It’s really good for beginners

It’s a great app for someone beginning their triathlon journey. I love being able to put a schedule together easily and the workouts send to my Garmin watch. Only complaints I have is that MOTTIV tends to crash quite a bit or take forever to load. At times I just jump on the computer to make edits. Also I do not like when you have a particular race coming up and you add it in, it changes your schedule automatically for that race. I don’t think I need a whole workout plan changed to run a 5k. Deleting the race doesn’t help either so I choose not to list any. Over it’s a 4/5. Most of these all in one apps aren’t perfect but I think besides that, if you’re training for the first time MOTTIV will benefit you.

Excellent training plans for all types of races!

Age group athletes, this is MOTTIV you’ve been looking for! I’ve been using MOTTIV for a little over a year now and it has made such a difference in my performance. I’ve done 5 Olympic triathlons and since starting MOTTIV, not only has my speed and performance gone up with each race, but I’m not getting injured at all! It incorporates recovery weeks, strength, yoga, and even a little nutrition advice! The week of a race, you even get a race week prep audio seminar (~20 mins long) that gives you pro tips on how to maximize the training you’ve done while not doing anything to screw it up before the race haha. You can train for any triathlon distance, and run distance, or bike and swims. The free version is great, but I pay the $20/month in order to get customized zones and to be able to send the workouts to my garmin watch. LOVE MOTTIV!

I WAS race ready

I began using MŌTTIV at the beginning of 2023 to train for the Chicago marathon. I love MOTTIV!! I really love the simplicity of it. I can move by training days around quickly. The daily training is easy to remember. I like the videos that come with the strength training.
The MŌTTIV motto is “You Are Ready” and that’s exactly how I felt come race day. I set a PR in Chicago and felt great for the whole race.

I strongly recommend MŌTTIV.

Best Training App & Community!

Best training app there is. Used it to train for my 2nd full Ironman and PR’d my time by an hour. I can’t recommend it enough. From nutrition to workouts to yoga and strength. Great communication with other’s who use MOTTIV . It’s a great supportive community! It links with Training Peaks and Zwift! Just give the free trail a try and I guarantee you will love your results!

A terrific training tool for us!

I used MOTTIV, as I have in the past, for a recent international marathon. It was a very difficult course. Since I am just a regular, weekend athlete, I believe that MOTTIV helped me finish the race and accomplish my life goals. It was a key factor in my success in my opinion. I am very happy with it and it fits my busy life.

Great content

Just wanted to shoot a thank you to Taren. Been listening to and following for a couple of years and recently used the free content on the this app app. Did the Spudman Tri in Burley, Idaho yesterday. Got a PR and smashed my previous time by 17 minutes.

Thanks for your passion and open mindedness regarding training, for pivoting when you saw a need. I appreciate what you do.

Community and Customized Plans =priceless

Up until now I was like 1000’s of other age group, working adult triathletes who trained myself through triathlon. Yes I completed some big races under my “self-trained” method but at a heavy cost.

Previously overtrained and undereducated, MOTTIV and training plan have changed my triathlon life experience almost instantly.

Between the guided and customized training plan, it takes all of the guess work, self doubt and overtraining out of the equation. And now I get to just have fun.

The community that you are instantly a part of, the team you instantly join, is by far one of the underrated perks of MOTTIV.

Outstanding app

I’ve done several sprint tris over the years, but it’s been hard to get a good training plan, incorporate it into my schedule based on actual performance and integrate it with my exercise watches. MOTTIV does it all flawlessly. I feel really confident for my next race based on the workouts and process from MOTTIV.

Good content and convenient

I used the team Trainiac/this app website for a while, but found it hard to stay engaged before MOTTIV existed. MOTTIV make it super convenient to read, listen, watch the training for each workout. The audio clips make it clear what the objective is for a workout and how to adjust it to your personal needs.

This is it!

I have been using MOTTIV since I started my triathlon journey (2018). MOTTIV has been working perfectly and the workouts are fantastic. I have done few half IM races and I enjoy them all. I’ve decided to go all in and sign up for the full and I’m absolutely 100% positive that MŌTTIV will get me there!!! They know what’s up, so sign up my friend and get to work. :) thank you MŌTTIV!!

The best training app out there

I have been doing Ironman and 70.3 for the past 10 years I had a personal coach and for this season I decided to give a shot to MOTTIV . Man I raced Ironman 70.3 DesMoines today and felt amazing I feel that I’m back to the game nailed all my pace, nutrition and never felt that I was going to die. Besides the last 5k on the run. I’m 40 and
Managed to time 5h45, thank you and looking forward to continue training.

Just the ticket

I’ve been doing triathlons and marathons for over 15 years and previously did all of my training plans on my own using excel spreadsheets. Now for a minimal cost, I’m able to get a plan that’s equally sophisticated, and in many ways better with far less effort. The plan also includes strength training and yoga for endurance athletes, which, in the past I would tend to exclude because I was busy biking and running all the time. Now that I’m in my late 30s, it’s important to do the strength and stretching to make sure that I’m able to have longevity in the sport. this app takes all of Taren’s wisdom and collapses it into a clean and simple tool that puts my attention back where it belongs - on the workouts themselves rather than on the planning process.

Great app and ease of use for all !

This is a great way to not only get motivated but to stay motivated with other members being able to cheer you on and post as much or as little as you want about your workouts!
No matter how serious you are about endurance sports, this is a great way to train confidently, track daily and be ready come race time so you can attack your goals and cross that finish line feeling great!

Amazing app!

I love MOTTIV, started using it back in November. It’s highly customizable and provides excellent workouts! The this app team truly cares about its athletes and keeping us safe while focusing on performance. The continually update the interface making it better each time. They recently updated the pricing model as well, which was a complete game changer in the BEST way. Love the MōTTIV app and team and will continue to use it until I stop training. Thanks!!

Love love love!

I started using this program to prep for an iron man 70.3. I have a back ground in weight training and CrossFit and knew very little about swim, bike, run. This program is super user friendly and is great about explaining all the ins and outs of every workout. If there is a movement I don’t understand there are attached videos I can watch that go over everything! It syncs with my Zwift and garmin so every workout pops up when I’m ready to train. Couldn’t recommend this more for beginners and seasoned triathlon athletes.

Significant gains with this app

MOTTIV is when trust the process meets convenience. Need to do less, it is built in. Want to do more, it is built in. You can customize hours per week. Have multiple races to train for, it is built in. Need a community, it is built in. Great support as well, in articles and answering questions. I stumbled on the podcast first and decided to give MOTTIV a try. Really glad I did. There is a free version, but I pay to customize for different races. Nutrition for the work outs is included. Highly recommended!

Fantastic App!

I love how easy to use MOTTIV is. I do wish it had a couple of things, though:

Can we PLEASE get dark mode support? MOTTIV is beautiful but it is BLINDING!

Is there any way to shift the “focus” of a training block toward certain activities? Where I am, we get a lot of snow in the winter months and I don’t really have great access to an indoor track or treadmill. Doing intense runs outside at this time is dangerous both in terms of cars but also in terms of causing injuries. I’d love to be able to say, “hey, for this block, no anaerobic runs - let’s do more bike rides on Zwift and more swims in a pool.”

I have used some of the other training apps and seems that my MōTTIV app seems to be on point
Wanna do a triathlon they have a plan. If u wanna run they have a plan for that. If u are just into biking u guessed it have a plan for that as well. Weather if you do one race or many as well as in different types of races. Program also has programs from lifting to yoga.
After doing my first 70.3 triathlon I was hooked
14 days free trail give it a go and the price after is one of the best out there as far as training programs. The support get through MOTTIV as well as other members is out of this world.

Next Best Thing To 1-on-1

MOTTIV and Taren and his team are great. I can’t say enough good things about how phenomenal they are. I’ve since left for 1-on-1 coaching. But if I wasn’t I would still be using MOTTIV! The workouts are very similar to what I am being prescribed with coaching, Taren does a great job of explaining the why behind the workouts, and the whole team is built to help you succeed. Taren is building MOTTIV centered around helping you get the most from yourself and to achieve your goals! The MyMottiv app/program is head and shoulders above trying to go it alone, or buying a pre-planned program. In a sport with endless amounts of ways to spend your money, this is well worth investing your time in!

Great app

this app is a GREAT app for training! i used this to train for my first half and I am still using it for my marathon training. the interface is so user friendly and they make training and adjusting super easy. i also liked the variety of videos and helpful info. i totally reccomend!
