DeadlineApp is poorly designed after a couple weeks of use. Yes, it does show you the deadline in clear order. But it is 1) unable to sort the deadlines in categories. 2) extremely difficult and frustrating to keep items in sync with multiple divises, even with the pro subscription. 3) inconvenient to "complete" the items which does not have any shortcuts in editing deadlines' status 4) NOT support deleting items, the only way to "delete" it is to change every single detail to the new details in order to replace it.

I downloaded this so I could have the widgets on my Home Screen and it doesn’t work after I paid for the subscription. I’ve turned on/off my phone, deleted and reinstalled DeadlineApp . I emailed the dev as well and have not received a reply.

DeadlineApp has a lot of potential but at this point is minimal with much room for improvements that would justify a $10 subscription.

Here is how it would be much more useful to me (I realize this is personal and others will have different preferences):

- make it count in both directions (how much time until… or how much time SINCE)
- probably most important: let me choose the display units: for example due in two months or due in 61 days; AND let me not count weekends (I really don’t have 61 working days for this project if we deduct weekends!)
- let me choose which timelines / deadlines to add to widgets: one is not enough; all are too many
- figure out a graphic way to signal time visually on widget timelines: I have one thing due in 2 days and one in 2 months: on the widget they both look pretty much the same, which defeats the purpose of having a widget for that.

Overall, a good idea, with a lot of potential, but too basic to be useful to me at this point.

Decent app, but there are plenty of like solutions that don’t require an endless subscription. Subscriptions are a nonstarter for me… and this is increasingly the case for users.

DeadlineApp works as described. I was disappointed that there was a widget for iPad but not one for iPhone. I would like to have the events visible. Also there is no share or copy to clipboard features so again, you can only view your data when you open DeadlineApp , you can’t do anything with it.

Great simple app. Does what I need it to do. Can you please give us the option for 12 hour format instead of 24? Maybe you already do but I can’t find it. Thanks.

Nice and simple app but I can’t add widget for this on the iPhone w/ system iOS 15.6…?

This is a great visual to do list for my ADHD brain. I purchased, and all my devices are syncing, however my computer says that I still need to purchase and won't restore my purchase the way my other devices did, so I can't add more than 4 deadlines on my computer. If I add the deadline on my iPad or iPhone, however, it will still appear. A weird bug, kind of annoying, but not a dealbreaker since it's still syncing.

After a recent update, completed DDLs will be automatically delete fter 30 days and I cannot find the options to disable this feature. Please consider allow users to control this and I will definitely give it a five star :)

Would be better if there’s an option for the bars to represent how many days left, instead of the percentage time left since start date. Not all things have a specific start date so it would perhaps be more intuitive if the lines most to the left have the closest due date, and are ranked in that order.

Thanks to DeadlineApp….I could finish my tasks on time!!!!

It's working well and there aren't much (if any) apps like this. Can you add a lifetime subscription?

No ads, no complicated UI, just simple but useful function for the deadlines

Keep track of critical tasks in order of urgency. Clearly view whats upcoming. One of best apps on phone tbh mainly appreciate widget

Okay, remember how the glitch where the profile kept popping up randomly (open and close repeatedly) if you opened from a widget? Well, guess what. Do what I said last time. Make a deadline, then after that, make a widget. Now, go into the widget (hold on it) and edit it to where your deadline shows on the widget. Now, go into the widget, get out of the deadline and press the "+" button. Now, exit out of the widget and press on it again, exit the deadline, and now you have the "add widget" menu opening and closing in a repeating behavior. Thankfully, this doesn't work whenever you do it with Deadline Pro or Ultra. Please fix this. Like before, not a huge issue.

What a wonderful app, so simple yet so good. But I really needed more colors for the tasks and a light mode as well as the function that can automatically switch modes as the phone switches its mode would be very nice to have.

As an user, I am wonderingly why we cannot see the percentage of how long we’ve been gone through the start point or apart from ddl time. Hate most app when ddl is comming soon. App itself is good. Full mark will be given after the ddl.

I love DeadlineApp a lot. It helps a ton because I have severe ADHD and need to keep track of these these things constantly.
One feature I’d like though is instead of specific tasks, maybe more of a countdown focused one that just alerts you when the countdown is complete and doesn’t require you to mark as complete.
Another thing is separate categories for deadlines, such as education, work, etc. would help to sort them.
The live activities are also a great addition, but are pretty buggy. At the moment, they don’t move the progress bar over time and you need to manually restart the activity again. Other than those little things, great app.
