MyLocalSafety Status

For community members: MyLS provides an easy portal to help protect your family and home by securely sharing information with your local emergency service providers to aid them in providing faster and better help in the case of an emergency.  MyLS provides a portal through which you will be able to access residential pre-plan information uploaded by your community members to help improve the timing and quality of emergency services.  MyLS will also provide you with access to emergency response information, resources and important alerts from your local emergency service providers who are using the MyLS platform.  MyLS is a fully customizable public safety app that enables emergency service providers to connect with their community to improve communications and to improve the delivery of emergency services.  For first responder and other emergency service entities to have their own customized portal within MyLS, they must have a current subscription to MyLS. ***If you do not find your local emergency service provider(s) within MyLS, then they have either not yet subscribed to MyLS or have not yet activated their MyLS portal.  For emergency service entities: MyLS helps with community risk reduction and enhanced community communications.  MyLS also provides each emergency service entity an instantly available app that is fully customizable and easy to deploy.  MyLS is a companion app to the IamResponding. com system, which provides alerting and mapping tools for first responders and allows first responders to know who is responding to an incident, where they are responding, and when.  IamResponding is used by thousands of fire departments, EMS agencies, emergency management entities, and incident response entities and teams.  MyLS is free for all community members.  That information will populate within your IamResponding maps.  You will customize this with your own logos, colors, photos, videos, and content specific to your entity and region.  That is an easy process that they can complete quickly.  This will provide you with a very effective communication portal to reach your community with important information and alerts, and it will also provide an effective communication platform to assist you with recruitment, fundraising, and building connections within your community.
