PokerAI has some cool learning tools, and at first I thought I had finally found a legit play money app that isn’t rigged where you can play against other players . They claim deals are random and fair, and at first it seemed to be the case. But after playing against other users for a while it seems there are definitely set up boards, with a lot of ridiculous and improbable straight and flush runner runners. Seems more realistic than the extremely rigged PokerStars, but definitely something fishy going on with these boards.

Bots always raise 5x to open. (No way this is positive ev).
Bots rarely call, they 3bet, doubling the opening bet.
They over-value trash hands like A4 off suit preflop.

Thet will not be bluffed on dicey boards (4 to a straight or flush) if they have a pair.

The ai is extremely beatable. I won 20 table buy-ins in a weekend during my son’s baseball tournament.

They will lay down just about anything but the nuts if you 3x raise their flop bet.

Entertaining, but not a training tool if you have any experience.

Anything if value costs a large amount of money ($149 for VIP to get actual analytics)…. it’s an okay practice game against bots

Be nice if there was a free trial or even 1 month subscription period. I’m not gonna pay for a full year without seeing the premium features of PokerAI firsthand

I love PokerAI and all it has to offer. All I’d like to see Is a friends list and ability to invite friends to your table on the online mode. I love this poker app for its simplicity and tools offered to sharpen your play. Thank you for this gaming experience.

Don’t like the VIP restrictions. Maybe make a little more available to see if I actually want vip.

The only negative so far is the size of the hole cards. You need a magnifying glass to see your cards. It would also be nice to have landscape mode as an option.

I’m on the freemium version. This is better than other poker apps in terms of statistical dealing of cards (I manually tallied and it checks out fairly decent ) and I like how the AI robots in practice adjust to counter your style. But my biggest grievance is that they are a little too easy to beat, and therefore not optimal practice. Their ranges are much wider than what you’d normally see at the 2NL-25NL real money online rooms, and their betting is all over the place. Very close to “maniacs”. If you read the poker strategy books on how to play against these types of players you’ll do well.

As far as practice mode, I wish there was a setting where you can choose the playing styles of the robots: TAG, LAG, calling station, etc. That would hugely beneficial practice in terms of learning how to adjust your strategy in playing against these types of players IRL.

Overall PokerAI is headed in the right direction, but I haven’t seen enough to convince me to pay $50 for the premium features (I might if they had a free trial but they don’t).

I like the aspects of PokerAI that help you become a better poker player. They did a great job designing a poker play with others game in PokerAI that I found delightful however the dark side to PokerAI is it’s also sneakily designed to drain you of chips. I’m an app developer myself and its obvious however i respect the hustle.

I really like using PokerAI to practice, however I would like a “chip bonus” mode that worked more like cash games. IE if a bot goes bust, they’re replaced with another bot. Having to constantly leave the game and come back in order to keep the game 6 handed, or win dozens of single table tournaments in a row is annoying.

Straightforward and beginner friendly without all the casino cartoon graphics of other poker apps.

Will give it 5 stars! Seems to have a more realistic approach to hands than some of the other apps out there.

Pretty straightforward layout. It doesn’t force you to watch adds which is great. And mosh important the shuffle of the deck is very honest. Not like most poker apps or websites where the cards always seem to be manipulated by the computer. Love PokerAI so far.

I just joined and have zero chips. I click “write review” to receive chips to play. I have not played yet because I didn’t have chips so I can’t give accurate review at this time. Silly how you don’t give starting chips.

So how do I say this... I've wanted to play poker since I was a toddler... No seriously. But my mom was the only gambler and she didn't play poker. My dad had a virtual poker game machine that I always tried to play... But I swear I just pushed buttons. No clue what I was doing. Poker has always seemed like the most complicated and impossible card game to me. But PokerAI really helped.

I am trying to learn the more mathematical side of poker and strategy, this game is very helpful!
