrote a review where I said that Emily was stuck. She was really stuck I could not go anywhere or do anything. After this I lost access to my farm. However…. I contacted customer service and after a few emails they had my farm and status completely restored! They contacted me by email at least once per day until they knew I was completely satisfied and able to continue playing the game. I started my work life in customer service, and was trained by some of the absolute best of the best. So please believe me when I say that I am fully impressed by their level of customer service! That is why I gave them 5 stars!
Highly recommended!!! My go to game!!!

This should really be in the Top Ten games. I usually steer very hard away from “energy required” games like this but I Love This Game!! Energy is easy to come by so you are not having to sink a bunch of money into trying to get things done. Graphics are amazing and smooth playing. I would highly recommend getting this game. It has to be one of my all time favorites!!!! A big thank you to the developers for making such an awesome game!!

The only thing I wish is they gave you more options to get blue lightning to be able to open more things they cost too much or they don’t give you enough to keep going unless you pay Other than that the game is wonderful and I love it. It keeps me interested and I can’t stop playing which I never play games
Stuck on parrot gate

I was enjoying the game until I got stuck on the parrot gate in the shipyard. As soon as I open the game it immediately goes back to the parrot gate makes it a small window and there is no solving the puzzle and I cannot get out of the puzzle. I can’t even contact support because I can’t get out of the parrot puzzle. Major issue and now I’ve had to delete the game.
