Update: I recieved email encouraging me to update my review. So let’s elaborate cause these folks are in my inbox, showcasing (in the fine print they say) the idea that you can use the images commercially- I’d sure hope so for the price. Anyway I canceled my subscription maybe a week or so later because I was in awe of how little I could do with ArtStage compared to the myriad of other more versatile and user friendly options. And yes free options. I got this as a shortcut, but it’s sort of a dead end. I use many other similar products and online tools but I don’t like people playin on my phone. So there you go. So these guys are thorough but ArtStage is certainly not, well for 2024 anyway. Cheers.

I wouldn’t normally write a review for an app I haven’t even had a full hour but having a continuous pop up asking me to review ArtStage after every tiny thing I do is very annoying. Especially when I am paying to use ArtStage . So far I am enjoying it but haven’t finished building my gallery to playing around with features. Can’t tell you much about ArtStage except they want me to immediately tell them about ArtStage .

I bought a yearly subscription in Jan. 2024 but haven't used it for months. All of my favorite frames are gone. I don't like the limit on the choices now and I wish you could adjust the mat size to be bigger at the bottom compared to the top. The frame shadowing I used to enjoy, but now the art just looks like it has been framed crookedly or asymmetrically--the mat appears so much larger to one side unless I eliminate shadow entirely with the sliding scale. I really dislike the heavily textured wood frames and now I am bummed about the whole app. I canceled the subscription after playing with it for awhile. I wish you pro-rated cancellation by month but now I'm stuck with it for a year. Just overall very disappointed now, whereas I used to recommend ArtStage a lot.

I had used ArtStage for a long time and usually twice a day. It worked perfectly. Since the update today, ArtStage is useless for me. I cannot even select from a specific folder to add my artworks. Furthermore, the digital quality is now much lower. I compared the results directly with the old version and it is like day and night.

Update: photos from folders can now be selected again. Regarding digital quality: to which email can I send attachments so that you can see the difference? On the website contact form no attachments can be added.

Just downloaded and started using ArtStage , and I love how my art looks in the rooms! It’s also great to be able to see it framed and scaled properly. Easy to get started. Love the textured backgrounds at the end of the list like the wood slats and brick wall. Works well for closeups! Would love to see a search feature like “office” or “Living Room”, and a favorites where you can save a room you like, or a sort feature by room type🧡It would save time scrolling for what you want since the images are not organized in any way that I can see. Also, I just mocked up a 48x60 painting and the size is way too big! That needs fixing.

The interiors are very good, also the gallery settings. It would be wonderful if more office scenes were available along with conference rooms and atriums. Many sales are found in these settings. Everything else about ArtStage is great including ease, frames and drop shadows.
Within days a developer responded to me about my suggestion in the paragraph above. I didn’t expect that and was very pleasantly surprised. I was told in the next update these commercial rooms and atriums would be added. If you’re serious about your artwork and showing follower’s and clients a realistic mock up ArtStage is responsive and fantastic!

Thank you for featuring more settings for smaller and medium artworks; along with simple and bright settings! The art brightness feature in the actual room setting is really handy; as my watercolor paintings tend to come out darkened or gray on other apps - even after editing upon uploading the images. Good resolution for downloading detailed small artworks as well. It would be great to have more options for frames, such as a warmer white (as an alternate to the super bright white that can look grayish or too cool in some of the interiors).

The room images are beautiful. But it would be great if the following could be added:
1) Ability to save multiple watermarks - one for dark images and one for light images. It’s annoying to have to retype it every time I want to go from a white watermark to a dark one.
2) Ability to rotate the watermark, like an image, so it could be placed on the left or right side of the image instead of always on the bottom.
3) Ability to change the size of an image to a particular size (maybe from a dropdown menu) once added to a room rather than re-placing the image, or pinching it with two fingers (which I found by accident) and not knowing what the final size it is.

I love ArtStage. I use it all the time for my Shopify store. It’s super easy to use, like super easy.
I love their rooms & wall choices. Although they are almost to nice because there’s no way my art looks that good in real life; the rooms make the art look better, but hey why not.
The shadow feature is great. It adds that depth I need because my heart is printed on metal and otherwise it would just look flat.

And side note - I read the privacy policy on the their website and they do not collect or sell data. Thank you to the makers of ArtStage 💕

ArtStage is definitely it!!!! It can stage any shape of artwork as long as you remove the background with another app first. ArtStage helped make my vision come to fruition as far as staging my art in beautiful rooms, ArtStage makes my art look as awesome as I could ever hope! Worth every penny and highly recommend!!! Looks better than most art staging apps that only let you stage square or rectangular art, and looks artificially placed in the rooms, but not ArtStage! Art looks totally real and natural with perfect shadow placement! Love ArtStage so much!!

I’m really enjoying ArtStage for my photography social media! I love the variety and sleek designs.

In the future, I would like to see an option where we could upload a photograph and have it stored at different sizes (instead of just 1) so that we could show potential customers a small, medium, and large version of our prints in different rooms.

I know we can resize manually, but it would be helpful nonetheless.

I am a professional artist, and I use ArtStage exclusively for staging photos of my art. I’ve tried all the others, but Art Stage has the best variety of rooms, with new ones added on a regular basis. I especially like that they have several options for displaying smaller paintings. It is very user friendly. I also appreciate that they share and promote their users on social media if you tag them when you post.

Using to sell art and submit to galleries, gotten a positive response in just 2 days of using. The owner is awesome always quick to answer any tech questions I have. TY! 😻 update: it’s been 2 months and I sell several pieces a month now on FB marketplace, even got a few commissions. It depends on the algo picking up my work but I outperform other artists in my market cuz my pics are so dope! chk em out for yourself FB marketplace Clarisse Noelle. Best app ever thx ❤️

I just found ArtStage and truly love it. It’s so easy to use. As an artist I’ve been wanting to find something like this. Right now I’m not selling much art, so I can’t really afford to upgrade. But I have a feeling that ArtStage is going to help me sell more of my work. It shows my work and makes it look more professional. Once that happens, I will definitely upgrade. Thank you!!!

ArtStage is amazing, I love it! Some things I’d love to see:

Being able to change the perspective would be HUGE, like slightly angled to the side etc, for more variety.

Being able to crop in ArtStage . A lot of the worlds are super wide viewed and when I download the image I crop in. Would be cool to do that in app so I can see what it would look like.

I was previously using an art staging app that had glitches, so I switched to ArtStage. ArtStage is by far better. The rooms look professional, and of higher quality, which increases the perceived value of my art. I also LOVE that there are MANY closeup options to showcase smaller pieces of art. ArtStage is self-explanatory and easy to use. I love it.

Love it when first installed the trial and liked it then brought the one mo subscription, today is the third day installed ArtStage and am not able to upload any art pic to the room. Pls advise.

I have contacted ArtStage regarding my issue, they responded quickly and solved my issue.

This is ArtStage to use to imagine your art displayed in a variety of rooms. Not only is ArtStage amazing, the creators are extremely responsive to issues and suggestions. I am beyond impressed with ArtStage. It has become an essential part of my small business!! 11/10 would recommend!!

this app has done for art what google has done for web searching and what “maps” has done for road travel. One day most artists will ask , “what did everyone do to show their art before this app “. It’s single-handedly the most important tool for my business.

All the other ones say in app purchases, but won’t actually let you download a single sample pic to see if you actually like the product. Some of the interiors aren’t as good as other apps, but they are clean and straightforward and seem to have more options for displaying small works in a close-up way that allows detail. Then if you want additional interiors it costs extra money. But at least you can download as many free designs as you want until you want more variety. The only app like this that I use.
