I loved this game. I played it a lot, it was really fun! But, one little teeny problem, YOU ADDED A ZOMBIE? SERIOUSLY? let me tell you the story of how I never will play this game again in an eternity. So i always spend the nights in that boat dock thing. And I go out in the morning. So when I got out I checked outside for danger. BUT, THERE WAS A ZOMBIE. I don’t know why I deleted it as soon as I saw it, but I watched, and IT ATTACKED ME! But luckily I left the game and deleted it and the only way to give me a 1% chance of EVER playing this again you have to remove the zombies. Also I’ve heard of mutants and bandits, I’ve never seen them but remove those too. I’m pretty sure the one I saw was a zombie, also I was on the home island where you spawn on when you first play the game, I’ve also heard of a zombie barracks on hornet island. So if you hate zombie scares never ever EVER download this game,

You have to explore to make the first items in game. Once you’ve gathered enough materials, which takes time, you can make cloth clothing and simple weapons for yourself. But no matter how high-level you get, or how much quality the armor is, when you get killed by any animal, everything that you’re carrying (including that hard earned armor and fighting weapon) gets dropped on the ground in a backpack as you are flung out of the area on a respawn. This is especially troublesome for new players who haven’t had time to craft spare equipment. When you return to the backpack the same animal kills you again because now you are completely defenseless. Even if you make new weapons, they wouldn’t be any better than the ones you already lost, so you get killed again and the new weapon you spent an hour getting the mats for is now lost too! It’s an endless loop. Worse yet, if you can’t get to the backpack in time it eventually disappears off the map! Yep, that’s right! That equipment you spent days even weeks to gather mats for.....is gone forever. You are basically right back to the start of the game with nothing except a useless pair of boxer shorts. It’s terrible. Don’t play this, it will only disappoint you.

This game has such potential to be good, but all the little glitches and unrealism kind of ruin it for me. If I hadn't already invested about $15 in it, I would just say to heck with it. First off, on my son's tablet, (which is new by the way), he was on the road with his truck, got out of his truck, and the next thing he knew, he was glitched back to his home, and even though he hadn't seemed to travel in his truck very far, it took FOREVER to get back to his truck. It was just totally not even in the realm of possible that it would have taken that long to get back to the vehicle. Ok, as if that wasn't enough, playing on my iPad, I had a wolf literally attack my truck, and after I had hit it and ran over it, it started pushing my truck from underneath to where I couldn't even control it. Um, not possible. And also, foxes would NEVER attack a human, unless maybe if it was attacked first, but very probably it would run away as fast as it could. But I definitely have a problem with the foxes aggressively attacking humans...wild boars, maybe...but foxes, NO. These things may seem trivial, but when they happen on a regular basis, that will be when I permanently delete the game off of all three of our devices.

I’m going to start out with the things you need to improve then the things you need to add
It’s very hard to progress through this game it doesn’t tell you what the materials look like or what there’s called it just says need 5 more or need 3 more it’s also very hard to turn around quickly I wish the speed of that would improve. What I don’t get is why they just tell you the things you do first and then they leave that at that I wish you could customize you own character with clothes , a skin tone, a face, and a gender. It’s very hard to do the things when you don’t know the point of the game is it doesn’t really feel like your fighting for your life on an island it just fells like your wondering outside. I think you should remove the cars because it doesn’t make sense to ride a car on a deserted island sorry to give u 1 star but this is how I feel about the game and you have to acept that

I have tried to contact the developers through messenger to no avail so will have to resort to a negative review to try to get my inquiry answered! I hate that it has come to this! And will update once I get a proper response.
About a week ago now my truck on Farmers island disappeared completely off the map! It is not in the water it is simply gone! I had lots of stuff stored in the trucks storage that I would like to retrieve. I would like for someone to fix the glitch that has caused the truck on the first island. There is also a few other glitches that I have noticed that could be easily fixed if someone would just take a moment to do so. But for gods sake please fix the truck glitch! And start communicating with your players! We would appreciate timely responses that don’t require one to write negative reviews! Check ya messages please!

This has got to be the most frustrating game ever! I like the survival aspect, but every time you get killed, you have to start all over. I also HATE that there are zombies in it! I specifically downloaded OceanIsHome because there was no mention of zombies. It looked like a straight up survival game. That set it apart from the others for me because there are tons of darn zombie games, way too many. I hate stupid zombie games!!! I also wish there were a way to get better instruction during the game on what to do. I found some glass shards I think and either a partial painting or something. What do you do with them? How can you refill fuel containers? I found a gas station, but my truck didn’t have enough gas to make it there and that’s also where I got killed by zombies twice. Really starting to hate this game. Hate it with a passion!

I don’t like the animals attacking you and I really hate that you lose all your stuff when you die. I had purchased some packs to make it a bit easier and then I ended up being killed by two wild boars. All my stuff was left at the death site while I restarted in the other side of the island. By the time I found my way back to the spot where I died, which was really difficult as the map is so tiny and useless, I decided to purchase more packs including a military pack and weapons. I equipped myself with the military clothing and an ax as I had lost my knife in my death. This time I approached the boar facing him and was able to hit him 3 times. He hit me 3 times, with military gear on and killed me again. How does this concept work? The first time I was attacked by two at once, was naked and was lit more times than when I got hit by only one with military gear on? And again, I lost my stuff. So I deleted OceanIsHome and am angry that I wasted money but the game is just not worth it.

This game is good and all but some stuff is kinda broken like the bed, you can’t even use it to turn the night into morning and also the truck and the boat use the gas way to fast plus you have to fix the truck to use it. Especially when you take your time to do stuff like create nice weapons they are not any different from the cloth clothes and it bugs me because you die from the animals and you can’t get it back because the animal will keep killing you and it’s just a circle of that happening and it’s pretty annoying and the graphics are good but sometimes it kicks me out and I think it also should be a bit easier to get the animals like add a sprint button so we could sneak up on the animal at least

When I play it is a little annoying because I can never get the amount of metal I need to get a sleghamer that I need to build my house bigger and better so I think you should make mines and make it were metal is easier to find. I also think you should put a creative mode for people that do not want to have to go throu the hole game and so they can just come home after a long day and have fun. And so they do not have to worry about getting killed. This is my commit I hope you will do it. From one of your greatest people that play the game Xayden.

The game is alright, I like it... except, trying to watch ads is next to impossible. I keep trying to get money for car parts, but either nothing happens at all or I exit and i have to close the game because 'viewing is not available at this moment' and you can't exit it when you're playing. I don't understand why you can find gas easily (the houses, in the back.) yet you find nothing else. Another thing...
That settler. Let's just call him Bill.
You want to talk about escalation of force. Bill will pull out the TK-47 out of no where and shoot at you repeatedly until you die. Same with the boars. I shot a boar with the entire Colt magazine, and I still lost...? Please fix these issues, and i will rate five stars. (P.S. could you make animals more common?)

It’s an awesome game and I would definitely recommend it but I just have some suggestions:
1. Make it easier to knock down walls on buildings, it gets really tedious when you make a mistake while building
2. Make more advanced building types and weapons
3. Make loot drops more common
4. Add account customization and a friend system
5. Add multiplayer or servers just like in rust
6. Give the climate and environment more variety
7. Better graphics
8. Add cool/unsettling background music
9. Add loot in the random buildings that are found throughout the island
10. Get rid of the roads and other modern objects, it takes away from the cool stranded feeling
11. Add more types of animals
12. Make the bow and arrow as well as the colt stronger
I hope that all of my suggestions are considered. Honestly though, the best thing that could happen to this game is multiplayer being added. Also fix the graphics, the people in this game look really creepy. I love this game and hope that the current version available is only the beginning.

I love this game but I wish there was more ways to travel, and get gas on the big island because it’s huge and so hard to just walk around in. I also wish it was easier to get food. It is also really hard to get enough wood to make a house. When the wolf starts to come around it’s almost impossible to get rid of it and I wish it was easier. But other than that I love survival games and this is great if you like a challenging survival game with ocean access but If you want it to be easier to get food and if you like having civilization then you should get ocean is home 2.

Ok so when I last played this game I was angry at how there was materials that you couldn’t make and you had to find them. The game got better at even that and I’m already enjoying the excitement for exploring the new military base in the mountains. I haven’t gotten to making a gun bench yet so I hope that materials impossible to find or make don’t appear in the recipe. I’m also happy you brought back auto aim. Thought that was gone forever. I’m still a little meh about the fact the zombies move so fast and can see you with eyes on the back of their head. Still, two thumbs up for the new update!

This game is great- the concept is fun. I was especially happy when I got my dog, but when I hunted a Fox with my dog, the Fox didn’t care that the dog was attacking it while I was backing away... it’s kind of odd. Also, it’s really cool how now you take fall damage so you have to be more careful. Before it was where you could jump from any height and be absolutely fine.
One last issue, it is SO hard to craft stuff!
I played this game nonstop for a week and I only got two walls and two foundations on it. You also have to be careful that your hatchet, axe, or anything along those lines doesn’t just break on you. It’s almost like a more graphical version of Minecraft, you know?

When i’m shooting boars most of arrows goes off even though i aimed right. I just thought it was something to do with poorly made hitbox, but i realized that boars bounce off the arrows and tilts in dimension a little bit. Result? Sky walking boar which reflects any attacks, and my wasted 20 or so arrows.
And it is too difficult to use arrows considering this is a mobile game. Hitbox are too small and unforgiving, moving and changing camera direction makes a lot of mistakes, bugs make you waste tons of ammo, and you can’t hit moving target because you cannot fire and aim at the same time since you have to do both task with right hand.

Right now I have experienced a problem and I don't want to delete/start a new world because I have gotten very far so here's the problem when I was driving the truck in the game (this happened like 4 minutes ago ) my truck tipped and had 0 gasoline and was on its side I got out of the truck and slipped under the world and ended up in water under the wold and drowned the thing is I save like 4 seconds before I got out of the truck but when I reload the game the truck is still tipped on one side and I can't get out without falling under the map/world and drowning because of the water under the map/world and I cannot jump to get above the waters surface if it is that low and the water is infinite so I automatically drown:(

I love this game great graphics. It’s great. But I have one little thing. It would be great if we could have a starter home in this game. The reason I downloaded this game was that I wanted to play a survival game. So if you guys could give maybe like a starter house that would be great. I will be very thankful. Thank you. Love the game. Also it’s frustrating when I didn’t have a hatchet or a stone breaker thing at the beginning of the game or when I didn’t have any materials because I starved to death and died. Maybe you could add in an update that will give us all so more stuff when we start out our game that would be very wonderful also you guys should add some more houses around the islands and give us a bigger inventory. And maybe some wheels and car and boat stuff. And maybe even some better graphics on the map.

This game is very fun and kind of addicting. Getting materials is pretty tedious, that doesn’t bother me personally but I know it’s annoying to some people. I think the graphics are the games weak spot, I believe the textures and models are mostly ones that you can get for free off the Internet, but I don’t know for sure. maybe if they made more simple but still aesthetically pleasing textures it wouldn’t be low quality looking? of course I do not think this game is low quality, but at first glance it looks like one of those low effort Minecraft ripoffs, which it isn’t.
It really looks like whoever made this was genuinely trying to make a fun game. And they definitely succeeded, but there are a lot of other games that look similar that are absolute garbage. I can clearly tell that this game had a lot of thought and Effort put into it, and I truly appreciate that... this game is nothing like the unplayable Minecraft ripoffs. It’s really a quality game that is very good, especially for a mobile game :)

This game is great, I love survival games that have building and crafting as a main focus of the game, I loved playing it, but there is only one problem, upon searching info about the second main island, I learned that there are zombies and mutants(weird werewolf things), and they are the strongest enemies around(except the human enemy’s) but, on the island you start out on, starter island, there is an airport, filled with zombies. This should not be the case for the island everyone new spawns at, yet second strongest enemies spawn there. Near the airport is the only source of metal ore on the island, no where else to get it. Seeing that most people will need to prepare massively when they head to the main island(not starter), they need metal. Having a strong enemy like that almost guarding the metal is messed up, plus by coming near the zombie area, they start to wander toward your base randomly, it’s annoying and it scared me once. Other than not having a good start off ingame, the game is fine, if you are cautious things can be peaceful. It’s great otherwise the zombies on starter island. I encourage any who read this to download the game it’s a nice game.😁👍

Overall an amazing game I downloaded it a long time ago and I just re downloaded it and I love to new updates though I have some suggestions and problems.
I wish the deer weren’t so fast I couldn’t catch and kill any of them and I think you should get rid of the boars I don’t like them. One problem is that I can’t sleep on the bed in one of the cabins on one of the islands and I saved my progress and the next time I get on I went into the lockers on one of the island cabins and all my stuff was gone like completely missing oh and I would like to be able to go back to what you saw at the very beginning before you even started the game with a button because I don’t remember some of the things like how do I use the campfire and the furnace and I’m hoping that screen tells you or can you at least go back to how the furnace and the campfire were it was way easier and I don’t understand how to work those two things please help
