TV Cast for DLNA Smart TV Reviews

Worked great for months casting videos to my Xbox One. Then recently something updated and it no longer works, I don’t know if TVCast changed or the Xbox applications. Now, when I cast to my Xbox, it brings me to a screen asking if I want to open Movies & TV rather than just opening it and playing the video. If I open it the video does not play and if I try casting again it takes me back to that screen. I can’t find any way to work around this on my end. PLEASE FIX!!

So heres the deal, i have used this with my XB360, and kissanime does not work with it. Now before you say “well that probably is only for that system!”, i have a feeling you will get the same results for any other system due to the way kissanime checks to verify that you are not a robot. I i remember correctly, TVCast works via link relay vs standard sender-receiver streaming so as to increase stream quality, however I believe that this is where the issue lies. While i am not suggest you switch the entire OS of TVCast to conventional streaming, i think if you add a option to choose between the two it would prove beneficial to most problems like this. My opinion.

TVCast is really helpful, and it does work just like it says. The only thing though, sometimes the video playing will close unexpectedly and there are no controls (if you want to fast forward or anything). Like if I’m in the middle of a video and it closes, I would have to watch the whole thing over again from the beginning because there are no in app controls. If you could add this feature then TVCast would completely be five stars!!

It worked great the first time I used it, but now it can never seem to sync videos, and it’s always getting stuck on ads that you can’t close. I’ve tried it on both my phone and iPad, but ever since I stopped watching it when I first downloaded TVCast , it hasn’t worked at all.

I had my iOS connected with my SIEKI TV sharing a photo with in just a few seconds. Hopefully the The sale is still on later this week so I can unlimited /multiple apps. All the others I've tried look ok and free, then second after DL and opened you have to be quick to stop saying you will pay. Even the iOS screen mirror isn't wanting to mirror.

This is the best app for casting web vids to your tv using dlna but I recently found out that if you buy full features together in the shop it will make TVCast crash when casting and the cast stops on the tv too, I wish developers fix this bug in the next updates.

I’ve spent so much time trying to download tv apps to watch a movie from my phone and none of them worked or required pay. TVCast doesn’t require pay to watch and is easy to navigate. Definitely recommend getting

Overall I enjoy TVCast. It’s nice to be able to put screen shots from my tablet or phone onto my tv’s. At times it’s frustrating when I find a video that for some reason isn’t supported. Especially from a “mycloud” server.

Terrific! I can stream from the internet to my Xbox! Only thing I would add is video controls for internet videos (if possible) All attempts to control playback in the in-app browser simply stop the video and cause it to ask if playback has begun... Really satisfying otherwise! Thank you!

It’s fantastic to be able to watch any video on a TV.
Just pay for no ads – that is well worth the tiny cost – unless you work for like 2¢ per day, your time is valuable – don’t penny-pinch and try to use it entirely for free.

Stopped working after ios 14.5 update! Please fix ASAP!

I have both TVCast and the one for Samsung and TVCast keeps closing out every time it plays a movie or I go into another app also makes my whole phone freeze and closes out TVCast and stops playing the movie. The Samsung app on the other hand I can close it and go on other apps and it will still be playing on my tv but this one is very bad.

I could not get it to work with iPhone 6s and Sony BDP-S6700 I kept getting broken file or unsupported file message.

Ads pop up before getting it to work at all. That is frustrating. I won't be buying this one. I'm sure it must work on some products just not mine.

only giving it one star bc I can’t give it any less. huge waste of time, many pop-ups, very laggy. you think you’re going somewhere and it might actually work then it drops your connection and your at step one. awful app, just took an hour out of my night. bottom line, TVCast DOESNT WORK AT ALL

I paid for TVCast it Keeps crashing. I hope you can fix this bug as the application is great when it does decide to work.

This is a good dlna casting app. It’s quick and finds most available compatible devices. And it’s easy to use.

I own all their pro versions. They work well,
But flat out lying about a function that's not in TVCast is total bull cokamallocky.

My dad has a 75 inch Samsung TV in the living room. NO ONE is allowed to even touch it except HIM. TVCast automatically detected the tv and connected to it. I request you to remove this feature.

Better

TVCast plays too many ads to be useful. Ad pop ups consume the entirety of the screen time and you are unable to even begin to load a video. Completely useless and junk. Don’t waste your time.
