Monster Galaxy: The Zodiac Islands Reviews

I want to say MonsterGalaxy is perfect, but honestly, I can't.

the perks:
nice art, nice music, a good story, funny characters and a pretty good system of gameplay.

downsides:
it looked/s great on iPhone-4 oriented screens, particularly iPads, but isn't formatted for 5 screens (I can't say if it looks good or even works with 6, but MonsterGalaxy hasn't been updated in years so I wouldn't count on it). also, I've downloaded MonsterGalaxy about 3 times over different phones. each time, nothing was saved. what I'm saying here is don't spend any money on MonsterGalaxy unless you like what you buy to disappear. and by disappear, I mean I just opened MonsterGalaxy and it showed me the "select character" screen like it does when you first begin, after spending a lot of time getting through the story (again) and earning free moga cash to unlock special mogas. "app support" is no help at all; give it a go, see if you can even find this game on the website. I'm glad I didn't spend any real money, or too much of it-although time is money- on this game, or I'd feel even worse.

in general though, it is a fun game. unfortunately, I have to suggest that you don't get too involved, which is a bummer, because that's what is supposed to make games fun.

The game contains a lot of good ideas and the art work is nice. The whole idea of the game isn't bad as well as the way the game is played.

However this game is a cash cow. You will be lured into believing that the game is great while playing the first island. However, you will start seeing the game direction once you hit the 2nd island. The energy required to play goes up from 5 to 15! Then there are some that required 25! Later on in the 3rd island, it will require minimum of 15 and Max at 30!

How far would you be able to go into the game if the energy requirement stays that high!

Oh and the game ranking is screwed because there are tons of cheaters on the top ranks. That should tell you something.

Here is some info about how highest percentage of success rate to catch a monster for you all. Common 60%. Uncommon 40%. Rare 30%. Superrare 25%. Epic 10%. Legendary 5%.

Spoiler: The last battle required 55 energy for the battle and you will fight 3 legendary monsters. Once you beat the game, go back there and you can try to catch Horus.

If you ever want to try to catch a legendary monster, you should use an Epic if you don't have a legendary yet. Also pack yourself with at least 15 heals and 35 seeds. You would have a chance to catch one legendary.

This game is great, u get to catch monsters like Pokemon but u have to buy stuff. The girl was right, I tried catching a rare monster but even on 1 health, I still couldn't catch it. That's why this game is good and bad. There may be some upside downs and stuff but u can recharge your charter when on wi-fi and recharge your monsters. This is good but we might not be able to afford it but what stops u from buying it. It's your choice whether or not u would spend money from your credit card or not its your choice, unless your parents decide for u. That u could download it or not its not ours its your pick. So this is your world so download it or not.

I love that the game is so fun and that you can get epic monsters by getting all the stars on an island i also love that there is a fun story to it. I hate that you run ouy of energy so fast. You have a low chance of getting a legendary monster when its at one hp when it shoud be at least 50 % when it is that low. I think you should have the mogas healing while sleeping so you can wake them up and have some health. I also think that you should lower the price of moga cash 4.99 for 15!!!!! And you should get like 10 moga cash for gettimg all the stars on an island or at least some way of getting moga cash without buying it people dont have the money.

I LOVE THIS GAME! It's totes mah goats amazing! (Her comes the hate part) love the game it's addicting but I agree with Cowens I hate how there low on health and then oh no you can't catch them i also agree with the farm and wheel of fortune idea. Once I lose all my energy I have to stop playing because I don't have any more energy same with the Mogas if they need to drink the special coffee or what ever to regen and regain energy I'm not giving that up they should be able to regen naturally in battle and out! I know you game people don't usually listen to us but please take a chance for our ideas! Thanx- Celestial Porker

The concept and graphics are nice. You get a chance to explore first couple islands relatively quickly without spending money. But you quickly get to a point where battles use up 25 and 30 percent of your health. Takes about 5 minutes to win three or four battles then it's a 2 hour wait for health. The game works if If you do not mind playing for five minutes, waiting for two hours to recover, play five minutes, then wait another 2 hours to log back in recovered. Or of course you can spend real money on the games 'coffee' to restore your health. The game appears designed in my opinion and as others have stated to have you frequently reaching for your wallet so you can continue to play.

I give every game a try that I download this game seemed like it got decent to good reviews but as I started playing alls this game does is want UR money rips U off a lot from spending energy to go to the next stages U start off with 100 while doing the turtorial takes 5-10 of them every turtorial then after that takes 15 it's crazy U run out U have to spend real money or wait 2 minutes to not even getting enough to do another stage. The first monsters U get don't bother using im sorry to sound so badly about this game but I haven't found many games where I felt the makers only want UR money and that's it. But this is how I feel other people probably feel different. Getting this game youd have to spend real money in literally the first hour of playing unless u wait and wait for your energy to stock up or use real money for coffee to heal U

I used to play a game called geomon, until they shut down. I was devastated and have been searching for a new game like this to play since it shut down, so a few months. Then I found this game and was hooked automatically. The prices are pretty fair, the characters are fun, the gameplay is fair and fun (most games like this are extreme with restricting gameplay with energy), and I can't wait to see what types of updates come and I can't wait to advance further in the game. I do however wish for better ways to get coffee, without paying for it.

Though this game is awesome both on the PC version and MonsterGalaxy version, MonsterGalaxy has some flaws. For one, the main part of the game (not battles) are extremely glitchy, this included the map, options, and story lines. Also, the PC version is different then MonsterGalaxy version and MonsterGalaxy doesn't give as much as the PC. If MonsterGalaxy could maybe make a farming part of the game where I could get farm seeds and strawberries (PC), that would be amazing. Also, maybe a once a week prize like a wheel of fortune type of this where u could get seeds, or even high ranked items. Otherwise, MonsterGalaxy is very fun and very addicting.

This game is extraordinary and I enjoy it more tan any other game I have ever played before, however, it is not currently compatible with my iPhone 11's iOS so I have to play it on my old iPad mini.
If you are reading this creators, PLEASE UPDATE THE GAME IOS CAPABILITIES!!! I am begging! It would mean so much to me to have my childhood game on my phone and not my iPad mini. This goes for both Monster Galaxy: the zodiac islands and Monster Galaxy: exile.
Please take my request into deep consideration, it would mean the world to me and other who also love this game as much as I do.

This is one of my favorite games. I play it everyday. There are so many cute mogas to capture. The one bad thing to this game is that your tamer's energy runs out really quickly as you progress during the game. The first world only takes about 5 energy but when you get to the second world the energy goes up to about 15-25 energy, so you can't play the game very long without running out of energy. I don't really mind this very much because the game itself is still very fun. I would definitely encourage people to get this game. 😃😊🐶🌺

Ever since Gaia introduced Monster Galaxy I've been very weary of playing it as I'm a huge zOMG! fan. While I've never played the computer version, MonsterGalaxy version is very fun! It gives me something to play on my iPad when I want to play a Gaia game. It's a lot of fun and similar to Pokemon so I recommend it a lot. While on the computer I can't see myself choosing this over zOMG! I will definitely continue to play this on my iPad.

Honestly, I love this game but there are a few things I don't like.

First of all, I have notifications on and I am repeatedly told there is something in the crystal rift. When I go check, it says "there is nothing in the crystal rift for now. Cut on notifications to see when to get awesome mogas!" Second, it is too hard to get Moga cash. You should be able to get some without using money like when you catch all mogas , complete all quests , and get 3 stars on every stage on an island. If you get all of those done on an island, you should be able to get Moga cash.

Otherwise, this is a great game

First of all MonsterGalaxy pretty much forces you too pay for items for example starseeds I ran out of starseeds and I wasn't sure what too do so I went to the market $2 just for eight starseeds!!😡 I really wish I could play this game but it's so hard when I've run out of options I even went back to old missions but realized I did them all. I will try to give MonsterGalaxy time to see if I can get starseeds in daily prizes but even if I do they shouldn't make MonsterGalaxy so pricy it should be like a any free app should be.

I'm a frequent Gaia user and love that this game is available. My question is, can everything cost 1-2 energy here like Monster Galaxy Exile? It's frustrating to only be able to go to about 4 places before I have to wait for energy again. If not can there also be a way to get more than 100 max energy? Like the tamer could level somehow?

I would prefer to pay to play this because honestly the waiting times make me not want to play anymore. I want to buy things but I feel like it's not worth it since it takes forever to do anything. this makes me sad because I really do want to beat the game but I just get bored of all the waiting. can there be an option to buy some sort of full version without waiting? please? same with the sequel, which I haven't played yet

I used to play this game all the time back when I had my old phone. Times change, though, and things break and technology gets better, and when I got a new phone it came with ios 11 already on it... which meant I couldn't go back to the game I'd spent so much time on.

I've been playing this game for over 2 years now and I love it! But for some reason, my game crashes every time I open MonsterGalaxy and press a button. This has been going on for many months now, and I would appreciate it if this would be fixed by the developers. Other than that, I loved the game, and I would recommend it to any one who wants an all around fun, and addictive game!

Actually I love this game I think I rote already like 3 or more but I just wanted to say that this game isn't useless because they want UR money and stuff those people who said those things are impatient losers (No offense but I already did) if you can't play a simple game like this you won't enjoy any game except those games that are exciting so yeah
