New app & E-edition

Forget reading a newspaper! This app and all the new modifications leaves you trying to figure out how to find what you want to read. It is not user friendly. It is hard to find the arrows to advance pages if you make print larger. It is hard to get back to your page when you do select an article to read. It’s hard to find a special section of interest. There is very little news and mostly ads. The E-edition from previous apps was the best way to find anything, and all of that has disappeared. The symbols to replace that format are misleading and the pop ups are annoying and are often difficult to remove leaving one in a quandary of where the newspaper went. I can’t rate it below a 1, but it should have a negative rating!!

I miss the Oklahoman

I’ve been able to adjust to the print replica; still miss the physical paper. But the paper. Has been decimated in the last 6 mos. or so. No marriage/divorce info. I used to anxiously await the Sat issue to look at the real estate transactions. Finally in the last several months the listings were more complete, stretching into two pages, then poof it was gone all together. If you get rid of the death/ obits I’ll be done !!!!!!!!!!! I would add, very poor “local coverage”. Also layout. You can’t seem to finish even a short story without continuing 2 inches several pages away.

All-around bad

Horrible app and even worse customer service. This is the third straight Friday that the app doesn’t work. All I get is a message saying to contact customer service. By mid-morning on Monday, it magically starts working again. Customer service was a complete waste of time. They couldn’t find my account. Why am I talking to a guy in India? So much better before they changed apps. Of course this paper has been on a downward spiral for many years, so it shouldn’t be a surprise.
