1 year agoYour phone number is your only method to login to this stupid bank account, no email/username or password, you put your phone number and your password is the code they text you. Which I wouldn't honestly mind...if mos hadn't apparently erased my phone number from my account...when I try to login now with my number, it opens the account creation page like my account doesn't even exist. Yet when I link my mos account to sofi (using plaid on sofi website), it logs me in and displays my current balance and everything. I contacted customer service asking what was going on, and they tell me if I want to *change* my phone number I need to send them all this information and a selfie of me holding my ID...first of all I'm not asking to change my number, I'm asking why the hell yall screwed up my phone number and asking yall to fix it. Second, I do not have an ID to show yall, mine is expired and I'm waiting on a replacement. You didn't require my ID when I opened this stupid account, now you want to require it after yall screwed my account up and I'm supposed to wait until my ID arrives to get access to my money? Absolute crap. Also, who the hell wants a $1 reward for referrals? What am I supposed to do with one dollar nigga, I got kids!

1 year agoMOS YALL STEALING MONEY WHY CANT I USE MY MONEY. I LOCK MY CARD BECAUSE I DONT TRUST WHITE PEOPLE OR BLACK PEOPLE YALL WILL STEAL. IS MY CARD LOCKED BECAUSE I NEVER EMAIL OR CHAT SAYING ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY CARD. I HAVE SHIT TO DO CAN I GET MY MONEY I GOT ON MY OWN NOT YALL MONEY….

So, I signed up for Mos when it was still in the middle of being launched and I was super excited to see how this would work as I am a college freshman. I signed up for it on my 18th birthday at midnight, submitted my information, and waited. But they’re telling me that I can’t open an account officially “based on my info” and “for security reasons”, they can’t tell me why. You can’t re-apply since it’s based on your phone number. I’m sure the app is fine, but signing up for it as a new 18-year-old doesn’t work. Support in regards to re-application is not helpful whatsoever.

The app has definitely made the communication between my coach and I a lot easier! The setup was a little confusing at first but you can still get through it without much issue. I already had my account set up on the website prior to downloading the app so that may have helped with my account setup on the app. My coach is very responsive and helpful and definitely makes the Finacial Aid process a lot easier!
