BoldVoice: Accent Training Reviews

I’ve done a couple hours of training and already noticing areas I need to improve in. This supplements my duolingo studies nicely. Can improve my English while still learning other languages. I wish they would branch out to other accents though- would prefer my English to sound like British English but it’s a new app and I hope they continue to expand.

I think everyone who has learned English in a foreign country should use this. We all have good grammar and vocabulary but when it comes to speaking... it's tough because we haven't had enough practice. I do recommend this app to all English learners

Content is great. BoldVoice itself can use some improvements. Especially the video playback often freezes which can be solved by going 10s back and then 10 forth. Also recording usually has some lag so the first things you say usually are not recorded

The advice and videos from the coach are so helpful. They don't teach you any of this in English classes! Thank you thank you for making this. Every non-native speaker would greatly benefit   ‌  ‍ 

BoldVoice has been great to help with pronunciation of words I’ve been struggling with. There’s a voice coach and they give scores for how close you are on pronunciation.

If you’re really struggling you can even book a session with a speech coach.

You can record your voice and it tells you where you can improve in your pronunciation. The feedback is really accurate and impressive.

I used to think I said the word perfectly, and then BoldVoice plays it back and it's eye opening to hear your own accent! BoldVoice has really helped me understand and start to fix my accent.

I downloaded it a few weeks ago and I already feel much more confident! I had a thick German accent and I was self conscious about it, but now I can bring my entire self to work.

I can say this is the best app I practiced with as a non-native speaker for speech and accent. I will be thankful if I can register it fully from Asia, we don't have access to any credit cards in our country.

It's fast, well-designed, and accurate. I can practice for 20 minutes and already feel an improvement. There's no better pronunciation app!

Great app. One suggestion: I wish you add the ability to pick a word and get feedback, not just the practice words from the coaches.

I'm an immigrant in the US for almost 5 years and still feel a little self-conscious about my accent. BoldVoice has been perfect for me to feel more comfortable speaking up.

It gives you really handy words and sentences to practice. You also get videos from accent experts about how to pronounce difficult sounds. Love everything!

As far as accent reduction apps go, this app definitely does the job. They're also now doing videos about public speaking focused for nonnative speakers, which I've really enjoyed

It's worth it to spend time on BoldVoice to improve my pronunciation. I always feel immediate results after using it.

I had a big work presentation coming up and downloaded BoldVoice with low expectation. It really helped me improve my pronunciation and feel more prepared!       ​

I learned British English growing up so I have a mixed accent that is difficult to understand. this app has helped me with my American accent, which I find is easier to understand globally.

I’m a premium costumer. Awesome app, very helpful and precise. Some bugs to fix but overall it is great.
Ps: in the future would be helpful getting specific advices based on your native language.

If you want to lose your accent, this is the fastest way to do it. I try to use BoldVoice and then practice the words in real life the same day so that I can retain what I learned.
