ValeroPay+ Status

When I try to use the app, and choose pay at the pump, it will not authorize the pump. I have tried it several times at different Valero stations with the same non-result. These stations were both in Fort Collins CO, one at 1660 N. College and one at 803 Riverside in Fort Collins. My Valero credit card number is 92 4072 8305 . I might add that I have used this app in the past and it worked fine. I even deleted and re-loaded it to no avail.

"Sorry, we are not able to authorize payment" message with Valero credit card selected as payment method. Switched to Apple Pay and get same message. Switched to another pump and got same message, then "You have made too many requests to buy gas, please try again in 24 hours". I have only been able to authorize a pump a couple times - and NEVER on a day where they are offering 25c off per gallon. Probably by design. I have deleted the app and will call customer support to close my Valero credit card account when they open in the morning. Both are worthless to me. I get 10c off per gallon at Exxon and Mobil just by using their credit card - no app required and has never failed. Update: on my first attempt to post this I got a "too many attempts, please wait a few minutes and try again". This company is horrible.

Have tried numerous times to reload the Valero Pay+ APP. It will not allow me to load. I've used it many times before, and have had it linked to my Valero account. Whats the problem?

When I open the app at the gas station it will tell me I'm 35 to 90 feet away from the station and it won't activate a pump. I never had this problem before (at the same stations). I've uninstalled and reinstalled app but it still is off.

Dec 12, 2023 valeropay+ app on iphone not finding any stations. Phone recently updated to ios 17. App may occasionally find a station but when I click on it it goes away.

Seems like when gas prices drop my APP cannot find location of store where I purchase fuel all the time. STUPID and wasting my time trying to save money with your APP and fuel.

It seems if gas drops some the app stops working. Im sure they are turning it off

Trying to use app for the first time. "There was a problem communicating with the server". Forced the app down and tried again. Same msg. I'm on WiFi and all other apps are working fine. Brought down VPN and Valero app loads fine. Don't use VPN with this app.

I have tried 7 times to use the Valero app. I cannot get past 'phone number reuse restricted' error message. What is this? Thank you

Cannot get app verified via code as it will not accept my phone number saying "Phone number cannot be reused"

When I try to pay through the valero app it will not work.

The primary gas station we use NEVER works but the town 30 miles down the road does. When I try to use it at my local station it doesn’t connect. What’s the point of the app if you can’t use it locally?

Nothing happens when trying to link BOA account. Click Continue, then nothing happens.

This is the second time now where I try to reserve a pump and a message pops up that says error: cannot process your payment at this time.

When I try to start the app, it comes back error message ValeroPay+ has stopped working. Thereafter the error message is ValeroPay+ keeps stopping. This has been going on the last couple of weeks. I've been using this app since March and has worked fine until this.

I can be at the pump and being told by app mobile payment not available from this distance I have uninstalled and reinstalled app still same problem running IOS 15.4
