Dex iPhone Issues and Solutions

Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever Dex app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix Dex app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Dex app on iPhone
Update Dex app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Dex iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Dex on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Dex network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Turn off your VPN:
1. Goto "Settings" » "General" » "VPN".

Fix Dex not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Dex app issues:

Force Stop the Dex App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Dex app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Dex to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Dex App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Dex app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Dex.

Fix Dex unable to contact server/ Dex internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Dex » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Dex » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Dex on android.
