Don’t get me wrong, everything else about Dreamily is great, it’s just that for longer stories (anything over 50,000 characters), it can seriously impact the performance of it (a 1-2 second delay to everything). Maybe there’s a way to possibly load only a few thousand character at a time to reduce slowdown? It’s the only thing that majorly impacts my experience with Dreamily .

Despite my not so stellar 3 stars, I actually love this idea. As a writer I get my words mixed up and get constant writers block. This helps out quite a lot. Keep doing what you’re doing it still needs a little work, but I can see what they had in mind when creating Dreamily . Overall, it’s still solid.

Create your own adventure while going into all creative thoughts? Yep! A amazing app for storytelling while giving you zero advertisements, and letting you use it for free? Uh huh! It’s a great app for storytelling, though some more unique is features and modes would be great, besides that would suggest!

I really like Dreamily. AI dungeon was getting so restrictive I had to find an alternative. There’s a couple things I’d like to see in future updates. The main thing (now) is that it takes 10-15 seconds to produce the three possible entries at the bottom. That’s too long. Sometimes I get bored and switch apps only to come back and find out the AI timed out and didn’t write anything. I’d rather only have one choice if it means it only takes a second or two to come up. Other than that, and the fact that I’ve lost a few stories I was pretty far into because the auto save feature wasn’t functioning and I didn’t notice, Dreamily is pretty great.

1 week later edit: This dev is great with customer service. I made a request for them to fix a problem (other users did too probably) and they fixed it in the next update. Thank you. I’m a little afraid to update now as I’m worried things may be removed or changed again.

I can write whatever I want, and it’s also faster. It gives more options too. The only thing is it’s not very knowledgeable of the real world pop culture and such. If I try to write Harry Potter, for example, it doesn’t fill in characters from the Harry Potter universe. Overall great app though.

You may have already heard the feed back of others, mostly positive and whatnot (I do agree with their opinions), but there’s an issue with foreign languages that use Chinese Script. As a Japanese speaker, I can’t make a single story in it without it triggering a language sensor, I would greatly appreciate it if there was a way to use Han characters (Kanji, Hanja, Chu Nom, ect.) without it triggering a sensor…

I really enjoy it all, I just wish the wait time was lower and that Dreamily would actually take into account the descriptions and settings we have in the Dreamipedia, I have someone set to Dead but they keep showing up as if nothing happened.

I never ever review apps, but I just had to leave a review for this app. I had been using AI Dungeon for a few months prior, but it became very restrictive and a “pay your way” kind of app so I decided to try and find a different A.I writing app. Then I found this app. this app isn’t even on the same level as AI Dungeon. It’s truly such an amazing app, the A.I is very smart and understands characters and celebrities without you having to give much detail. There isn’t any ads or monthly subscriptions, which really shocked and impressed me. I hope whoever the developer of Dreamily is keeps it up!! I truly love Dreamily and find myself going back to it over and over.

i've been using the browser version simply because the website i used to find y'all failed to tell me that this was also an app.

so long as y'all don't submit to the karen's and censor us i think this will be the start of a great app.

Its a good app don’t get me wrong, but it’s suddenly been laggy for me. I thought it’s my device, but I tried it on my new iPad, and it was still slightly lagging. I don’t really mind the lag, but it could be annoying at times. Other than that, 10/10 app.

It’s really smart and quick! It remembers a lot of information and doesn’t trail off from the plot! I little complaint is just that i’m having trouble actually deleting stories. I click delete and nothing happens…Other than that, it’s perfect!

So I have always loved to write stories, I’ve done it for years. Lately though, I have been getting really bad cases of writers block. I started using Dreamily and it has inspired me with so many ways to help me get past my writers block. It also has given me some good ideas for other stories to write. It is such a good app, it has a wonderful AI that is so good. It has come up with lines that have inspired me and I just can’t explain how good Dreamily is. I love it!!!

What an inspiration to start without that awful blank page. Instead to dream merrily with a helping creative fairy that prompts you to poetry or imagery.
Editing is a joy and such ease in flowing words.

This is possibly one of the best and smartest AI writing apps I’ve ever used. When I put in characters from a series, I only put in two, but it knew the other characters that were not mentioned at all?! So cool

As someone who has pursued writing for a long time, this AI is wonderful at expanding my creativity and potential. Good in all aspects that may appeal to people who come from AI Dungeon or any other AI type story app. Highly recommend. I hope it continues on this path, because it is phenomenal. This is such an amazing app! I was expecting a lot for it when I heard about it from a friend and it is so far exceeding my expectations. I tend to get stuck a lot when writing fics so this is a huge help!

I’m glad it appears that the dev seems to take reviews and suggestions into account because a lot of people don’t. My only suggestion is really adding more themes to go with the ones already here; maybe Horror and Mystery.

I am loving Dreamily so far. Keep up the great work!

I’ve only had Dreamily for a few hours, but I really like it. As someone who enjoys writing, I enjoy being able to take my characters and put them into something that takes them on adventures I couldn’t even think of! One thing I would ask for though, is that in the relationship maker part of the character additions, for there to be a ‘crush’ relationship. It’s a very small detail, that I think could go a long way for story building, but this is still a great app.

Girls, Theys and Gays! Get over here!

I originally came here because I wanted more things like ai Dungeon, but Dreamily tops it! After I played around with the mechanics, I decided to see if this ai knew anything about my favorite games, and it freaking WORKS. I don't have to explain who this character was! And they even embodied the fandom version of her (Undying from Undertale). I love Dreamily! You could probably make a lot more fanfiction with this if you are unmotivated like me or can't think of anything. I encourage anyone who reads, writes fanfics, or is part of any fandoms to try this! I'ma go and see if yours works in here hehe🥰🥰🥰🥰

I came seeking an alternative for AI dungeon and I am beyond impressed. The AI is very advanced with eloquent word choice. Dreamily is also completely free with no micro transactions or limits on how much you can use it.
